Description

Slot insulation for electrical machines. It is known to line the slots of electrical machines with sleeves made of insulating material. The insulating material used is preferably pressboard, enameled linen, micanite or the like. Slot insulation of this type does not have particularly high thermal stability, with the exception of micanite but for whom the procurement of the mica makes difficulties

The invention has the task of creating a thermally resistant Nutisola and thermally resistant Nutisola tion that is equal to the micanite.

According to the invention, the Nutisola tion consists of a carrier material with glued-on glass film layers. The carrier material can consist of paper or fabric. If you lay. value for high thermal strength, then one uses with advantage inorganic paper and tissue, z. B. glass fabric, and highly heat-resistant binders, e.g. B.

heat-resistant synthetic resins or inorganic binders. The invention is to be explained in more detail with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in FIGS.

1 shows a groove sleeve with a U-shaped profile, the walls of which consist of two paper layers: 1 and a stack of glass film parts 2 lying in between. The single ones. Parts are firmly connected to one another by adhesive varnish or the like and brought into the U-shape by pressing and heating.

Fig. 2 shows essentially the same embodiment, but here the edges of the sleeve are hammered.

In Fig. 3, a closed sleeve is shown. . Under certain circumstances, as FIG. 4 shows, the interior of the sleeve can be divided into individual winding spaces by U-shaped inserts.

The invention enables the production of a high-quality slot insulation which is equal to the micanite and which is produced without difficulty at least partially from domestic glass that is available in sufficient quantities.
