R@tehstrQDgnspel're <SEP> zur <SEP> Terlginderung <SEP> des <SEP> Zurüekströmens <SEP> eines <SEP> gasförmigen <SEP> Nediuins
<tb> <B>in <SEP> eine</B> <SEP> Leitung. <SEP> .
Fig. 2 zeigt einen Mittelschnitt durch die Rückströmsperre.

R @ tehstrQDgnspel're <SEP> for <SEP> reduction <SEP> of the <SEP> return flow <SEP> of a <SEP> gaseous <SEP> medium
<tb> <B> in <SEP> a </B> <SEP> line. <SEP>. The present invention relates to a device which serves to allow a gaseous medium to pass through in one direction, but to prevent the gaseous medium from flowing backwards in the opposite direction. Such devices are used, for example, in apparatus equipment for gas welding purposes.
The devices previously used for this purpose, the so-called return flow spares, require a relatively high initial force in order to be able to effectively prevent the gaseous medium from flowing back, which means that the forward flow of the gaseous medium is also relatively high Oppose resistance.
In addition, the known barriers easily cause a humming noise and disruptions in the flow rate of the medium with a certain medium flow rate. All of this offers considerable disadvantages, especially when it comes to gas welding systems.
The aim of the invention, in conjunction with eliminating these disadvantages, is to bring about a sol che locking device that offers the lowest possible resistance, but still reliably prevents the gaseous medium from flowing back, and which should also prevent the occurrence of a humming noise in the device .
For this purpose, in the non-return valve according to the invention, the valve element provided with a membrane control, which, under the influence of a certain initial force, tries to come into the closed position, is designed in this way. that, under the influence of the forward flow of the gaseous medium, it is influenced by a suitably considerably reduced initial force.
To explain the expression "considerably reduced" it should be noted that if 1000 liters of gas flow through it per 3'1 minute, the initial force is reduced, for example, by the pressure of 250 mm water column and at 3000 liters a pressure reduction of 1000 mm water column is achieved . The value varies depending on the design of the injector.
An embodiment according to the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing. Fig. 1 shows a welding post which is provided with a reverse flow barrier according to the invention. Fig. 2 shows a central section through the non-return valve.
In the welding post shown in Fig. 1, a welding torch 1 is fed through a supply line 2, a shut-off valve 3, a pressure regulator 4 and a manometer 5, and 6 oxygen through a movable hose. Acetylene is supplied to the welding torch through a supply line 7, a shut-off valve 8, a pressure regulator 9 and a non-return valve 10 and through a movable hose 11. The shut-off valves are attached together on a fastening element 12.
The supply line 2 for oxygen should be connected to a feed line that leads to an oxygen center, which preferably consists of a number of oxygen containers, while the supply line 7 for acetylene should be connected to a feed line that is in direct connection with an acetylene generator or one Number of acetylene tanks is available.
As can be seen from Fig. 2, the backflow barrier is seen with a communicating with the supply line 7 inflow channel 13 ver, which leads into a valve chamber 14 which is provided on one wall with a sealing washer 15 with which a valve seat 16, which is suspended in a membrane 17, should work together.
On the side of the membrane that is opposite the side provided with your valve seat, there is a membrane chamber 18 in which a spring 19 is attached, which presses the valve seat 16 against the sealing washer 15. The valve seat 16 is formed on a membrane screw 20 which is provided with a channel 21. The hose 11 serving as a drainage line is via a Sehlauen-. Base 22 to the membrane chimney 18 closed.
As can be clearly seen from the drawing, one end of the: 1 membrane hood 20 forms an injector nozzle and the hose base 22 forms an injector sleeve.
If the fuel gas, for example acetylene, is admitted through the inlet channel 13 to the non-return valve, but no acetylene is flowing through the same, since the acetylene valve on the welding torch is closed, the seat 16 is actuated by the spring 19 with a certain initial force against the sealing disc 15 pressed. This spring force.
must be so great that only the initial force creates a secure seal between parts 16 and 15 against a backflow of oxygen, which is caused by clogging in the mouthpiece channel of the welding torch or by valve and pressure regulator leakage under the influence of its high pressure from the welding torch through the tube 11 for the non-return valve. Perfect density is generally also neces sary when the oxygen in relation to the pressure in the chamber 14 has such a slight overpressure that this back pressure on the membrane cannot significantly contribute to the sealing force between the parts 16 and 15 increase.
