System with at least one turbo machine. The invention relates to a system with at least one turbo machine through which a gasför-shaped working medium flows, the shaft of which is led out of a space of the machine housing that is higher than the external pressure and is mounted outside this space.
When waves pass through the housing of turbo machines, seals are gene z. B. in the form of labyrinth or carbon seals are necessary to avoid inadmissible losses of gases. In addition to the still quite considerable losses of gas that occur with such seals, a further disadvantage, particularly when using high temperatures, is frequent operational difficulties due to the large heat expansion conditions.
The invention consists in that the bearing housing of the turbomachine is connected to the machine housing in a gas-tight manner and is sealed off from the outside, so that in the bearing housing there is also a pressure that is higher than the external pressure. This design of the bearings can avoid the disadvantages of the previously known types.
The outwardly sealed bearing housing can be connected to the machine housing in a gas-tight manner on one side and a puffing box sealing the inner space of the bearing housing from the outer space on the other side.
Such a design has the advantage that the shaft part to be passed through the stuffing box to the outside can be made thinner than the other shaft parts because this shaft part is practically only burdened by the torque corresponding to the power transmission.
In the case of two turbo machines coupled to one another, the housing of the bearing arranged between the two turbo machines can be connected to the two machine housings in a gas-tight manner and sealed to the outside. If the two coupled turbo machines are a compressor and a gas turbine, it is expedient to have a machine housing through which air flows. higher pressure is maintained than in the other machine housing, so that a small amount of air can flow from one machine housing through the bearing housing into the other machine housing.
The bearing housings can be connected gas-tight to one of the machine housings by means of a flexible bellows, they can also have their own lubricating oil circuit, whereby a cooling device can be provided for the oil of the lubricating oil circuit.
A gaseous pressure medium which is at a higher pressure than the gaseous working medium of the connected machine housing can also be fed to the bearing housing through a line. In ge know cases it may be advisable to arrange a cooling device for the gas fed to the bearing housing in this way.
Two embodiments of the subject invention are explained in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing.
In the systems according to FIGS. 1 and 2, a turbo compressor 1 and a turbine 2 are provided. The turbo compressor 1 sucks in air through the line 3 and presses it through the line 4 into a gas heater 5. The heated air and possibly the combustion gases are then fed through the line 6 into the turbine 2. The gases from the turbine 2 flow through the device 7 in other consumption points, z. B. in a low pressure turbine 8 (Fig.2) or outside. The rotor 9 of the turbo compressor 1 (Fig. 1) and the rotor 10 of the turbine 2 are respectively in the bearings 11. 12 resp. 13 stored.
The shafts 14 supported in bearings 12 and 13 respectively. 15 transmit torques and protrude into the housing of the turbo machines 1 and 2, in which the working medium is under a pressure that is higher than the external pressure. The housings 16 and 17 of the bearings 12 and 13 are respectively with the machine housings 1. 2 connected gas-tight and also sealed to the outside. Accordingly, a pressure that is higher than the external pressure can also develop in the bearing housings.
Each of the bearings 12 and 13 has its own lubricating oil circuit, respectively, from the lubricating oil sump 18 via the pump 19 through the line 20 into the bearing 12. 13 leads and empties from here again into the sump lubricating oil. To cool the lubricating oil sump, a cooling device in the form of a pipe coil 21 can be accommodated in the lubricating oil sump. A coolant is passed through this snake pipe, which dissipates part of the heat of the lubricant so that a prescribed temperature can be maintained for the lubricant.
The housing 16 of the bearing 12 is designed as one piece with the machine housing of the Turboverdich age 1 and is connected to the housing of the turbine 2 in a gas-tight manner by the flexible bellows 22.
In order to prevent inadmissible heating of the bearing housing 16 and thus the bearing 12, a cooling chamber 23 is provided in which the coolant that has already flowed through the cooling coil 21 passes; the exit of the coolant takes place through the line 24. The interior of the bearing housing 16 is through the line 25 with the delivery line 4 of the compressor in connection. Since the line 25 is arranged in the cooling space 23, cooled air flows into the interior of the bearing housing, which can then escape in small quantities through the bellows 22 after the turbine 2, because the working medium in the housing of the turbo compressor 1 has a slightly higher pressure than the working fluid in the housing of the turbine 2.
The housing 17 of the bearing 13 is on the one hand with the help of the bellows 26 with the housing of the turbine 2 gas-tight connected and on the other side has a stuffing box 27 sealing the interior from the exterior. The shaft 15 is on the side of the stuffing box 27 is essentially only relieved by the torque corresponding to the power transmission, so that it can be guided through the stuffing box with the diameter correspondingly reduced to this torque.
The diameter of the shaft 15 on the side of the rotor 10 must be much larger, since this shaft part is not only stressed by the torque, but also by the bending moment caused by the weight of the rotor.
The housing 17 is fed through the device 28 from the exhaust pipe 7 exhaust gases, which are cooled with the aid of the device 29 Kühlvorrich.
The bearing housing 16 and 30 of the gas turbine system according to FIG. 2 are between the housings of the turbo machines 1 and 2 respectively. 2 and 8 arranged, gastight with the housings of the turbo machines 1, 2 respectively. 8 connected and sealed to the outside. The housing 16 is supplied with cooled air from the delivery line 4 of the compressor 1 through the line 25 with means of the cooler 31. The bearing housing 30 receives air from an intermediate stage of the compressor 1 via the device 32, which is cooled by the cooler 33. Through the lines 25 and 32, only pure air can flow over into the bearing housing 16 and 30 from the housing of the compressor 1.
