Circuit arrangement for marking different directions of traffic in telephone systems. The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for identifying different directions of traffic via abie gelte connection lines in telephone systems by means of alternating current and the same frequency. In this arrangement, depending on the occupied access at the outgoing line end, an occupancy pulse is transmitted, which begins with full waves, but after a certain time, depending on the desired direction, only positive or negative half-waves be available.
The invention consists in that the polarized receiving relay at the arriving end of the line, depending on the direction of the end half-wave of the occupancy pulse characterizing the respective traffic direction, assumes a different anchor position and accordingly identifies the desired one via auxiliary relays under two traffic directions, the two Auxiliary relays are switched on alternately by the polarized receiving relay during an occupancy pulse, remain energized during the pulse and are mutually dependent on each other,
that depending on the armature position of the polarized receiving relay determined by the end half-wave, one or the other relay drops out first at the end of an occupancy pulse.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is described below with reference to the drawing.
If the alternating current transmission Uel arranged at the outgoing end of the connecting line VL is occupied via the access C corresponding to a certain traffic direction, the occupancy relay Cl responds via its winding I. Relay Cl closes the following circuit for relay Al: earth, contact 4c1, winding 1l of relay Cl, contact 1d1, winding of relay Al, battery, earth.
The relay A1 responds and, via its contacts 17a1 and 18a1, switches on the alternating current source 11'Q in order to transmit an occupancy current surge to the connecting line I'L. The occupancy surge initially pulsates in full waves. After a delay of about 40 ms the relay El speaks. in follow the circuit: earth, contacts 6c1, 10d1, 7a1, winding of relay E1, battery, earth.
Relay E1 switches the rectifier GL via the contacts 11e1, 142i1, 13w1 in a bridge to the line cores, so that now only half-waves in a certain direction, assuming a positive direction, over the connecting line for the last 20 ms of the occupancy pulse be transmitted.
The occupancy pulse is ended by the fact that the relay El switches on the relay Dl via contact 8e1, which at contact 1d1 interrupts the circuit for the relay Al. Relay A1 drops out and disconnects the alternating current source IITQ from the connecting line I'L. Relay Dl is held in the following circuit: earth, contact 6c1, 9d1, winding of the relay Dl, battery, earth. The relay A1 is switched on via contact 2d1 to receive the following number current impulses on the incoming a-wire.
After the relay Dl has responded, the circuit of the relay El at the contact 10d, 1 is also opened, so that this relay also comes to the A b case.
In the incoming transmission ('e?) The polarized receiving relay P2 is influenced via its winding I by the occupancy pulse, which initially pulsates in full waves, in such a way that the armature alternates some 31lale from the working in When the armature of relay P2 is moved for the first time, relay X2 is energized in the following circuit: earth, contacts 6p 2 , </ I > 42, winding of relay X2, battery, earth.
The relay responds and prepares a circuit for relay Y2 at contact 8x2, which is immediately after relay P? puts its anchor back in the rest position. is closed via contact 5p2. Relays X2 and Y2, which have a drop-out delay due to capacitors connected in parallel, are retained during the occupancy pulse. After relay Y2 has responded, occupancy relay C2 is excited via contact 15y2.
Relay C3 remains independent of relay Y- ') via contact 16e2 . Via contact 17e29 , earth is applied to wire cl for the assignment of the selector connected to the transmission Ue); the selector connected to the direction a1, bi, cl is occupied. Relay C2 also prepares a circuit for relay 11 at contact 3e2? in front.
Since, as assumed, the occupancy pulse ends with a positive half-wave. so the armature of the polarized Emp catch relay P2 remains in the working position; accordingly the contact 6p2 is closed. The circuit for relay Y2 is finally interrupted, relay Y_) drops out after a delay, while the circuit for relay X2 is maintained via contact 7y2 . Only when relay Y2 has finally dropped out will relay X2 also finally drop out.
