Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Maschine nach der Erfindung ist auf beiliegender Zeich nung dargestellt, in welcher Fig. 1 die Maschine im senkrechten Schnitt nach Linie I-I in Fig. 2 darstellt; Fig. 2 ist ein Aufriss und Fig. ä eine Seitenansicht der Maschine; Fig. 4 zeigt in grösserem Massstab und in senkrechtem Schnitt die Vorrichtung, welche der Lunte die Drehung erteilt;
Method for spinning fibers and machine for carrying out the method. Previously, pre-spinning was mostly done on flyers that put the web on bobbins. The flyer drive mechanism is complicated, it includes gear gears for rotating the bobbins, gear gears for rotating the spindles, differential gears, carriage return gears, cones for regulating the thread tension while changing the bobbin diameter, etc.
The present invention relates to a method for pre-spinning fibers, in which no bobbins are required, and a machine for carrying out this method, which is characterized by great simplicity compared to the flyers.
According to the method according to the invention, the sliver coming from a drafting device is laid in a spiral shape in layers with wire being provided in such a way that a package of yarn is built up from the layers lying one above the other.
The machine according to the invention for carrying out the process according to the invention has a drafting system, a device which gives the rotation of the sliver coming from the drafting system, and a guide element which places the rotated sliver in spiral-shaped, superimposed layers on a rotating base.
An embodiment of the machine according to the invention is shown on the accompanying drawing voltage, in which Fig. 1 shows the machine in vertical section along line I-I in Fig. 2; Figure 2 is an elevation and Figure 6 is a side view of the machine; 4 shows, on a larger scale and in vertical section, the device which gives the fuse the rotation;
Fig. 5 is a section on line V-V in Fig. 4; Fig. 6 is a section on the line VI-VI in Fig. 5; Fig. 7 shows the spirally wound sliver in a plan view on a larger scale, and Fig. 8 shows schematically the drive of the base for the package.
As can be seen from Fig. 2, the present roving machine has a whole number of spinning stations arranged next to one another; In the following, only one of the parts is to be described, provided it is not a question of parts common to all spinning stations, the others are the same in structure and mode of operation.
On top of the machine frame 1 there is a normal drafting system 2, the cylinders of which are driven by the main drive shaft 3 via schematically indicated numbered gears 4, whereby the gears stored in a so-called scissors 6 are replaced and the gears are replaced by the The wire of the fuse can be changed in another pair of scissors 5 mounted gears.
From the drafting system, the fuse 7 passes through a guide funnel 8 into a vertical tube 9 which is rotatably supported by means of ball bearings in a bank 10 and with the intermediary of an outer tube 12 in a bearing arm 11 fixed to the frame 1. The tube 9 is axially displaceable ver in the outer tube 12, but rotates with the latter. The drive takes place via belt pulley 13 and belt 14 from the main drive shaft 3. By rotating the tubes 9 and 12, the wire is given to the fuse.
At the lower end of the tube 12 sits a disk 15 in which a radial slot 16 inclined to the right is provided. 1.ällgs of this slot 16 is a guide organ 17 for the fuse back and forth ver slidable. The fuse 7 kicks in. through an opening 18 of the tube 12 to the guide element 17.
The wire-provided fuse is not wound onto a spool, but rather laid in layers in a spiral in such a way that a yarn body is built up from the layers on top of one another. For this purpose, there is a hollow cylinder 19 below the disk 15, for example made of wood or a plastic, which is inserted in an exchangeable manner in vain sleeve 20 by means of a bayonet catch 21, 21a. A plate 23 under the action of a spring 22 forms the lower end of the hollow cylinder 19.
The pin 21a of the bayonet lock prevents the hollow cylinder 19 from lowering and the plate 23 from rising at the same time , 29 rotated by 180 who can. About the pulley:
30 and the belt 31, the sleeve 20 with the hollow cylinder 19 is set in rotation, as shown in Fig. 8 schematically. a one ziger belt 31 is provided for the pulleys 30 of all adjacent hollow cylinders of the individual spinning stations, which belt runs over guide roller 32 and a tension roller 33 to drive pulley 34.
The latter receives its drive fully from the main drive shaft 3 via the bevel gear pair 35, the transverse shaft 36, the cone 37, the belt 38, the cone 39, the transverse shaft 40 and the bevel gear pair 41.
On the bearing arms 24, 25, a second sleeve 20 'with a hollow cylinder 19' is rotatably mounted in the ready position. By turning the arms by 180 by means of the hand wheel 27, the cylinder 19 in the operative position and the cylinder 19 'in the ready position swap their positions.
In the hollow cylinder 19 there is a movable, piston-like bottom 42, which has a plush covering 42 'on all sides. The fuse 7 reaching the upper phish coating is pulled by the plush due to the difference in speed between the rotation of the hollow cylinder 19 and the disk 15 and placed on the floor 42 in a spiral shape by the guide member 17. It is necessary. that the speed of rotation of the hollow cylinder 19 changes continuously and the position of the guide member 17 is adapted to avoid warping or jamming of the fuse or. to keep the thread tension constant.
