wobei grössere P.umktdichte grösserem Leitvermögen, also kleinerem spezifischen Widerstand entspricht.
Resistance for switching or control purposes. The invention relates to a counter stand for switching or control purposes with a resistance body having a current pick-up track for a movable current collector. According to the invention, the specific resistance of the body changes periodically and continuously, that is to say without a jump, along the current collection path.
Such a resistor advantageously replaces the contact rows of known tap changers for tap transformers or choke coils and the like. The places lower specific resistance or higher conductivity:
of the resistance body correspond to the contact blocks of step switches, the places of higher specific resistance the insulating intermediate layers. Due to the close connection of parts of different resistance and the constant transition between them, the formation of sparks at the transition points of known switching devices is made more difficult.
Three exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing. The resistance body w (Fig.1) has periodically changing specific resistance according to a continuous function. In the drawing, the resistance distribution is indicated by dots of different densities,
where the greater the point density corresponds to the greater the conductivity, i.e. the lower the specific resistance. At the better conducting points e, leads a are connected to the resistance body, which are connected to the winding d of a -stufendrosselspule. The! Pantograph s slides directly on the resistance body and alternately brushes the better conductive points e and the poorer conductive points i.
The conductivity of the points e can increase up to the conductor size of highly conductive metals, that is to say at least 25 Siemens. The connecting lines a can then be extended to the path of the current collector s according to FIGS. 2 to 3, and can be directly touched by it.
The specific resistance can increase so far at the points i that the points c are practically isolated from one another.
The resistance body does not have to be straight, but can form a closed circular ring according to FIG. 3. In this form it is also suitable as a commutator for electrical machines. Here, too, the specific resistance changes periodically and continuously along the circumference; it is the resistance ring, i.e. in the direction of the current collection path.
