Gefriereinrichtung.
Freezer. It is known to be used for rapid cooling and freezing of goods such. B. food with or without a pack, these BEZW with the cold releasing body. to bring directly into contact with several such bodies, for the purpose of leading the heat to be withdrawn from the goods as quickly as possible and thus the cooling respectively. To accelerate the freezing process. The cold release the body are usually designed as plates, between which the goods to be treated inserted respectively. is pressed in.
The plates have cooling channels for the refrigerant to flow through.
Remarks have shown that aluminum and its alloys are best suited as the material for the contact surfaces, because these metals, in addition to a relatively good coefficient of thermal conductivity, least with the refrigerated or frozen goods. its pack freeze together. Damage to the goods and the package is therefore best avoided when using contact surfaces made of aluminum or its alloys.
The cooling and freezing plates built so far in recognition of this fact are made entirely of aluminum with cast or incorporated flow channels for the cooling medium. The disadvantage of this design is that not all cooling media or cooling media can be used because of the corrosive effects on aluminum. Plates made entirely of aluminum are also very expensive, both in terms of machining and procurement of materials.
The invention relates to a Gefrierein direction, in particular for quick cooling and freezing of food, with at least one of the frozen food touching, provided with cooling channels for the heat-accumulating refrigerant and consists in that the plate has an aluminum at least as a component of contact surface for has the item to be treated, but the cooling channels are formed by another material that is more resistant to the effects of the refrigerant.
This is while maintaining the beneficial effect of the contact surface made of aluminum BEZW. Aluminum alloy enables the following advantages to be achieved: a) Use of the so-called contact cooling or freezing process for all coolants and refrigerants, b) cheaper material procurement and e) cheaper production at all because of the significantly simplified manufacture.
Some embodiments of the subject invention are shown schematically in the drawing.
In the first example, of which Fig. I shows the section and Fig. 2 shows the plan, 1 is the aluminum or aluminum alloyed plate forming the contact surface for the material to be treated, 2 is a pipe spiral placed on top of the cooling channels , e.g. B. made of iron or steel, for the flow of refrigerant, such as ammonia, 3 of the inlet and 4 of the outlet nozzle for the refrigerant. 5 is a pouring compound, expediently made of a fusible link with a low melting point.
which establishes the metallic connection of the cooling channels 2 with the contact plate 1 and a good heat or. Allowing cold flow from the cooling channels to the contact plate 1, the melting point of the solder being below that of the parts to be connected.
Fig. 3, 4 and 5 show Ausführungsbei games with aluminum-plated iron or metal sheet as the contact surface bil Dende plate. The aluminum layer 7 is on the iron or. Sheet metal 6 angeord net. In FIG. 3, the cooling channels are formed by round tubes 2, while in FIG. 4 semicircular tubes 8, in FIG. 5 tubes 9 with a rectangular cross section are provided. All these tubes, which are arranged on the non-clad sheet metal side, are in turn connected to the contact plate 6, 7 through the pouring metal 5.
This solution can be advantageous if tin or tin alloy is used as the pouring compound. The direct connection of tin with aluminum is not recommended because of the mutual corrosive effects. Instead of the drawn pipe profiles, of course, other profiles such. B. flat, oval tubes, triangular tubes, square tubes etc. can be used.
The tube profiles shown in Fig. 4 and 5 have the purpose of achieving the largest possible contact surface time of the plate forming the contact surface.
6 shows the example of a plate made of non-aluminum which is formed directly from rectangular channels 9, the contact surface of which with the material to be treated is formed by an aluminum layer 10 applied by the spraying process. Of course, other tube profiles, such as flat, round or half-tubes, etc., can also be used analogously here.
A further embodiment of cooling channels formed into a plate with a sprayed-on aluminum layer is shown in FIG. 7. Flat round tubes 50 are used as cooling channels, which are connected to one another by welds 54 or by welded or soldered connecting webs 55.
If an absolutely flat contact surface with the refrigerated goods is to be obtained, then the separation point between two tubes must be smoothed out by applying metal and then applying the aluminum afterwards. If, however, the round bottle tubes 50 are so wide that their smooth part corresponds at least to the external dimensions of the item to be treated, then there is no need to fill the parting line. Depressions 52 are then created in the contact surface along the duct separating joint.
