Wind turbine with adjustable propulsion blades. The subject of the invention is a wind wheel with adjustable drive blades for wind power plants. According to the invention, in order to keep the speed of the wind turbine constant when the wind speed changes, the propulsion blades on the wind turbine hub can be radially adjusted and rotated, depending on this adjustment, around the wing axis, in accordance with the change in the centrifugal force of the wing masses against any acting on them ,
To adjust the force automatically and radially while changing its slope according to the change in wind speed.
Appropriately, the outward movement of the sub-wing counteracting force in front of a single power source, transmitted through a hydraulic transmission to the individual propulsion vane.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically.
Figy. 1 is a longitudinal section and fiz. 2 is a cross section through the hub of the wind wheel of a wind power plant.
In the example shown, three propulsion blades 2 are mounted on dex wind turbine hub 1 so that they can be longitudinally displaced in the direction of the blade axis and rotatably about the blade axis. A cylinder 3 is arranged around each propulsion vane inside the hub 1, in which a piston 4 can move, to which the associated vane root 5 is attached. At each wing foot steep screw trains 6 are provided, which are in engagement with corresponding screw grooves of a fixed nut 7 carried by the cylinder 5 or the hub 1, in such a way that a longitudinal displacement of the wing 2 causes the same to rotate about the wing axis.
In the middle -the hub between the three cylinders 3, a crank disk 8 is rotatably angeord net and each piston 4 is connected to the crank disk via a steering arm 9. Each link 9 is articulated to the piston,
so that the piston with the drive vane can turn in relation to the crank disc. This mutual connection. between the three pistons 4. that @ the three wings inevitably adjust by the same amount. A liquid is enclosed in the cylinder space 10 between the piston 4 and the outer end of the cylinder 3 and the vane root 5 exits the cylinder and is sealed by a stuffing box 11.
Another cylinder 12, in which a piston 13 can move, is arranged in the axis of the hub 1. In the space 14 between the piston 12 and the rear end of the cylinder, a liquid is also enclosed and the liquid space 10 of each of the three cylinders 3 is connected via a line 15 to the space 14 of the cylinder 1 2. A spring 16 acts on the outer side of the piston 13 and tries to push the piston inward.
The spring 16 is supported abge on a spring plate 17, which is adjustable by means of a regulating screw 18 to the force with which the spring acts on the piston. can adjust zii. An opening in the hub 1 that can be closed by a cover 19 allows the handwheel 20 of the screw 18 to be rotated.
When the wind turbine is at rest, the spring 16 pushes the piston 13 inward, where the liquid is displaced from your space 14 and flows through the lines 15 into the spaces 10 of the three cylinders 3 until the pistons 4 assume their innermost position . The wind turbine is set in rotation by wind power. so the centrifugal force acting on the propulsion wing strives. to move the wings radially outwards. The pistons 4 slide outwards in the cylinders 3 and press the liquid out of the spaces 10 through the lines 15 into the space 14 of the cylinder 12, so that the piston 13 is displaced outwards against the action of the spring 16.
The radial displacement of the propulsion wing outwards also causes a twisting of the wing in the sense that the wing pitch increases and so the angle of incidence of the wind on the wing becomes more and more acute, so that the 'NLTindrad the wind becomes smaller Offers a target.
The displacement of the pistons 4 outwards will continue until a state of equilibrium is reached, ie. H. until the pressure of the liq fluid in the cylinder chamber 14 is equal to the pressure of the spring 16 due to the centrifugal force acting on the three propulsion vanes. This equilibrium state occurs at a certain speed of the pinwheel, which can be regulated by the screw 18.
If the wind speed increases, the wind turbine begins to turn faster; the blades move outwards, but are twisted at the same time, so that the surface of the blades exposed to the increased wind power is reduced and the speed of the wind turbine therefore remains approximately constant. The depending on the change in centrifugal force he aimed adjustment of the propulsion blades also causes a reduction in the high wind speed on the. Wings work. the, considerable thrust.
