B. in Kugellagern.
Picture sound film player. It was known to design the sound device as an additional device to the image device in image sound film reproduction devices. This had the advantage that the sound devices could not only be interchanged on the same machines, but also on different machines. In addition, it was advantageous in itself to be able to attach the sound device as a structural unit to the machine and to be able to detach it from it.
It was also known that the sound device could be built organically in (the projector work. This had the advantage that the film could get the most favorable position In addition, in the known designs with a built-in sound device, the flywheel of the sound device circulated in the oil chamber of the projector plant.
It could not be ruled out here that the changing viscosity of the oil filling and the different wetting of the flywheel mass with thrown oil influenced the synchronization of the sound device.
The invention has set itself the goal of combining the advantages of both types at least to a large extent. It should be possible to easily connect the sound device as a structural unit with the projector and to separate it from it or to switch to another sound device. In addition, such an organic connection should be achieved between the sound device and the projector mechanism that the cheapest film run can be easily selected.
According to the invention, in a picture sound film playback device in which individual parts of the film transport mechanism of the sound device which can be attached to the picture device as a structural unit protrude into the projector housing, the centrifugal mass of the sound device lies within the outline of the movement housing of the picture device.
As a result, in addition to the easy interchangeability and the possibility of the cheapest film run, the additional advantage of particularly clever use of space is achieved.
The sound device can either be flanged into the projector housing with a housing enveloping the centrifugal mass, or it can protrude with the centrifugal mass into a niche recessed in the projector housing. In both cases, the centrifugal mass expediently rotates without contact with the oil bath in the projector housing. .
The drawing shows two execution examples.
Fig. 1 is a schematically drawn front view of the projector mechanism housing with inserted sound device.
2 is a horizontal section through the projector mechanism housing and the sound device, taken through the drum axis.
FIG. 3 is a section corresponding to FIG. 2 in a second embodiment. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the projector unit housing 1 is equipped with any known film guide 2 and with the film indexing roller 3, which is moved, for example, by an 11alteser cross gear. The rewinding roller 4 is also mounted on the projector mechanism housing.
The housing 5 of the sound device is flanged into a section of the front wall 10 of the projector mechanism housing. After the interior of the projector mechanism housing, the sound device housing is closed by a cover 9. In the cover 9 and in a wall 11 of the sound device housing, the drum axis 1 $ is mounted with the flywheel 16, for. B. in ball bearings. At its front end it carries the clay drum B. The photocell 6, held by a carrier 7, protrudes into this. In a special chamber 13 of the sound device, the sound lamp 14 is housed, the light is thrown through a slit optics 15 on the sound track of the film.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 3, the flywheel 1.6 is overhung on the axis 12 of the clay drum 8. It protrudes into a niche 17 formed by _N '@' and parts of the projector mechanism housing, while the sound device housing 5 is flanged from the outside to the front wall 10 of the housing as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
In both embodiments, the sound device can easily be exchanged as a whole. In your embodiment according to FIG. 3, the interior of the projector mechanism housing containing an oil bath is not opened.
