Control arrangement designed for monitoring temperatures. The invention relates to a control arrangement intended for the monitoring of temperatures with two thermal elements that act on a control device for the control element: the heating source controlling Kontaktvo: rriehtung and of which: one of: d: he to be regulated Temperature and: the other is influenced by an auxiliary heater under the influence of some size.
According to the invention: the thermal elements are two bimetallic spirals, the BEZW of the temperature to be controlled. the aforementioned size caused twisting conditions are transferred to the contact device and, if the angle of twist is sufficiently large, temperature control will be effective.
In one embodiment, the arrangement can be made such that one end of the heated bimetallic spiral is connected to a rotary contact cooperating with the fixed counter-contact of the contact device and the other end is connected to one end of the other bimetal spiral via a rotatable Aehs @ e . According to one purpose, can. one a. heat-insulating housing of the heated bimetal spiral with the rotary contact and one end of this Bimetaljlispirale connect and rotatable la like.
In another embodiment, the contact device can consist of two rotary contacts: each of which is connected to one end of one of the bimetallic spirals via a rotatable axle.
In Figs. 1 to 3 of the drawing, three embodiments of a Regelanord arrangement for temperature monitoring of rooms heated by a heating system are shown.
The control arrangement according to FIG. 1 ent holds an outside thermostat 1, which consists of a bimetal strip 2, one of the contacts 3, 4 existing contact device 5 and a heating coil 6 is composed. This external thermostat 1, which is connected to the network <I> A, B </I> via a control resistor 7, also controls a heating winding 8 of a contact thermostat 10, the thermal effect of which is influenced by the b. Bimetallic spiral 9. The inner end <B> 1.1 </B> of this bimetal spiral 9 is via a:
rotatable shaft 12 is connected to a rotary contact 13 which works together with a fixed counter-contact 131. The outer end 14 of the bimetal spiral 9 is connected to the inner end 16 of the bimetal spiral 17 by means of the axis 15. The outer end 18 of the bimetal spiral 17 is riveted to a solid support part 19. The contact device 13, 131 is conductively connected via the power source 20 to a, for example, the draft air flap of the boiler influencing the control device 21.
The two bimetallic spirals 9, 17 are wound in such a way that in the cooling state the bimetallic spiral 9 is rotated clockwise and the bimetal spiral 17 is rotated in the opposite direction of the clockwise. These directions of rotation are identified in the figure by arrows and the designation "K" (cold). With regard to the external thermostat 1, the movement direction of the cooling metal strip 2 is indicated in the figure by an arrow and the designation "K".
In the position shown in the figure, the external thermostat 1 is located. the contact device 5 is in the closed position. The two heating coils 6, 8 who accordingly heated and the heat developed by these is on the associated bimetallic strips 2 BEZW. 9 act. If the contact thermostat 1 has reached a certain high temperature due to the heating of the heating coil 6, the bimetallic strip 2 will open the contact device 5.
The bimetallic strip 2 of the external thermostat 1 will thus cool down again, with the result that the contact device 5 is closed again after a certain time. In this way, an intermittent on and off switch of the two heating coils 6, 8 is enough, the ratio of on and off time is dependent on the respective weather conditions.
By switching the heating coil 8 on and off intermittently, the Bimetalls.pir@ale 9 of the contact thermostat 10 is adjusted clockwise during cooling and counterclockwise during heating. The consequence of this is that the contact device 13, 131 is opened in the former case and closed in the latter case. In a corresponding manner, the control device is de-energized and it stimulates and thus the furnace flap is either closed or opened.
The contact device 13, 131 is still operated by the bimetallic spiral 17 influenced by the water temperature. This actuation takes place via the axis 15, the bimetallic spiral 9, the axis 12 and the rotary contact 13.
When the water temperature drops below a certain value, the bimetal spira.le 17 is then rotated in the direction "K" shown. This rotation of the bimetallic spiral 17 4 whirls a rotation of the axis 15 of the bimetal spiral 9 and the rotary contact 13 in the counterclockwise direction, so that the contact device 13, 131 is closed.
The now excited Steuervor direction will then open the furnace door.
It is so here that the contact device 13, <B> 13, </B> is controlled by the two bimetal spirals 9, 17, which means that this control is dependent on the outside temperature as well as in Dependence on the water temperature, this contact device 13, 13, is also switched on and off intermittently.
