Taschen-Zahnbürste. Gegensand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Taschenzahnbürste, bei welcher der Handgriff derart ausgebildet und angeordnet ist, dass er bei Nichtgebrauch der Bürste in eine solche Lage gegenüber dem Bürsten körper gebracht werden kann, in der die Bürste weniger Raum beansprucht als im Ge brauchszustand.
In der Zeichnung sind drei beispielsweise Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegen standes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 ein erstes Ausführungsbeispiel in einer Seitenansicht, Fig. 2 ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel im Längsschnitt, Fig. 3 das zweite Ausführungsbeispiel mit eingeschwenktem Handgriff, Fig. 4 das dritte Ausführungsbeispiel im Längsschnitt in Nichtgebrauchslage, und Fig. 5 das dritte Ausführungsbeispiel mit dem Handgriff in Gebrauchslage.
In dem ersten Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig.1 bezeichnet 1 den mit den Borsten 2 be setzten Bürstenrücken. 3 bezeichnet den Hand- griff, der um einen Bolzen 4 nach Art der Glie der eines Gliedermassstabes in die strichpunk tierte Stellung verschwenkt werden kann, in welcher er nur wenig über den eigentlichen Bürstenkörper 1, 2.
vorsteht und die Zahnbürste bei Nichtgebrauch deshalb leicht in kleinem Raume, zum Beispiel in einer Rock-, Hosen- oder Gilet-Tasche untergebracht werden kann, und zwar zweckmässig in einer kleinen Kapsel oder dergleichen.
Im zweiten Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 2 und 3 bezeichnet wieder 1 den mit den Borsten 2 besetzten Bürstenrücken und 3 den Handgriff. Dieser ist um eine Drehachse 4 verschwenkbar gelagert und im übrigen als hohler Deckel ausgebildet. In der einge schwenkten Stellung des Handgriffes (Fig. 3) werden die Borsten 2 von diesem allseitig umschlossen, so dass der Handgriff zusam men mit dem Bürstenrücken zugleich als Verschlusskapsel beim Nichtgebrauch der Zahnbürste dient. Die Borsten sind dabei während des Aufbewahrens der Bürste wirk sam vor Staub und Schmutz geschützt.
Eine in jeder Seitenlängswand des Hohldeckels bezw. Handgriffes vorgesehene Ausnehmung 5 ermöglicht das Erfassen des Bürstenrückens auch bei der verkapselten Bürste und erleich tert dadurch das Abheben des Deckels vom Bürstenrücken.
Auch beim dritten Ausführungbei.izpiel nach Fig. 4 und 5 bezeichnet wieder: 1 den mit Borsten 2 besetzten Bürstenrücken und 3 den mit je einer Ausnehmung 5 in jeder Längsseitenw and versehenen, als hohler Dek- kel ausgebildeten Handgriff.
Im Gegensatz zu dem Ausführungsbei spiel nach Fig. 2 und 3 ist der Handgriff hier nicht am Bürstenrücken verschwenkbar an geordnet, sondern vollständig abnehmbar aus gebildet. Fig. 4 zeigt die Zahnbürste mit über die Borsten 2 geschobenem, auf den Bürsten rücken 1 aufgestecktem Handgriff, in welcher Stellung er als Versehlussdeckel dient. Soll die Zahnbürste in Gebrauch genommen wer den, so wird der Deckel einfach von dem Bürstenrücken abgezogen und neuerdings von der andern, den Borsten gegenüberliegenden Seite her auf den Bürstenflicken gesteckt, wie dies Fig. 5 erkennen lässt.
In dieser Stel lung dient der Deckel als Handgriff für die Zahnbürste.
Für die Herstellung der vorstehend be schriebenen Taschenzahnbürsten eignet sich jedes heute schon für Zahnbürsten benutzte Material, R4e Horn, Elfenbein, Iiunstpress- stoff, Bakelit ete. Es ist aber auch möglich, sowohl für den Handgriff wie auch für den Bürstenrücken einen andern zweckentspre chenden Baustoff, zum Beispiel ein Leicht metall, nichtrostender Stahl oder dergleichen zu verwenden. Auch ist es denkbar, den Handgriff statt etwa wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, teleskopartig ausziehbar auszubilden,
oder statt wie in Fig. 1 nur eingliedrig, zwei- oder mehr gliedrig zusammenlegbar zu gestalten.
Pocket toothbrush. The subject of the present invention is a pocket toothbrush in which the handle is designed and arranged in such a way that when the brush is not in use it can be brought into such a position relative to the brush body in which the brush takes up less space than in the state of use.
The drawing shows three exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, namely: Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment in a side view, Fig. 2 shows a second embodiment in longitudinal section, Fig. 3 shows the second embodiment with the handle pivoted in, Fig. 4 shows the third Embodiment in longitudinal section in the non-use position, and FIG. 5 shows the third embodiment with the handle in the position of use.
In the first embodiment of Figure 1, 1 denotes the bristle 2 be set brush back. 3 denotes the handle, which can be pivoted around a bolt 4 in the manner of the link of a folding rule into the dashed and dotted position, in which it is only slightly above the actual brush body 1, 2.
protrudes and the toothbrush when not in use can therefore easily be accommodated in a small space, for example in a skirt, trouser or gilet pocket, and in fact conveniently in a small capsule or the like.
In the second embodiment according to FIGS. 2 and 3, 1 again denotes the back of the brush covered with the bristles 2 and 3 denotes the handle. This is mounted pivotably about an axis of rotation 4 and is otherwise designed as a hollow cover. In the pivoted position of the handle (Fig. 3), the bristles 2 are enclosed by this on all sides, so that the handle together with the back of the brush also serves as a closure capsule when the toothbrush is not in use. The bristles are effectively protected from dust and dirt while the brush is being stored.
One in each side wall of the hollow cover BEZW. The recess 5 provided for the handle enables the back of the brush to be grasped even with the encapsulated brush and thereby facilitates the lifting of the lid from the back of the brush.
Also in the third embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5, 1 denotes the back of the brush with bristles 2 and 3 the handle designed as a hollow cover, which is provided with a recess 5 in each longitudinal side wall.
In contrast to the Ausführungsbei game according to FIGS. 2 and 3, the handle is not arranged on the back of the brush pivotable, but formed completely removable. Fig. 4 shows the toothbrush with the handle pushed over the bristles 2 and slipped onto the brush back 1, in which position it serves as a closure lid. If the toothbrush is to be used, the cover is simply pulled off the back of the brush and recently placed on the brush patch from the other side opposite the bristles, as can be seen in FIG.
In this position, the lid serves as a handle for the toothbrush.
Any material already used for toothbrushes today, such as R4e horn, ivory, plastic, Bakelite, is suitable for the production of the pocket toothbrushes described above. But it is also possible to use another appropriate building material, for example a light metal, stainless steel or the like, both for the handle and for the back of the brush. It is also conceivable to design the handle to be telescopic, instead of as shown in FIG. 1,
or instead of only one-part, two- or more-part collapsible as in FIG. 1.
