Verstellpropeller mit Mechanismus zur Veränderung der Zage der Propellerflügel und einer den Gang dieses Mechanismus beherrschenden elektrischen Steuerung. Um die Lage der Flügel von Verstell propellern verändern zu können, werden vorzugsweise mechanische oder hydraulisch betätigte Verstellvorrichtungen vorgesehen. In beiden Fällen ist es bekannt, den Gang dieser Verstellvorrichtungen von Steuervor richtungen beherrschen zu lassen, die von Hand ausgelöst werden. Bei einer bekannten Bauart wird z. B. das Steuerventil der Steuervorrichtung über ein Gestänge be tätigt, das mit einem Handhebel im Bereiche des Steuermannes in Verbindung steht.
Be reits nach einer kurzen Betriebszeit ist der Steuermann meistens imstande, lediglich auf Grund der jeweiligen Lage des Steuer hebels zu beurteilen, in welcher Lage die Propellerflügel sich etwa befinden, so dass besondere Apparate zum Anzeigen der je weiligen Flügellage und damit zusammen hängende Ablesungen entbehrlich werden. Dies vereinfacht sowohl .den Aufbau des Verstellmechanismus als auch dessen Be dienung. Ferner ist es schon bekannt, im Zusam- menhange mit dem Verstellmechanismus elektrisch ausgebildete Steuervorrichtungen vorzusehen.
Diese weisen für gewöhnlich Druckknopfschalter auf, in. deren Verbin dung jedoch ein besonderes Instrument zum Anzeigen der jeweiligen Lage der Propeller flügel vorzusehen ist, das vom Steuermann beim Verstellen der Flügel ständig im Auge zu behalten ist, was eine Erschwerung be deutet, @da der Steuermann, insbesondere bei Landemanövern, seine Aufmerksamkeit an dern Dingen schenken muss. Zweck der Er findung ist, diese Erschwerung auch dann zu beheben,
wenn eine elektrische Steue- rung den Gang des Mechanismus zur Ver änderung der Lage der Propellerflügel be herrsche. Zu diesem Behufe bildet gemäss vorliegender Erfindung der Ausschlag eines die elektrische .Steuerung beeinflussenden Handhebels einen Massstab für die Grösse -der Verstellung der Proppellerflügel.
Auf der Zeichnung ist beispielsweise eine Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegen standes veranschaulicht. Es zeigt: Fig. 1 in vereinfachter Darstellungs weise einen Verstellpropeller und eine elek trische Steuerung. welche den Gang eines Mechanismus zum Verstellen der Propeller flügel beherrscht; Fig. 2 zeigt in grösserem Massstab eine Einzelheit der elektrischen Steuerung.
1 bezeichnet einen Verstellpropeller, des sen Flügel 2 sich mittelst eines mechani schen Gestänges 3 verstellen lassen. Dieses Gestänge 3 steht mit einem Kolben 4 eines Servomotors in Wirkungsverbindung, des sen Gehäuse 5 mit der Antriebswelle 6 des Propellers 1 ein Ganzes bildet. Der Gang dieses Servomotors 4, 5 wird in Abhängig keit von der Stellung eines Handhebels 7 von einer elektrischen Steuerung beherrscht. Der Hebel 7 kann z. B. im Steuerstand eines Schiffes angeordnet sein, und eine Skala 8 gestattet, den Ausschlag und damit das Mass der jeweiligen Verstellung dieses Hebels 7 festzustellen. Letzterer ist mit einem soge nannten Geberapparat 9 bekannter Bau art, zu dessen Betätigung ein elektrischer Strom benötigt wird, starr verbunden.
Der Geberapparat 9 bewirkt über ein Kabel 10 die Einstellung eines sogenannten Emp fangsapparates 11 von ebenfalls bekannter Bauart, um genau denselben Winkel, um den der Apparat 9 eingestellt worden ist. Mit dem Empfangsapparat 11 ist eine aus Isolierstoff bestehende Scheibe 12 starr ver bunden. In dieser Scheibe 12 sind zwei Ringsegmente 13, 14 aus elektrisch leiten dem Baustoff versenkt angeordnet, die durch flexible Kabel mit einer Klemme 15 bezw. 16 leitend verbunden sind. Die Zah len 17, 18, 19 bezeichnen drei, in einer Zahn radscheibe 20 aus Isolierstoff federnd an geordnete Kohlenbürsten, die in der Bewe gungsbahn der Segmente 13, 14 angeordnet sind. Um ein Einfallen der Bürsten 17, 18 und 19 zwischen die Segmente 13, 14 zu verhüten, sind die Zwischenräume zwischen denselben mit Isolierstoff ausgefüllt.
Die Bürste<B>17</B> ist mit einer Klemme 21 leitend verbunden, während die Bürste 18 mit einer Klemme 22 und die Bürste 19 mit einer Klemme 23 leitend verbunden ist. Die Zahn radscheibe 20 greift in eine Zahnstange 24 ein, welche mit einer Wandermutter 25, die mit einer Schraubenspindel 26 zusammen arbeitet, starr verbunden ist. An die Wan dermutter 25 ist eine Lasche 27 angelenkt, die auch an einen um einen Zapfen 28 dreh baren Hebel 29 angelenkt ist.
An den Hebel 29 ist ein Steuerkolben 30 angelenkt. 31 be zeichnet eine Steuerhülse, die zusammen mit dem Kolben 30 über eine feststehende Druckölzuführung 32 den Zu- und Abfluss einer Druckflüssigkeit zu den Servomotor räumen zu beiden Seiten des Kolbens 4 steuert. Die Steuerhülse 31 ist an einen um einen Zapfen 33 drehbaren Hebel 34 ange lenkt, der in den, Weg einer Hülse 35 ragt, welche auf der Propellerwelle 6 gleiten kann und vom Servomotorkolben 4 bei des sen Bewegungen mitgenommen wird, wobei gleichzeitig der Hebel 34 gedreht wird.