During the release time of relay X2, the following circuit for relay 112 is closed: Earth, contacts 10: z2, 3c2, 12y2, winding of relay H ?, battery, earth. The relay 112 responds and remains independent of relay X? in the following circuit: earth, contacts 1112, 3c2, 12y2, winding of relay 112, battery, earth.
The relay 112 separates the winding 1 of the polarized relay P2 from the voice wires at contact 311a2 and connects the AC relay J2 in its place in a bridge between the line wires via contact 321a2 which absorbs the subsequent current surges.
Relay J2 responds with the first incoming number surge and switches on the surge relay A2 via contact 21i2 . Relay A2 forwards the current impulses via contact 24a2. During the dialing of the number, the delay relay Y2 is activated in the usual way.
With the first number current surge, the winding II of the polarized relay P2 is excited via contact 20a2 in such a way that the armature of the relay is returned to its rest position. Accordingly, contact 6p2 is opened and contact 5p2 is closed again.
When triggered, the occupancy relay Cl falls in the transmission Uel as a result of an interruption in the c'-wire. Relay C1 interrupts the holding circuit of relay Dl at contact 6c1. Relay Dl drops out after a delay. During the release time of the relay Dl, the relay A1 is energized for a longer time in the following circuit: earth, contacts 3c1, 5e1, 2d1, winding of relay Al, battery, earth. Relay A1 sends a long tripping current over the connection line. After the relay Dl has dropped, the relay A1 also drops out, whereby the tripping current is ended.
In the incoming transmission Ue2, relay J2 and thus also relay A2 are energized for a long time by the trigger pulse. The occupancy relay C2 is short-circuited for a long time via the contacts 18a2, 19h2 and caused to drop out. Relay C2 initiates the triggering of the following selectors by opening its contact 17c2. At contact 3c2 the hold circuit of relay H2 is interrupted; Relay H2 drops out. All relays are now in the rest position again.
When the outgoing transmission Uel is occupied via the wire c "corresponding to a second traffic direction, the relays U1 and C1 are energized in series. Relay U1 opens its contacts 132c1, 14u1 and closes the contacts 12u1, 152c1. This activates the rectifier GL Prepared in a bridge between the line cores; in this case, however, with the reverse blocking effect. The mode of operation of the other relays is the same as when the transmission via core c 'is assigned.
Relay Cl switches on relay Al, relay Al gives a short alternating current supply impulse via the connection line, which initially pulsates in full waves. After about 40 ms, the relay E1 responds, wel ches the rectifier GL parallel to the primary winding of the locking transformer between the line wires. As a result, the positive half-waves are cut off for the last 20 ms of the occupancy pulse and only negative half-waves are transmitted via the connection line.
The occupancy pulse is ended by the fact that relay E1 switches on relay Dl, which relay then switches off relay Al again.
In the incoming transmission Ue2, the occupancy current surge is in turn recorded by the polarized receiving relay, which alternately places its armature in the working and resting position. This energizes relays X2, Y2 and C2. Relay C2 prepares the assignment of the following selector via contact 17e2 by connecting earth. Since the occupancy pulse ends with a negative half-wave in this case, the normally closed contact 5p2 is closed at the end of the pulse. Relay X2 therefore drops out first. while relay Y2 is still held via contact 8x2.
This creates the following circuit for the relays U2 and H2- : Earth, contact 9x2, winding of relay U2, contact 11y2, winding of relay H2, battery, earth. Relays U2 and H2 are kept energized independently of relay Y2 in the following circuit: earth, contact 13c2, winding of relay U2, contact 14u2, winding of relay H2, battery, earth.
Relay U2 opens its contacts 25u2, 27u2, 29u2 and closes contacts 26u2, 28u2, 30u2. As a result, the temporary seizure of lines a1, b1, cl after the first traffic direction is canceled and the transmission is switched to the lines a2, b2, e2 leading to the second traffic direction.
The other switching operations are the same as when the first traffic direction is occupied. Instead of winding I of relay P2, relay H2 switches AC relay 72 in a bridge between the lines.
It is triggered by a long pulse which causes all relays in transmission Ue2 to drop out.
