Connection between a vapor skin and a carrier of the same and method for producing the same. The creation of a connection between an artificial skin and a carrier made of paper, for example, as is the case with window envelopes and sacks of all kinds with windows, was associated with difficulties that only began with the creation of one suitable adhesive have been wound over. This adhesive is a relatively expensive one and, with today's shortage of raw materials, difficult to obtain for the product.
The present invention can now solve the problem of making a durable connection between an artificial skin and a carrier of the same herzu with cheap and easily available adhesives.
The connection according to the invention between an artificial skin and a carrier of the same is characterized in that the carrier and the artificial skin are firmly connected to one another by a connecting means that extends through the latter and is fixed to the carrier. Such a connection is expediently established in such a way that the carrier and the artificial skin are glued to one another by means of an adhesive firmly adhering to the carrier, so that the adhesive partially penetrates the artificial skin.
In the drawing, some example, embodiments of the inventive method he prepared connections between an artificial skin and a carrier thereof are illustrated. 1, 4, 7, 10 and 11 artificial skin strips provided with various suitable openings, FIG. 2 a cross section through the connection of an artificial skin strip with two material webs, FIG. 3 a view of the connection according to FIG Outside,
Fig. 5 is a view of the connection of an artificial skin strip with two strips of material seen from the inside, Fig. 6 is a cross section along line I-1 in Fig. 5, Fig. 8 is a cross section through a connection of an artificial skin strip with two strips of material and Fig. 9 shows a view of the connection according to FIG. 8 from the outside.
In the connection illustrated in FIGS. 1-3, an artificial skin strip 1 is used, which is attached to its webs 2, \ _? ' to ver binding edges has round openings 4. 3, 3 'are along the edges of the webs extending holding strips, which consist of the same material as the webs themselves. At least the holding strips 3, 3' or the facing edges of the webs 2, 2 'are provided with adhesive, which in in each case firmly adheres to the tracks 2, 2 '. The perforated edges of the artificial skin 1. lie between the tracks 2, 2 'and the retaining strips 3, 3'.
The openings 4 of the artificial skin are set by the adhesive, and the artificial skin 1 is fixed by this adhesive on the webs 2, 2 '. The connection is reliable even if the adhesive does not adhere closely to the artificial skin.
As shown in Fig. 4-6, the openings 4 in the artificial skin 1 can also be triangular. The perforated edge of the artificial skin 1 is placed on the webs 2, 2 'to be connected to one another. Instead of holding strips as in the first exemplary embodiment, a holding layer 3 ″ made of adhesive is applied. The adhesive contains a solvent that evaporates after application and forms a coherent holding film that has the same effect as that applied by sticking Holding strip.
Fig. 7 shows an artificial skin 1 with V-shaped, zigzag lined up perforations 4. According to FIGS. 8 and 9, the edges of the artificial skin 1. and the webs 2, 2 'folds 5 respectively. 5 'which interlock with each other. The artificial skin 1 in turn has openings 4, which are penetrated by the adhesive medium. Special holding strips are superfluous, rather who these are formed by the free edges 3, 3 'of the folds of the webs 2, 2'.
According to FIG. 10, the openings 4 in the artificial skin are formed by slots arranged in rows. According to FIG. 11, the perforations in the artificial skin are open to the side, which perforations are in turn penetrated by the adhesive and convey the same reliable holding effect as indicated above.
All adhesives that do not adhere to the artificial skin, such as glue, paste, gum, gum arabic, Textrin and many other adhesives (putties), are suitable as adhesives, the choice of which depends entirely on the nature of the artificial skin connecting 'material webs.
The invention is suitable, for example, for attaching windows made of transparent or translucent films (cellulose films) to paper bags, paper sacks (Mottensäcl @ e) envelopes, etc. It is also suitable for use in other packaging materials or objects of all kinds that made of metal, wood, plastics, etc., which aim to make the content visible by attaching artificial skin windows.