Ein Hilfsmotor 36, dessen Feldwicklung mit 37 bezeichnet ist, dient zum Drehen der Schrau benspindel 26.
Ein Schalter A wird von einem Solenoid 38 und ein Schalter B von einem Solenoid 39 betätigt. 40 ist eine Stromquelle und 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 511, 51.<B>2</B> 51\ , 51.4, 515, 518, 51', 518, 51<B>9</B>, 5l1 sind Kontakt- bezw. Abzweigstellen elektrischer Leitungen. 52 und 53 sind zwei Hilfslam pen, von verschiedener Farbe.
Die Wirkungs-,veise der beschriebenen Bauart ist folgende: Eine Verstellung des Steuerhebels 7 und damit des Gehers 9 sowie des Empfängers 11 um einen auf der Skala 8 ersichtlichen Betrag bewirkt z. B. ein Auflaufen des Seg mentes 13 unter die Kohlenbürsten 17, 18 und 19, wobei die Bürste 17 zuerst mit die sem Segment 13 in Kontakt kommt, was noch keinerlei Folgen zeitigt. Sobald jedoch die Bürste 18 auf das Segment 13 aufläuft, wird der Stromkreis 41, 42, 51, 44, 45, 15, 13, 18, 22, 46,<B>51'</B> und 512 geschlossen.
Das Auflaufen der Bürste 19 auf das Segment 13 zeitigt ebenfalls keine Folgen, weil der Kontakt 23-47 des Schalters B offen ist. Das Solenoid 38 wird in obigem Stromkreis erregt und infolgedessen der Schalter A in seine Einschaltlage gebracht.
Dadurch wird der Haltestromkreis 41, 42, 51, 44, 45, 15, 13, 17, 21, 50, 49, 51' und 512 für das Solenoid 38, welcher über die Bürste 17 führt, und ferner der ,Stromkreis des: Hilfs motors 36, bezeichnet durch die Ziffern 41, 42, 43, 513, 5,14, 51', 3,7, 510, 5,17, 518, 510, 51'0, 36, 51' und 512, geschlossen, so dass dieser Hilfsmotor 36 nunmehr in Richtung des Pfeils C umläuft, wobei durch die Spin del 26 die mit der Zahnstange 24 starr ver bundene Wandermutter 25 in Richtung des Pfeils D verschoben wird. Die Zahnrad scheibe 20, welche die Kohlen 17, 18 und 19 trägt, wird jetzt im Sinne des Pfeils E ge dreht, wobei erst die Bürste 1.9 und dann die Bürste 18 ,das Kontaktsegment 13 ver lässt.
Der Hilfsmotor 36 läuft aber trotz dem weiter, weil das Solenoid 3,8 nach wie vor erregt bleibt, da der Stromkreis 41, 42, 51, 44, 45, 15, 13, 17, 21, 50, 49, 51' und 512 noch geschlossen ist, so -dass der Schalter A in seiner Einschaltlage verbleibt. Erst wenn auch die Kohlenbürste 17 das Seg ment 13 verlässt, wird der zuletzt genannte Stromkreis unterbrochen, so dass der Hilfs motor 36 zum Stillstand kommt. Damit hat die elektrische Steuerung den ihr zufallen den Anteil am Propellerverstellvorgang vollzogen.
Bei der Verschiebung der Wandermutter 25 in Richtung des Pfeils D wird auch der Steuerkolben 30 vermittelst der Lasche 27 und des Hebels 29 so verstellt, dass er Druck flüssigkeit in den Raum des Gehäuses 5 rechts vom Kolben 4 gelangen und aus dem Raum links dieses Kolbens 4 abfliessen lässt. Das hat eine Bewegung des Kolbens 4 nach links zur Folge, wobei dessen Stange ver mittelst des Gestänges 3 eine Verdrehung der Propellerflügel 2 im gewünschten Sinne bewirkt.
Die Stange des Kolbens 4 nimmt auch die auf der Propellerwelle 6 gleitbar angeordnete Hülse 35 mit, in deren Weg der Hebel 34 ragt, wobei die den Steuer kolben 30 umgebende Steuerhülse 31 -rela- tiv zu diesem Kolben so verstellt wird, dass nach erfolgter Einstellung .der Propeller flügel 2 in die erforderliche Lage Steuer kolben 30 und Steuerhülse 31 wieder ihre Mittelstellung einnehmen.
Sobald dies der Fall ist, wird jeder weitere Zu- und Abfluss von Druckflüssigkeit in bezw. aus dem Servomotorgehäuse 5 verhindert, so dass dann die Flügel 2 in ihrer augenblicklichen Lage gehalten werden.
Analoge Vorgänge spielen sich ab, wenn der Hebel 7 in entgegengesetztem Sinne verstellt wird. In diesem Falle erhält der Hilfsmotor 36 den benötigten Strom über den Schalter B und läuft, verglichen mit den weiter oben beschriebenen Vorgängen, im umgekehrten Drehsinn.
Von den zwei Signallampen 52, 53 leuchtet eine so lange auf, als der IMfs- motor 36 im einen oder andern Drehsinn läuft. Auf diese Weise erhält der Steuer mann jeweils die Rückmeldung über die von ihm eingeleiteten Vorgänge.
In allen Fällen bildet der Winkelaus schlag, um welchen der die beschriebene elektrische Steuerung beeinflussende Hand hebel 7 verstellt worden ist, einen Massstab für die Grösse der Verstellung der Propeller flügel 2.
