Fig. 1 zeigt einen Längsschnitt durch die Nabe.
Vehicle hub with transmission gear. The present invention relates to a vehicle hub with a transmission gear, which is characterized in that the transmission gear has two different ratios and is designed such that one of these always remains switched on and the switching device from the smaller ratio to the larger one with increasing speed the hub takes place automatically when a certain speed is reached, while the downshift from the higher gear to the lower gear occurs when the speed of the hub is reduced to a predetermined speed with simultaneous adjustment of the drive.
In the accompanying drawing, a bicycle hub is shown as an embodiment of the subject invention.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the hub. Fig. \? and 3 each draw a cross section through the hub along the line II-II respectively. III-III in Fig. 1, seen in the indicated arrow directions.
Fig. 4, 5 and 7 each show a view of two items of the hub, in the axial direction, while in Fig. 6 shows an item in side view ge.
1 with the axis of the hub is referred to, on which a in a known manner by stepping on the pedals, not shown in order to be displaceable drive head 2 is arranged, which is supported on the axis 1 by means of balls 3 of a Ku gellager. In the hub housing 4, which has a flange 5 at both ends with holes for inserting one end of the wheel spokes, a drive shell 6 is screwed into one end. Another ball bearing with balls 7 is arranged between the drive shell 6 and the drive head 2, so that the drive head 2 can be rotated with minimal resistance.
The drive head 2 has four sets of lugs 8 (FIGS. 1 and 4) lying parallel to the axis 1 with slots 9 in between.
On the axis 1, a gear 10 is rotatably mounted, with which four gear wheels mesh. These gears 11 are fastened to a gear housing 13 by means of bolts 12 (FIGS. 1 and 3), which at one end is designed as a disk 14 with a groove 15 extending over the circumference.
The gear housing 13 has two diametrically opposed driver tabs 16, so that when the lugs 8 of the drive head 2 are pushed into the bore of the disk 14, the gear housing 13 is pushed into two slots 9, so that when the drive head 2 is rotated also set in rotation. becomes. In the circumferential groove 15, two pawls 17 are pivotally arranged, which are each under the influence of a spring 18.
These pawls 17 interact with a ring gear 19 (Fig. 3) of the drive shell 6, as will be described below.
Within the hub housing 4, a gear housing 20 is arranged, which is not useful by means of a. The ball bearing shown in the drawing is supported on the axis 1 and has an internal ring gear 21, with which the four gears 11 are operatively connected. The gear housing? 0 also has a shoulder 22 with five longitudinal ribs 23. The rotary movement of the gear housing 20 is transferred to a roller cage by means of rollers 21 which rest between the ribs 23 on your seat 22.
For this purpose, this roller cage has five fingers 25 (Fit. 1, 5 and 6), between which the rollers are located, and a disk-shaped part 26. three 31 driver pins 27. the one with. your part 25 is only loosely connected. The roller cage stclit under the influence of a compression spring 28. The roller cage with the rollers 24 lies in the bore of a drive ring 29 which is screwed into the hub housing 4 and whose position in the housing is fixed by an annular stop 30.
The driving pins 27 engage in drilling rims 39 of a triangular body 31. The latter is designed as a carrier of three bodies serving as flywheels: 32, each of which has a guide pin 33. The guide pins 33 are guided in bores. -which cut the bores 39, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. The bodies 32 are kept in the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 by means of a tongue 34 inserted in a groove.
The closure of the hub housing 4 on the side of the body 32 is formed by a closure cover 35 which is screwed into one end of the hub housing and has driver pins 36 which engage in matching bores in the body 31 (FIG. 1 ). The closure cover 35 supports. look at a ball bearing 37.
When the bicycle is stationary, the parts described assume the positions shown in FIG. 1. If the drive head 2 is set in rotation, it causes the gear housing 13 to rotate via its lugs 8 and the driver tabs 16 and the drive shell 6 and thus the hub housing 4 to rotate via the pawls 17. At the same time, the gear housing 20 is also turned with its extension 22 in rotation., which takes the roller cage 25 with the rollers 24 with it.
With the hub housing 4, the closure cover 35 also rotates, which takes the body 31 with it via its driver pins 36. The body 31 rotates over the driving pins \? 7 also the disk 26. If a certain speed is reached, the bodies 3 \ 2 lift themselves off from the body 31 under tension of the spring 34 due to the centrifugal forces acting on them and lie against the cylindrical part of the cover 35 surrounding them.
As a result of this radial movement, the guide pins 33 release the bores 39 in the body 31 and the spring 28 is initiated. an axial displacement of the disk? EI in the direction of the body 31 in that the driver pins 27 enter the bores 39 deeper. Due to the axial displacement of the disk 26 as a result of the relaxing spring 28, the roller orb 25 is also carried along.
The parts of this roller cage lying parallel to the axis 1, as can be seen from FIGS. 5 and 6, have hook-shaped projections 25c at their ends, while a groove 23a is cut out in each longitudinal rib 23 of the projection 22 (FIGS. 1 and 7), into which the hook-shaped - sets, 25a fit.
If the hook-shaped lugs 25a have reached the level of the grooves 23a when the axial displacement of the roller cage is mentioned, then the roller cage is rotated with respect to the drive housing 20, the hook-shaped lugs 25a being pushed into the grooves 23a.
This has the consequence that the rollers 24, insofar as this is permitted by the play which is present and not shown, are pushed in the direction of the ribs 23 and pressed against the drive ring 29, which is firmly connected to the hub housing 4. So it is now the drive head 2 on the tooth housing 13, the Ge gear housing 20 and the rollers 24 coupled to the drive ring 29. In this moment the drive shell 6 runs over the pawls 17, since the number of revolutions of the drive shell is greater than that of the disc 14.
If the drive following by the pedaling movement is set and the rotation of the drive head 2 is slowed down, a decoupling takes place between the gear housing 20 and the drive ring 29 and again a coupling between the gear housing 13 and the drive shell 6 takes place by the spring 34 at Reducing the number of revolutions of the body 31 below a certain limit pushes the body 32 back into its original starting positions and the latter through their Füh approximately pins 33 cause that under to compress the spring 28 of the roller basket 25 is moved back to its original position,
as soon as the hook-shaped lugs 25a have left the grooves 23a by rotating the roller cage. The changeover from the smaller to the larger ratio is thus carried out automatically, that is to say without the driver having to operate any organs, and it is always one of the two. Translations switched on.
Instead of the roller cage 25 and the rollers 24, other known organs can be provided which produce the hitch bezw between the drive ring 29 and the gear housing 20. manage the decoupling of these parts.
An analog hub could also be arranged on a motorcycle or on another vehicle, provided that the drive is carried out on a drive head or another suitable and the latter replacing organ.
