Fig. 1 zeigt einen Längsschnitt durch einen Turbinenrotor. Fig. 2 und 3 zeigen Querschnitte durch nebeneinanderstehende Schaufeln.
Fig. 6 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform im Längsschnitt.
Fig. 4 zeigt einen Längsschnitt durch eine Schaufel.
Fig. 5 zeigt die Schaufel 34 im Grund riss.
Fig. 8 zeigt die gleiche Schaufel im Querschnitt in verschiedenen Höhen gemäss den Schnitten A-A, B-B, C-C. Dadurch, da,ss der Schlitz nur einen Teil der Schaufel höhe annimmt, wird der Kühlmittelver- brauch reduziert, während die Kühlwirkung als solche in vielen Fällen absolut genügend bleibt;
Cooled hollow blade. The invention relates to a cooled hollow blade, in particular for gas turbines, in which the coolant is introduced at the blade root, flows through the blade in the longitudinal direction and leaves it at least partially through a gap running along the blade. The invention consists in that the gap is arranged behind the point of greatest profile thickness. The gap can extend over part of the length of the blade or over the entire length of the blade. The gap can run along the trailing edge of the blade.
The coolant channel can be narrowed to the outside or limited at the blade tip by a floor. The floor can have an opening. The hollow blade can be assembled from several parts by welding.
In the previous arrangements, where the coolant exits either at the front or at the top of the blade, the cooling effect in the most endangered trailing edge was the least intensive. In contrast, in the arrangement according to the invention, the rear edge can be cooled very effectively.
If the gap is arranged on the back of the blade, the escaping coolant can accelerate the boundary layer, specifically at the point where control of the boundary layer is difficult, i.e. towards the trailing edge, wherever there is a certain local pressure increase on the blade surface.
Embodiments of the subject invention are shown schematically in the drawings.
1 shows a longitudinal section through a turbine rotor. FIGS. 2 and 3 show cross-sections through adjacent blades. Fig. 4 shows a longitudinal section through a blade, which is shown in Fig. 5 in outline.
Fig. 6 shows a further embodiment in longitudinal section. 7 shows a variant of the rotor blade and FIG. 8 shows the cross section of this rotor blade.
Fig. 1 shows the longitudinal section of the rotor 1, which consists for example of four individual disks 2, 3, 4, 5 and connecting pieces 6 is welded together by several Ver. The rotor blade rings 7 and 8 of the two. first stages are designed as cooled hollow blades. The coolant, which will be compressed air in general, is passed through the hollow shaft stub 9 and 10, flows through the rotor 1 in the or by the arrows 11. 11 'specified way. The coolant thus arrives in the annular channels 12 and 13 and from here arrives at the hollow blades 7 and 8 through which it flows in the longitudinal direction.
Then it occurs through the rear edges formed as a narrow column 15 and 16 from the blades, as the arrows 14 indicate. The gap can of course only extend over part of the length of the blade.
The hot propellant enters the guide ring 18 at 17 and leaves the blades at 20. The cooling air fed through the stub shaft 9 is primarily intended for the blades 7 of the first stage, the cooling air entering through the stub shaft 10 for the second stage . However, bores 21, 22 are provided in the impeller disks 2, 3, through which some of the air supplied through the stub shaft 9 is fed to the second stage. This ensures that the space between the two impeller disks 2 and 3 is also continuously flowed through by cooling air and thus no local temperatures occur.
The coolant introduced by the stub shaft 10 passes through bores 23, 24, 25 of the individual wheels 5, 4, 3 to the rotor blade 8 of the second stage.
Fig. 2 shows the cross section through adjacent blades 7 or B. The blades can be made of several parts, with a part 26 and 27 by welding 28 are connected to each other. In practice, the production takes place in such a way that the inner sides 29 of the hollow blades are completely machined, then the welding takes place and only then the outer sides 30 of the hollow blades are machined. The gap 45 through which the coolant emerges from the blade runs along the rear edge of the blade, that is to say it divides it into two exit edges 27 'and 27a.
3 shows a variant in which the air is blown out through a gap 32 running along the blade back 31 and an acceleration of the boundary layer is brought about. The design of the shovel 33 is in two or more parts.
4 shows a longitudinal section through a shovel. The coolant channel 35 of the blade 34 is delimited in the vicinity of the upper end by a base 36 provided with a bore 37, through which bore a certain amount of cooling air enters the space 38 or. passes over to the housing wall.
Fig. 5 shows the blade 34 in the ground crack. The cooling air passes through the channel 35 and the bore 37 into the space 38. The space 38 is ge opens towards the outlet end. This makes it easier to manufacture the blade and gives the cooling air a good drainage option through the opening that is created.
6 shows a further variant where, in the coolant channel 35 after the tip 39, the blade 34 is narrowed, so that the flow velocity of the coolant after the tip drops too slowly. The bore 37 and the space 38 are also provided if.
FIG. 7 shows a blade in which the outlet slot for the coolant extends only along part 40 of the blade length 41. The coolant channel 47 is not closed at the top, so that some of the cooling air emerges from the top of the blade. This part simply flows through the gap that arises between the upper edge 46 and the housing wall 48 Ge.
8 shows the same blade in cross section at different heights according to sections A-A, B-B, C-C. Because the slot is only part of the height of the blade, the consumption of coolant is reduced, while the cooling effect as such remains absolutely sufficient in many cases;
In that part of the length that is not covered by the slot, there is an intensive flow of the cooling medium, so that, together with the heat dissipation through the foot itself, a sufficient cooling effect is achieved.
In section A-A the rear end of the vane part 44 is welded to the vane part 43, in section B-B the two vane parts 43, 44 are not welded to one another at this point, but they are still close to one another. In section C-C there is a between the two blade parts 43 and 44. Gap 45 is present through which the coolant flows over into the propellant.
Air can be used as the coolant. It would also be possible that inert gases, e.g. B. flue gases or nitrogen ete., Can be used for cooling.