The back and forth movement of the guide member 17 is derived from an up and down movement of the bench 10. For this purpose, the latter is guided on vertical bolts 43 which are fixedly mounted on the machine frame 1. Furthermore, double-armed levers 44 are pivotably mounted on the frame 1, one end of which carries a roller 45 acting on the bench 10 from below, while the roller 16 provided at the other end of the lever interacts with a cam disk 47.
The cams 47 sit on a shaft 48 which is driven via a Schneckenge gear 49 from a vertical shaft 50, which in turn receives its drive via a pair of helical gears 51 from the first pair of cylinders of the drafting system 2 seen from the outlet of the fuse.
The up and down movement of the bench 10 and the pipe 9 moving with it is guided on the guide element 17 via the angle lever 52, which is rotatably mounted on a bolt guided in a longitudinal slot of the pipe 12 and firmly seated in the pipe 9 (Fug 5), the links 53 and 54 and the pin 57, which slides in a slot 55 of a bolt 56 and is fastened to one arm of the angle lever 52, and thus a reciprocating movement of the guide member 17 along the slot 16 of the disk 15 is achieved . The inclination of the guide member 17 (Fug. 6) relative to the vertical facilitates the orderly laying of the fuse.
So that the sliver 7 is laid in flat layers in a spiral shape at the outlet speed from the guide element 17, the hollow cylinder 19, which receives the yarn layers, has to constantly adapt its rotational speed to the position of the guide element 17. For this purpose, the belt 38 of the cone gear 37, 39 is moved axially back and forth to the cones by means of a cam disk 58 with which a roller 59 cooperates. The rail 59 is mounted on a longitudinally displaceable GE superimposed rod 60 on which the rod 61 with the belt forks 62 and 63 sits. A spring 64 presses the roller 59 against the cam disk 58.
The cam 58 is seated on a shaft 65 which is driven via the bevel gear pair 66 by the same shaft 50 that also drives the cam 47.
The operation of the machine described Ma is as follows: In the drafting system, the roving receives the desired draft and in the subsequent device for wire production with the tube 9, the required rotation. The speed of rotation of the hollow cylinder 19 is different from that of the disc 15, for example such that the hollow cylinder slightly leads the guide member 17 rotating with the disc 15 and thus the rotated fuse 7 under the effect of its friction with the plush covering in the first position or. with the topmost thread layer is deducted from the other layers.
The speed at which the guide member 17 moves in the slot 16 of the disc 15 and the speed of rotation of the hollow cylinder 19 are matched to one another in such a way that the fuse is placed in a spiral shape, as illustrated in FIG. 7. The yarn body is built up from the superimposed layers. To the extent that the layers increase, the base, the floor 42, is pushed in the hollow cylinder 19 downwards.
If the hollow cylinder 19 is full, the previously in standby hollow cylinder 19 'is rotated into the operative position under the disc 15 by turning the hand wheel 27, and this is done for all cylinders 19' of the machine together. It is thus possible to replace the hollow cylinder without interrupting operation.
If it becomes necessary to make a check of the yarn layers in one of the hollow cylinders 19, the hollow cylinder 19 in question is rotated relative to the sleeve 20 so that the bayonet locking pin passes from the lower horizontal slot part into the area of the vertical slot part 21; then the hollow cylinder is pressed downward against the Fe of 22 and rotated to bring the bolt with the upper horizontal slot part in engagement. This creates free space between the disk 15 and the upper edge of the hollow cylinder 19.
The roving machine described has the following advantages over the known flyers: The machine is running because there are few Zalinracl gearboxes. almost noiseless, can work at higher speeds and therefore results in increased production; no bobbins are needed and the weight of a package is much greater than that of the fiber mass on a bobbin:
therefore, fewer spare parts are necessary in the further processing of the material and the fuse has to be used less frequently, which enables personnel savings.
Furthermore, the hollow body 19 can be converted very quickly. The fibers emit less dust because the slivers appear shortly after leaving the drafting system; move in closed tubes and from there get into the hollow cylinder; the accumulation of short fibers in the wings, which causes a large number of fuses in flyers. is avoided.
By @@ Tegfall a large number of gears. Differential gears. Coils dare ete. becomes the driving force. reduced compared to a flver.
Once the machine has been set correctly, it hardly needs a new setting later if there are not too large changes in the number of the slot, so that no additional corrections are necessary when changing the slot number or fluctuations in the humidity or temperature of the room. I am at the transition from fine to coarse lot numbers; It is advisable to make a correction by exchanging the two cams 47 and 58.
The construction of the thread formed from superimposed layers could also take place without the aid of a wood cutter; for example, a central guide rod could be sufficient, from which the formed package would then have to be stripped.
Instead of the vorbesehriebenen mechanical means for driving the sleeves 20 and hollow cylinder 19, the drive could also be done electrically, namely the cylinders can be driven in groups or individually.
