Process for the production of writing materials. The invention relates to the production of writing materials from writing material, fillers and binders.
The purpose of the invention is to write writing materials, e.g. B. pen leads to create that are un sensitive to moisture.
This is achieved according to the invention in that such water-soluble synthetic resins are used as binders, which can be made insoluble by heat treatment.
As such synthetic resins, for. B. what water-soluble condensation products from phenol and formaldehyde or water-soluble condensation products from urea and formaldehyde can be used.
Aqueous solutions of two or more synthetic resins can also be used as binders for the purposes of the invention. The synthetic resins become insoluble under the action of heat.
Furthermore, water-soluble condensation products from phenol and formaldehyde or water-soluble condensation products from urea and formaldehyde, which can be made insoluble by the action of hardening agents and heat, can be used as binders.
Finally, in addition to the binders made of synthetic resins, other water-soluble binders such. B. trolley can be used.
When carrying out the invention, the following substance mixtures, for example, are used: Example I:

The finished leads are so insensitive to moisture that they can be boiled in water without softening.
According to the invention, writing, drawing, copying and color leads of any kind can be made, including stick-shaped writing implements such as drawing or signing crayons.
