Description
Elektrisches Verbindungsorgan.
Electrical connector. The invention relates to a. Electrical connecting element, in which the two pluggable contact pieces are designed exactly the same and each consists of a sheet metal strip partially separated by a longitudinal slot, the ends of the tongues separated by the longitudinal slot are bent away from the sheet metal plane on opposite sides.
1 to 3 show an example embodiment of the inventive concept. The invention enables the simple and inexpensive production of such connecting members by only having to produce a single type of contact piece which is used in the same way for both parts of the connecting member to be plugged into one another.
In Fig. 1, the punched from a sheet metal strip piece B is shown. This is partially separated by a longitudinal slot S, the slot length being able to be selected differently depending on the use. The separated by the slot S ends of the parts or tongues E "and Eu are bent away in opposite directions from the sheet metal plane.
In the example case, the end of E "is bent into the plane of the drawing and the end of Eo is bent out of the plane of the drawing.
In FIGS. 2 and 3, a plug-in electrical connecting element provided with such contact pieces is shown. The contact pieces B and B are fastened with their unslotted part in insulating parts J1 and J2.
These insulating parts have guide elements indicated by F and FZ in the form of bolts, fitting pieces or the like, so that the insulating pieces with the contact pieces B and BZ fastened in them can be displaced translationally against one another.
The insulating pieces J and J2 can of course contain practically any number of contact pieces B and B2 which are fastened in the insulating parts in corresponding arrangements.
When the connecting element is plugged together (FIG. 3), the slotted and curved ends of the tongues Eol and E "and of the tongues E" 2 and E "1 slide over one another and establish electrical contact between the organs BI and B1 .
Opposite surfaces of the tongues Eol and E "1 are in contact with corresponding upper surfaces of the tongues E, 2 and E" 2 of the other contact piece.
To improve the electrical contact, it may be useful to at least edit the contact surface of one or both parts E "1 and E" 2, be it to polish or roughen; for reinforcement, at least one of the two tongues of a contact piece can be provided with at least one rib.
The opening L is provided for attaching the feeder ladder.