Since the diaphragm spring has to be chosen vigorously in order to be able to guarantee density, if a forward flow of acetylene does not take place, this has the consequence that the previously existing non-return valves, in which the injector is missing, also significantly increases the normal flow Oppose some resistance. When the acetylene flows in the intended direction through the non-return valve according to Fig. 2,
As a result of the suction of the injector in the diaphragm chamber 18, a certain pressure is created which acts against the spring force, so that the valve seat 16 is now influenced by a considerably reduced initial force. The spring relief increases the stroke height of the diaphragm considerably, and there is a significantly lower flow resistance.
The main resistance in the apparatus will no longer occur between the seat and the sealing washer, but in the channel 21 of the perforated membrane screwa. Tests have shown that you can get less resistance in an apparatus with an injector and a channel 21 with a diameter of 3 mm than in the same apparatus without an injector and with a channel 21 with a diameter of 6 mm.
This reduced resistance in the non-return valve has the consequence, among other things, that the pressure in the supply line 7 does not need to be so high in order to nevertheless be able to achieve the required pressure in the welding torch. The supply line 7 can therefore be fed directly from a low pressure acetylene generator for example.
The reduced resistance in the non-return valve also makes it possible to allow a greater pressure drop in the pressure regulator 9, so that it works under a greater influence of force and one has the considerable advantage that if several gas welding or gas cutting posts according to FIG. 1 of the same feed lines for oxygen respectively. Acetylene are fed, starting or shutting off one welding or cutting post does not affect the function of the other post.
In the known non-return valves, the force of the spring influencing the diaphragm must be overcome by means of a difference between the gas pressures in the chambers on each side of the diaphragm created by throttling between the valve seat and the sealing washer, so that the Sil.z can even lift off the sealing washer can.
But a large pressure difference results in a small required through-hole for a certain amount of gas, which in this case means that the seat only rises very little from the sealing washer when small amounts of gas flow through the apparatus, and the larger the channel the diaphragm screw, the smaller this lifting height is. When the acetylene flows through the apparatus and the membrane floats freely, the membrane is in a very unstable position of equilibrium. Perhaps it is constantly in very small periodic movements.
If the lifting height is then very small, these small movements will vary the flow area between the seat and the sealing washer so much that the pressure difference between the chambers on each side of the diaphragm is periodically changed to such great values that the diaphragm vibrates audibly is moved. The device "hums" and the gas flows through it in bursts.
When the acetylene consumption increases, the vibrations stop as the lifting height increases. These vibrations can be eliminated even with very small amounts of acetylene if the channel in the membrane screw is dimensioned small enough. In this case, however, there is great resistance in the apparatus with large amounts of acetylene, which is a major disadvantage, especially if the apparatus is attached to a low-pressure line.
In the non-return valve according to the present invention, on the other hand, as mentioned, the membrane is raised higher; there are no vibrations and no humming noise, and the gas flows smoothly through the non-return valve. The last mentioned circumstance in particular is of essential importance in welding operations.
The invention should not be regarded as being restricted to the embodiment described here and illustrated in the drawing, since the invention can be used in devices of the type in question and for different purposes, which are embodied in various ways and are provided with membrane control .
For example, several membranes and / or several injectors can be present in the apparatus, as well as several valve bodies in the same apparatus can each be influenced by their own or by a common membrane. The spring loading the membrane can be replaced by weights, medium pressure or the like.
According to FIG. 2, the membrane screw is provided with a through channel, but this channel could instead run outside the perimeter of the membrane through the housing of the barrier and to the membrane chamber 18, the injector for lowering the pressure could be arranged in the diaphragm chamber in any other suitable manner.
