Gasturbinenanlage.
Gas turbine plant. In the gas turbine system according to the patent claim of the main patent, which has at least one power turbine, at least one compressor turbine operating on a special shaft and an intermediate heater between the two turbines, air is extracted from the compressor from at least one intermediate stage. and fed between the two turbines.
In Figure 1 of the main patent it is only indicated that the air withdrawn from the compressor is fed to the intermediate heater without indicating whether it acts as combustion air or cooling air in it. The present invention relates to a very specific use of the air withdrawn from the compressor in the intermediate burner.
According to the invention, at least part of the amount of air branched off from the compressor is fed to the intermediate heater as combustion air, while the remaining part and also the exhaust gases from the turbine upstream of the intermediate heater are mixed as cooling air with the intermediate heater gases.
After this, the combustion air for the burner of the intermediate heater is supplied by the Kümpressorabzweigluft, which is advantageous because this air, in contrast to the turbine exhaust gases, is free of combustion products.
The accompanying schematic drawing relates to an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. In the figure, 1 denotes the compressor, 2 a heat exchanger, 3 the main combustion chamber, 4 the power turbine, 5 the intermediate heater, 6 the compressor turbine and 7 the power machine (e.g. an electrical power generator).
The exhaust gases from the turbine 4, which can, however, still contain a large excess of air, serve as a coolant in the intermediate heater 5, which is mixed with the intermediate combustion gases. The admixture can take place inside or outside the intermediate heater.
The figure shows the mixing point at the end of the intermediate heater. Some of the air drawn from the compressor is fed into the burner of the intermediate heater via a line 101 as combustion air, while a remainder is fed via a line 102 and also the exhaust gases from the turbine 4 via line 13 as a coolant to the combustion gases of the intermediate heater 5 and mixed with the same at the end of the intermediate heater.
The branch air is preheated before entering the intermediate heater 5 by exchange with part of the exhaust gases in a pre-warmer 14 by a part of the exhaust gases from the turbine 6 is fed through a line 15 to the preheater 14 and escapes through a line 16, while the main part the exhaust gas takes its way through the heat from Lauscher 2.
The division of the air into a combustion air and cooling air part enables a second type of fuel control: Instead of influencing the fuel quantity through a valve 11, the inlet cross section of the fuel supply line can be kept constant, and the sucked in fuel quantity by means of a more or less large suction effect Combustion air can be regulated. For this purpose, the combustion air speed is influenced, which can be done by regulating a valve in the additional air or combustion air line, which changes the ratio of combustion air to additional air.
This is advantageously done by regulating a valve 12 in the combustion air line 101, which is influenced by the controller 8. A corresponding regulation is indicated in the figure on the main burner by a valve 18 which is influenced by the controller 8 and is located in the additional air line 172 which leads to the combustion air line 171. However, a direct fuel line (valves 9 and 11 actuated by the controller 8) or a combined fuel and fuel air control could also be provided.
Since the amount of air diverted from the compressor increases at partial load, the combustion air speed would increase by opening the valve 12 and, during the intake process, the amount of fuel would increase, and thus the temperature in front of the turbine 6 would increase. This can be prevented by branching off part of the branch air via the line 102 and using it as cooling air.
There are thus various possibilities, with the help of the branching in connection with the intermediate heating, both the power ratio of the turbines 4 and 6 and the temperature in front of the turbine 6 as a function of the load. to be able to set as desired.
The invention can be used in all gas turbine systems which have a compressor which is driven by a turbine on a shaft that is separate from the power source and whose speed changes when the output changes.
