Lock, especially for doors. Known door locks have three latches, one of which latches through the door, the other can be operated by a key and the third from a small handle.
As a result, these locks are relatively large, cumbersome to operate and relatively expensive.
The subject matter of the present invention remedies these disadvantages.
The lock according to the invention, especially for doors. only a single latch actuated by at least one pawl, with means being provided in order to be able to establish and solve the connection of the pawl with the bolt by means of a key.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown on the accompanying drawing sheet.
F'ig. Figure 1 shows the lock mounted on a door in elevation; 2 shows a vertical section through the lock with adjacent door parts; FIG. 3 shows a horizontal section through the lock, including some door parts, and FIG. 4 shows a side section.
1 is the door leaf on which the lock is mounted. 2 are two with 'the flanges 2' provided bushes, which intermesh useful moderately at 3: These bushes are fastened by means of screws 4 on the door leaf. 5, 5 '. Are the two door handles, the parts 5' of which are perpendicular to the door leaf and are pivotably mounted in the sockets 2 zen triert. The door pawls have a recess 13 with a square cross-section towards the door leaf and an opening 12 for the introduction of the key 45 towards the handles 5. 20 is a partial cylinder - which is pivotably mounted in the Büch sen 2.
The end walls 21 of this cylinder have openings 22 corresponding to the shape of the key bit 46. Outside. These end walls are arranged on .the same a piece of square tube 23 each. These tubes are used to connect the door handles with the partial cylinder 20. So that the same do not slide off these pieces of pipe, 5 'adjusting screws 14 are provided in the latch parts. These only form one type of attachment, for example. there are other possibilities for this.
The partial cylinder 20 has un dangerous BEZW in the middle a partition. a transverse wall, which degenerates into a hook-shaped tip 24 at the top (see FIG. 2). 25 is a provided on the partial cylinder 20, inwardly directed tab with two cams which are used to attach one ends of the springs 26, the other ends of which are attached to inner bulges 17 of the cylinder 2. By these springs 26, the tab 25 of the cylinder part is pressed against the screw 15 screwed into the cylinder 2 when no opposing forces are present. 7 are pins in the pawl parts 6 arranged eccentrically on the hubs 5 ', which pins are tapered at 8 and provided with buttons 10 on the outside.
These pins are arranged in .den pawl parts 6 longitudinally displaceable bar. Their outward movement is limited in a known manner by a ball which is pressed against the pin by a spring 11 and which jumps into a notch 9 in the pin part 8 in the front of the pin's end position. 16 are inwardly directed cams on the Büch sen 2, namely those outside the cylinder walls 21. 35 is a ge curved bracket with a U-shaped cross-section, whose carrier 34 firmly connected to it is straight and solid and in an opening 27 of the door leaf is accommodated. The bolt 30, 31 is attached to this carrier by means of the screw 33.
Above and below (see FIG. 2), flat springs 38 are attached to part 34 by means of rivets 37, which protrude beyond the joint between latch and part 34 and rest on latch part 31 so that when no external forces are present , the axis of the part 34 in, the extension of the axis of the locking part 31 lies. 29 are coil springs above and below the locking part 31, which at one end rest against the wall 28 'of the locking housing 28 and at the other end against the locking gel part 30, so there is a tendency to push the bolt outward. 36 is a cross pin at the free end of the bracket 35.
18 is a slot in the sleeve 2 through which the bracket 35 protrudes into the interior of this sleeve.
The lock works as follows: As it is drawn, the bushing: 34, 35 is imposed by means of the pin 36 with the tip 24 of the transverse wall 23 of the part-cylinder 20. If the door handles 5, 5 'are pressed down, the tip moves to the left with reference to FIG. 2, and the door can be opened because the bolt part 30 (which is in the strike plate 41 of the door frame 40 in the closed state of the door) lies) in the opening 27 of the door leaf respectively. is withdrawn into the bolt housing 28.
The bolt 30, 31 can therefore be actuated from the door handle like the bolt of an ordinary door lock. When the pawls are depressed, the springs 26 are tensioned and the springs 29 are compressed. If you let go of the pawls, the bolt 30, 31 snaps out again. The specified mode of operation assumes that none of the pins 7 is pressed inwards.
As soon as one of these pins is pressed inwards with the pawls raised, the pawls can not be lowered or. the lock can not be operated because .then the corresponding cam 16 respectively the movement of the pin. the latch prevents. This represents a safeguard against the actuation of the lock. If the pins 7 are both pulled outwards and you want to prevent the lock from being actuated anyway, i.e. H. ge can be opened, so you insert a key 45 into one of the pawls until the beard 46 of this key on the cross wall 25 of the cylinder part 20 is pending or. until the key mustache is under one of the side walls of the bracket 35.
Then turn the key in the clockwise direction with reference to Fig. 2, whereby the beard lifts the bracket 35 and the same under the action of the coil springs 29 moves slightly to the right until the ends of the springs 38 are against the bolt housing wall 28 '. As a result, only the partial cylinder 20 rotates when the pawls are lowered, but the bolt 30 is no longer withdrawn because the connection of the same ben with the pawls is interrupted.
If you want to open the lock again by means of the Klin ken, then you turn the key 45 in the opposite direction, whereby the beard grips the bracket 35 on the thigh surface 35 ', pulls the same up and to the left until, if the latches are not ge are lowered, the pin 36 of the bracket again imposed with the tip 25 of the transverse wall 25 of the part cylinder 20, whereby the bolt 30 can be operated normally again by means of the door handles. As with any lock, the profile of the key can be simple or complicated. Corresponding to the profile, the holes 22 in the end walls of the partial cylinder 20 must also be designed so that the lock cannot be operated with another key, if possible.
Compared to known locks there is still the advantage that the key bit profile on the outside of the lock housing is not copied or. can be made because this profile is not located on the outside of the lock housing.