The construction of the contact thermostat 10 described is relatively simple, since only two axes with two bearings each without any further transmission means are necessary for the action of the bimetallic spirals on the contact device. The axial connection between the two bimetal spirals also provides the advantage that the bimetal spirals can only be arranged with good thermal insulation from one another through a correspondingly long connecting axis.
The arrangement can also be equipped with thermal feedback without any particular difficulties. It is then only necessary to design the contact device as a switchover device and to equip it with a thermal feedback arrangement which controls it.
In the control arrangement according to FIG. 2, the contact device consists of two rotary contacts 23, 24 controlled by the two bimetallic spirals 9, 17. Furthermore, the external thermostat 1 is provided with an adjustment device 25. From Fig. 2 by arrows and associated designations "W" (warm) and "K" (cold) it can be seen that the bimetallic strip 2 len for cooling. Contact 4 and moved to contact 26 when heated.
The process in the external thermostat 1 takes place in a known manner such that the bimetallic strip 2 switches the two heating windings 6, 8 alternately on and off, the rhythm of the switching process being determined by the prevailing weather.
The rotations of the bimetallic spiral 9 of the contact thermostat 10 are transferred to the rotary contact 23, namely the contact device 23, 24 is closed when the bimetallic spiral 9 cools down and .opened when it is heated. The control device acting on the furnace flap is then energized BEZW. de-energized, i.e. the furnace flap is opened or closed.
The bimetallic spiral 17, which is influenced by the water temperature, acts on: the rotary contact 24 in such a way that when the water temperature drops, it approaches the rotary contact 23, which corresponds to the currently prevailing temperature states to close the contact device 23, 24 can lead. The control device 21 is then energized, whereby the furnace flap is opened.
The contact device 2'3, 24 is also controlled here by means of the bimetal spirals 9, 17 both as a function of the outside temperature and as a function of the water temperature.
Fig. 3 shows in a perspective view more details of a contact thermostat of a Re gel arrangement that can be used in an electrical circuit according to FIG. The bimetallic spiral 17, which is exposed to the water temperature, is arranged in a copper cap 28 and fastened to it at one end 18.
The other end 16, the bimetallic spiral 17 is connected to the: through a cover 2.9 made of heat-insulating material axis 15, on which the inner end 11 of the bimetallic spiral 9 is fastened on the other side. The other end 14 of the bimetal spiral 9 is connected to a copper cap 3'0 that has a bearing in the bracket 31: screw bolt 32 carries.
The heating coil 8 is pressed against the end face of the cap 30 by a screw and, as a result, is firmly connected to it. The bi-metal spiral 9 and the heating coil 8 are enclosed in a heat-insulating housing consisting of a cap 33 and an end cap 34, firmly connected to the copper cap 30.
At an approach 35 of the end cover 34 is still a bearing sleeve 36 for mounting the axis 15 and: the attachment of the rotary contact 13, which cooperates with a fixed contact drawn at night. The connecting wires 37 connected to the heating coil 8 lead to an external thermostat.
The rotations: of the two bimetal spirals 9, 17 now cause an adjustment, g of the entire insulating housing 33, 34 rotatable in the bearing 38, whereby also: the contact arm 1.3 is adjusted accordingly, since it is fixed with the insulating housing 33 34 connected is.
The transmission of the rotations of the bimetallic spiral 17 to: the housing 333 34 takes place via: the axis 15 and: the bimetal spiral 9.
Such a contact thermostat can have an excellent heat-insulating separation of the two bimetallic spirals and has a simple structure. For example, only three bearings are necessary for storage.
Instead of the contact outside thermostat shown in the exemplary embodiments, an outside thermostat can also be used, which brings about a stepless change in the intensity of the heating effect of the auxiliary heating, which is, for example, in a known manner thermally built into the outside thermostat adjustable rotary transformer is achieved.
The strap-on thermostat is of course not only used for controlling the temperatures of rooms heated by a heating system. Rather, it can also be used for other control purposes in the field of temperature control. The preheated bimetal spiral is influenced by the temperature to be regulated and the heated bimetal spiral is influenced by any variable that affects the setting of the control value.
It is also not absolutely necessary that the two bimetal spirals act on the contact device in the manner shown in the drawing. For example, it is also conceivable to connect the two outer ends of the bimetallic spirals to a connecting element and to fasten the inner end of the bimetallic spirals to a fixed support part.
