Leuchtzeichen. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Leuchtzei- chen, welches eine einen gewölbten Teil auf weisende Scheibe aus durchsichtigem Mate rial besitzt, auf deren konkaven Fläche Leuchtmasse angebracht ist und deren ge- ivölbter Teil von einem flachen Randteil um geben ist, der zur Befestigung der Scheibe mit nach aussen gerichteter Wölbung an einer Unterlage dient. Die durchsichtige Scheibe deckt dabei den Träger der Leuchtmasse ab. Die Scheibe kann zweckmässigerweise aus Zelluloid bestehen und mit ihrem Randteil mit der Unterlage verklebt sein.
Beispiels weise kann die Unterlage aus einem Knopf oder einer Brosche bestehen, die an den Klei dern von Personen getragen werden kann, um zum Beispiel im Verdunkelungsfalle Per sonen auf der Strasse wahrnehmen' zu können. Infolge der Wölbung der die Leuchtmasse tragenden Scheibe wird eine gute Leuchtwir- kung auch in seitlicher Richtung erzielt, so dass das Herannahen einer Person besser wahrgenommen werden kann als bei Benüt zung der bekannten Leuchtbroschen mit auf einer ebenen Fläche angebrachter Leucht- masse.
Die Zeichnung betrifft eine beispiels weise Ausführungsform des Erfindungs gegenstandes und zeigt einen Schnitt.
Eine kreisrunde Scheibe aus durchsich tigem Material, zum Beispiel aus Zelluloid, besitzt einen kugelka!lottenförmig gewölbten Teil 1, der von einem flachen Randteil 2 um geben ist. Auf der innern konkaven Fläche des gewölbten Teils 1 ist Leuchtmasse 3 auf getragen. Der flache Randteil 2 dient -dazu, die Scheibe auf irgendeiner Unterlage zu be festigen, was vorteilhafterweise durch Auf kleben geschehen kann, und zwar wird die Scheibe so befestigt, dass ihre Wölbung nach aussen gerichtet ist. Die Leuchtmasse be findet sich dann auf der Innenseite der Scheibe, und diese bildet zugleich den Träger ,der Leuchtmasse und das Abdeckmittel für die Masse.
Beispielsweise kann die Scheibe auf einen Knopf, zweckmässig auf einen sogenannten Doppelknopf geklebt werden, der bei Ver- dunkeleng in ein Knopfloch der Kleidung einer Person gesteckt wird, so dass das Heran nahen von Personen, die einen solchen Leuchtknopf tragen, in der Dunkelheit wahr genommen werden kann. Als t'nterlage für die die Leuchtmasse tragende Scheibe könnte auch eine Brosche dienen.
Das Leuchtzeichen kann auch für andere Zwecke verwendet werden, zum Beispiel als Merkzeichen, um in der Dunkelheit eine bestimmte Stelle, wie einen elektrischen Schalter, eine Türklinke, ein Schlüsselloch, eine Klingel usw. kennt lich zu machen, in welchem Falle es an dem kenntlich zu machenden Gegenstand selbst oder an eine Zimmer- oder Hauswand be festigt werden kann.