According to FIG. 8, the flow channels 3 for the coolant, which consist of non-aluminum, have been encapsulated by aluminum or an aluminum alloy 11 by the casting process.
9 shows an embodiment in which the cooling channels are formed by welding or soldering webs 12 onto the aluminum-plated sheet metal 7, 6 forming the contact surface and welding or soldering cover plates 13 to the webs. The attachment of the cover plate 13 on the webs can be carried out by spot welds 14, for example.
According to Fig. 10 and 11, cooling channels can also be welded or soldered on by profile iron, for. B. U-iron 14 or angle iron 15, on the aluminum-plated sheet metal plate 7, 6 which forms the contact surface.
Fig. 12 shows a section through a freezer with a built-in plate pair 16, 17. The lower plate 16 of the plates arranged one above the other sits firmly on the housing base 18. The upper plate 17 is movable in the vertical direction and allows the distance between the facing contact areas to match the thickness of the goods 27 to be inserted. The refrigerant enters the lower plate 16 through the supply line 22, leaves it through the line 23 and reaches the upper plate 17 via the helically wound supply line 24.
The coolant is conducted away from this plate 17 through the helically wound outlet line 25 to the outlet nozzle 26. The two helically wound connecting lines 24 and 25 are wound in opposite directions in order to avoid a torque on the upper cooling or freezing plate 17 and to achieve a straight guidance of the upper plate. This makes special guides superfluous, which would only give rise to malfunctions at the low temperatures that prevail in such an apparatus.
The lifting of the upper plate 17 for the purpose of inserting or removing the goods to be treated 27 can, as shown, by a cable 29, which engages in the middle of a fastening tab 28 on castors 30 and 30 'by means of a handle 31 or the like be made. Of course, other lifting devices can also be used. That the freezer around giving, expediently. insulated Ge housing 18 has a charging opening 20, which is closed with insulating cover 21 who can.
Several plates or pairs of plates can be placed one above the other in the same container. In this case, with the exception of a single plate, all of the rest are to be made movable for the purpose of loading the device. Such an embodiment is shown in section in FIG. 13 and in plan view in FIG. This device has three plates 32, 33 and 34, of which, for example, the lower plate 32 is firmly anchored to the housing 35. The mobility of the plates 33 and 34 is ensured by the tubular springs 39, 40, 42 and 43, which are built into the connec tion lines between the individual plat th.
The coolant enters the plate 32, for example, through the line 37, leaves it through the line 38 and enters the plate 33 via the Bourdon tube 39, leaves it through the Bourdon tube 40 and flows via the connecting line 41 and the Bourdon tube 42 to the top plate 34, which it leaves via the Bourdon tube 43 and the outlet line 44. The cooling plates and the Bourdon tubes are enclosed by an insulating housing 35, which bezw for loading. Removal of cooling resp. Frozen food with a closable opening 36 is provided.
To raise and lower the movable plates 33 and 34, any lifting device, not shown, is to be attached.
It has proven to be useful to humidify the air in the freezer in order to avoid impairment of the goods to be treated by excessively dry air. Practice has shown that just inserting pieces of ice into the device causes an effective improvement. According to FIGS. 15, 16 and 17, the edge of the plate 7, 6, which faces downwards with the contact surface, can now be raised in such a way that a shell arises, in which water or another freezable or unfreezable liquid is filled, so a liquid sump can be formed.
This liquid, even if it freezes during operation, then causes the desired air humidification.
The cooling channels 9 arranged in FIG. 18 on the plate 1 forming the contact surface are guided in such a way that the most intensive cooling effect is achieved at the points of greatest heat incidence. In the case of plate 1, the greatest incidence of heat occurs at the edge of the plate. The incoming, coldest and therefore most effective refrigerant will first flow through the inlet connector 3 through the plate edge 9 and flow away through the refrigerant outlet connector 4.
Plate apparatuses according to the invention can thus be retrofitted in any refrigeration system that reaches the required low temperatures, in that the building material of the plate can be adapted to the existing cooling medium or refrigerant, while maintaining the aluminum contact surface.
