Variable resistor for electric motors, especially sewing machine motors. The present invention relates to a variable resistor for electric, in particular special sewing machine motors with pillars composed of Koh lenpillen as a resistor. The resistance value of these pillars is changed by changing the pressure on these pillars.
There are controllers of this type known in which two -such coal pill columns are present, but see a ver relatively large length of the controller results.
The purpose of the present invention is to create a controller, the dimensions of which are reduced as much as possible due to a particularly favorable arrangement of the parts. According to the invention, this reduction in the dimensions of the control resistance is achieved by the fact that the receiving body for the carbon pill pillars provided in the housing base has four parallel bores and four coal pill pillars arranged in these bores and that -the for the exercise of the variable , The pressure on these columns serving pressure plate is connected to a flexible tension member,
which is guided via a rotatable in the housing base: mounted roller and engages an actuator for the control resistor.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1. A longitudinal section through the Ge housing with housing cover, housing base and operating button, Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section through the receiving part for the coal pill pillars, Fig. 3 a rear view of the pressing plate for the coal pill columns, FIG. 4 a cross section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 3,
Fig. 5 is a side view of the press plate, Fig. 6 is a cross-section through the loading actuation button with part of the housing, Fig. 7 is a side view of the actuator containing the actuation button housing part. with the button, Fig. Legs bottom view of the housing for a detailed variant, Fig. 9 and 10 schematically two to the variant according to Fis. 8 belonging training forms of the actuator for the rheostat.
The rule resistance shown in FIGS. 1 to 7 has a housing 1 and a housing base 2, which can be detachably connected to one another in a manner not shown. The housing base 2 carries a receiving body 3 with four parallel bores 4 for receiving four coal pill resistance columns. In addition, a central bore 5 and a rectangular recess 6 are provided in the receiving part 3. The housing base 2 carries a bearing block 7 with open bearings B. The housing cover 1 has an opening 9 with a square cross section.
This opening is followed by a shaft 10, which serves as a guide for the push button 11, with lateral lugs 12 on the push button, protruding into cutouts 13 of the housing cover, limit the path of the push button upwards (Fig. 6 and 7) .
The pressing plate 14 (FIGS. 2 to 5) is displaceably guided in the recess 6 of the receiving body 3, with a shoulder 15 of the plate protruding into the widened part of the central bore 5.
Approach 15 is. surrounded by a compression spring 16 which is supported on the one hand on the base of the enlarged part of the bore 5 and on the other hand on the plate 14 and strives to push the plate 14 out of the recess 6. On the plate 14 a short-circuit bridge 17 is fastened, which works with contact bolts 17 'together. Furthermore, two contact springs 18 are provided.
The latter are fastened by means of a rivet 19 each in 2 # rods 20 with a circular arc cross-section. They receive their curvature only through their fastening in the groove 20, in which they are at the same time secured against rotation about the rivet 19.
The four ends of the contact springs 18 come into contact with the carbon pill pillars 21 (Attachment 2) when the press plate is displaced and press them together as soon as the button 11 is pressed into the housing 1. When the leaf springs come into contact with the coal pill pillars, the electrical circuit is opened. in which the regulator is installed, is closed and when these columns are compressed, the electrical resistance of these columns is reduced.
The electric motor therefore receives a higher current and runs n <shear. In the end position, the short-circuit bridge 17 short-circuits the carbon pillars via the bolts 17 '. The four hollow pill pillars can be arranged one behind the other or in two groups of two pillars in parallel. The latter circuit; allows the regulator to be used for lower voltages.
To transfer the pressure from the button 11 to the press plate 14, a chain 22 is provided which, at one end, is attached to a pin 24 in grooves 23 of the lugs 12 of the button 11. while the other end is connected to the press plate 14 in a collapsible manner by means of a transverse pin 25.
The chain 22 passes through the central bore 5 of the receiving part 3, as well as a bore in the extension 15 of the press plate 14 and runs over a roller 26 which is held by the beds 22 with its shaft in the open La Zern 8 of the bearing block 7.
To follow the leadership on the roller 26 of the train exerted on the press plate 14 is always directed perpendicular to this plate and ver does not change its direction, as was the case with known arrangements with a lever ratio.
A stop 27 is provided to limit the depth of depression of the button 11 and thus the lower value of the resistance of the coal pill pillars and thus also the maximum speed of the motor. The same exists. from a square plate that eats in the manner of a hiking nut by turning the rotary knob 28 on a threaded part 29 ver adjustable. The lower end of the button 11 encounters when pressed down on the stop 27, if the same is placed in the path of the button.
Instead of actuating the control resistor by means of the push button 11, an arrangement can also be made in order to change the control resistor by means of the knee or the foot of the person controlling the motor. For this purpose, a Ge housing cover 1 '(Fig. 8) is used, in the sen wall a bearing eye 30 is arranged.
This bearing eye is used to accommodate a shaft, on the outside of which a lever arm not presented Darge for the knee BEZW. engages a pull rod over a pedal. On the inside of the housing, a lever arm 32 is arranged on the shaft 31 in the training of the controller for knee actuation. A handlebar 33 connects the lever arm 32 with one end of a double-armed lever 34, at the other end of which the chain 22 engages.
In the embodiment of the controller for foot actuation (FIG. 10), the arm 32 is placed on the shaft 31 in the opposite direction with respect to FIG. 9 and the chain 22 acts indirectly on this lever 32. In the case of the last-mentioned embodiments, only the housing 1 'is different from the housing 1 according to FIGS. 1 to 7. The other parts of the controller are the same as those described in relation to the first embodiment.
