Umsteuerbare, aufgeladene Zweitaktbr ennkraftmaschine.
Reversible, supercharged two-stroke internal combustion engine. The invention relates to a non-controllable, supercharged two-stroke internal combustion engine and is characterized by a supercharger, working according to the displacement principle, coupled to the two-stroke engine, and an exhaust gas turbine detachably connected to the two-stroke engine via a transmission.
The releasable clutch can be released by the control device of the engine in order to control and the exhaust gases can be guided into the exhaust line during the control process and in reverse gear through a shunt. A braking device can be provided on the turbine shaft, which prevents the turbine bank from burning through during the reversing process and the reverse gear of the machine.
A fluid coupling can be provided as the brake, which is designed in such a way that it cannot under any circumstances be completely drained. In addition, a switchover flap can be provided, which closes off an overflow line when the gear is in reverse and closes the access to the exhaust turbine when the gear is in reverse. This switchover flap can be arranged in such a way that the overflow line is completed when the forward gear is turned, and the exhaust gases from the turbine housing are closed when the reverse gear is used.
The cross section of the overflow line can be roughly the same as the entire inlet cross section of the exhaust gas turbine.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically in the drawing.
The two-stroke engine 1 drives an air compressor 2 via the shaft 3. The air compressor can be designed as a piston compressor or capsule blower. The displacement effect on the gas is common to both types of construction. The air line 4 leads air from the compressor 2 to the two-stroke engine 1. The exhaust line 5 leads to the exhaust gas turbine 6 with the turbine housing 12, whose 'shaft 7 is connected to the cure belwelle 3 by a gear 9, 8.
Between the gas turbine 6 and the transmission 9, a Föttinger clutch 10, 11 is arranged. The Föttinger coupling 10, 11 is designed in such a way that it is disengaged when the oil is drained. : which flows, for example, through the line 13 into the coupling half 10. cannot empty completely. The disengagement of the coupling is achieved by means of a lever 14 mounted in FIG. 15 and by a rod 16 connected to a lever 17 mounted in FIG. 18, in which the member - 19 releases the channel 20, so that liquid can run off.
If the lever 14 is in the position shown in dashed lines, the channel 20 is closed.
The releasable coupling 10, 11 can be released when the motor 1 is reversed from the input control device: by draining its liquid content.
The exhaust gases can during the reversing process and in reverse gear through a Nebenscblull, 22 into the exhaust pipe 23 or into the open. The shunt 22 can be shut off by an element 21 (changeover flap), with the exhaust gases flowing into the exhaust line 23 when the machine is going backwards or into the open air through the shunt 22, and when the machine is moving forward, it flows directly into the turbine 6.
The actuation of the switching flap 21 can also be used. be connected to the university control device.
When the Bi@en.n "toffcs is withdrawn or when the reversing mechanism (lever 14) is actuated, the 01 is released from the coupling 10, 11 so that the connection between the turbine 6 and the molor 1. When the engine 1 is started backwards, the turbine 6 would now burn out, since it does not deliver any torque.
This is prevented by constructing the Föttinger coupling 10, 11 in such a way that it can never completely empty itself when the oil is drained. The turbine 6 will now rotate in the opposite direction of the motor 1 and will, on the one hand, have a braking effect on the motor. On the other hand, however, it is prevented from burning through. The engine 1 can no longer deliver its full power because it lacks the additional power of the turbine 6, which brakes.
In most cases, however, half the engine output is sufficient for driving backwards.
Before the gases enter the exhaust gas turbine, a switchover valve can be provided. which at the moment of switching to reverse gear lets the exhaust gases escape into the exhaust line and prevents them from entering the exhaust gas turbine. The overflow line and the seat of the flaps can be water-cooled. The cross-section of the overflow line can be dimensioned as large as the total cross-section of the exhaust gas turbine, for the purpose of maintaining the same charge level as with forward gear, even in reverse gear.
The L mschaltklappe can also be arranged behind the turbine 6 and in its one setting the unimpeded over occurs from the line 5 via the bypass line \ ?? shut off in the exhaust line 23, iii the other position shut off the exit of the gases from the exhaust gas turbine housing. This solution has the advantage that the flap operates at a lower temperature than in the first-mentioned case.
