In Fig. 1 bezeichnen 1 und 1' den Nie der- und Hochdruckteil des Hauptkompres- sors, 4 den Zwischenkühler, 5 den Haupt rekuperator und 5' den Nebenrekuperator, 6 den Lufterhitzer, 7 und 9 die Hoch- und Nie derdruckturbine, 11 den Rückkühler, 14 die Abgasturbine. 15 und 15' das Niederdruck- und Hochdruckgehäuse des Aufladekompres- sors, 13 den Zwischenkühler desselben, 28 die Stelle, an der die Frischluft in den Kreislauf eingeführt wird;
Gas turbine plant, in which part of the working fluid carries out a cycle, while another part is removed from the cycle. The invention relates to a gas turbine system in which the working fluid is compressed, then heated and then expanded in at least one turbine performing the useful work, part of this working fluid executing a cycle, while another subset is removed from the cycle and a replacement quantity is supplied for it , whereby the partial amount discharged from the circuit is used as combustion air when heating the working fluid flowing around the circuit, and consists of
that the charging compressor, which works without intermediate cooling, conveys fresh air directly into the recuperator of the system. The exhaust gases from the air heater are expediently fed directly into the exhaust gas turbine without the interposition of a further heat exchanger. The fresh air can be introduced into the recuperator at that point at which the air flowing through the recuperator, relaxed in the turbine, has at least approximately the same temperature as the fresh air.
The invention represents a further development of a gas turbine system according to the patent claim of the main patent No. 212917 and has the purpose of achieving an equally good degree of investment efficiency with a simple circuit.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in FIG. 2 of the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows an example of the system according to the main patent no. 212917, wherein air is assumed as the working medium.
In Fig. 1, 1 and 1 'denote the low and high pressure part of the main compressor, 4 the intercooler, 5 the main recuperator and 5' the auxiliary recuperator, 6 the air heater, 7 and 9 the high and low pressure turbine, 11 the Dry cooler, 14 the exhaust gas turbine. 15 and 15 'the low-pressure and high-pressure housing of the supercharging compressor, 13 the intercooler of the same, 28 the point at which the fresh air is introduced into the circuit;
19 is the driven machine (electrical generator) and 17 is the power equalization machine of the charging unit.
The turbo blower 15 compresses the working medium that is sucked through the line 30. The compression takes place with intercooling in the intercooler 13. The compressed air then flows out of the turbo blower 15 'to the point 28, where in the line 29 the air relaxed in the low pressure turbine 9 and passed over the main recuperator 5 flows. The air is cooled in the dry cooler 11 and enters the main compressor 1 and 1 ', with an intercooler 4 being switched on between the main compressor 1 and 1'.
The compressed air is passed through the main recuperator 5 and through the secondary recuperator 5 ′, that is to say is preheated, and then heated in the air heater 6. In the high pressure turbine 7, the first part of the expansion takes place, in the low pressure turbine 9 a further part. After the low-pressure turbine 9, some of the air is passed through the lines 31, 32 into the main recuperator. The other part flows through the line 33 into the heater 6, in which fuel is injected through a line 34.
The resulting hot combustion gas heats the air flowing in the tube bundles of the air heater 6, cools itself down and is then passed into the auxiliary recuperator 5 '. The complete expansion then takes place in the exhaust gas turbine 14.
The way the system works is known per se. The power equalization on the charging unit 14, 15, 15 'can of course also be accomplished by other means than by the electric machine 17 shown, for. B. by mechanical coupling with the main machine group 1, 1 ', 7, 9 of the system.
The secondary recuperator 5 'has the purpose of reducing the temperature of the exhaust gases as much as possible and thus "carnotizing" the entire work process. The intermediate cooler 13 also serves to improve the efficiency of the system, because it reduces the power consumption of the supercharging compressor 15, 15 '.
The calculation shows that the two devices 5 'and 13 have small dimensions, but represent a very undesirable complication of the system, namely because the wiring is complicated and the supercharging compressor can hardly be constructed in any other way than two-housing.
If one were to try to simplify the circuit by simply leaving out the secondary recuperator 5 ', the turbine 14 would give a little more power, but more fuel would be needed in the air heater 6, since the air in the less highly preheated state in the Tube would occur so that the disadvantage outweighs.
A further simplification would be to omit the cooler 13, and at the same time the supercharger 15, 15 'can be built in a single housing. However, this increases its power consumption and further deteriorates the efficiency.
In the system shown in FIG. 2 and whose mode of operation is analogous to the system shown in FIG. 1, the secondary recuperator 5 'and the intercooler 13 (FIG. 1) are now omitted, but the point at which the fresh air is is introduced into the circuit, selected differently, namely the point 35 instead of 28.
The inventive thing is that the fresh air is not introduced into the transfer line between recuperator 5 and recooler 11, but at a suitable point in recuperator 5 itself. If the intercooler 13 is omitted, the air after exiting the charging compressor 15 already has a such Tem temperature that part of the heat of this air in the recuperator 5 can be recovered.
This recovery, which comes about because the fresh air is introduced directly into the recuperator 5, is so great that the deterioration caused by the omission of the auxiliary recuperator 5 '(FIG. 1) and the intercooler 13 is almost completely reversed is made. A very slight enlargement of the recuperator 5 even makes it possible to achieve a completely equally good level of efficiency. This creates a system that achieves the same efficiency as the previous circuit with a considerably simpler structure.
