Additional patent to main patent no. 204537. Gluing device. The subject of the claim of the main patent is a glue device, which is characterized by
that the actual glue as a hollow cylinder with .Saug- or. Pressure piston is formed and, when not in use, is inserted removably into a hollow seat of a container intended to hold glue that does not dry out,
that it is located with the mentioned opening of the cylinder GIC11 above a suction channel dipping into the glue in order to simultaneously convey the closure of the container to the outside and to enable glue to be sucked into the cylinder.
When using such. Device, it turns out that it is impossible with the finest feeling to each:
to squeeze out the desired amount of liquid by the plunger always getting stuck, which is especially the case when it is not used for a long period of time, so that the plunger then glides forward jerkily when actuated, which results in a squirt of the contents and a graffiti arises
which excludes such a device from the practical mountain range.
According to the present invention, this disadvantage is eliminated by providing the piston of the device with a pressure plunger and at the head end with an elastic membrane in such a way that it expands like a bellows when the plunger is pressed,
to create a slight overpressure in the cylinder to dispense even the smallest amount of liquid. With this facility any desired, even the smallest amount of liquid can be dispensed with the finest feeling.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. 1 is a vertical longitudinal section through the hollow cylinder which is partially filled with liquid.
2 shows a similar section at the time of liquid discharge with the piston diaphragm expanded to form a bellows.
3 shows the device in connection with a liquid storage container. a is a hollow cylinder which contains a longitudinally displaceable piston b and is provided with a nozzle c at the front end.
A plunger d, which is equipped at the upper end with a push button e and whose pressure stroke is limited by a stop f; goes through the piston rod g and carries a pressure plate h at the lower end. A rubber cap i is placed over this plate, which is connected to the head piece of the piston b and on the one hand forms a complete separation between the liquid and the pressure plunger, so that the slight play of the plunger is in no way inhibited, on the other hand as a spring member Used to return the pressure ram.
The rubber cap i is useful. arranged exchangeably on the piston b.
The actual glue, consisting of the cylinder a and suction respectively. Plunger b, when not in use, is removably inserted into a hollow seat m of a glue reservoir n, which is seen with a suction neck o ver. It is then located with -the nozzle c of the cylinder above the suction channel of the neck o,
at the same time to convey the closure of the container ya to the outside and to allow glue to be sucked into the cylinder a. For the latter purpose one only needs to pull up the piston b in the cylinder a. If you want to dispense a larger amount of glue, push the piston l) in the cylinder a as a whole downwards in order to push out the desired amount of glue through the nozzle c of the cylinder a.
If the glue is to be dispensed sensitively, just press the push button e so that the rubber cap i is expanded like a bellows to form an elastic auxiliary piston that creates a slight overpressure in the cylinder and, depending on the size of the D @ ruekes a portion of liquid to a greater or lesser extent, e.g. B. in the form of a drop, can exit through the nozzle c.
If the pressure on the push button e decreases, the elastic auxiliary piston or bellows goes back into itself, and a slight vacuum is created in the hollow cylinder, which sucks the liquid in the nozzle c back into the cylinder, causing it to dry on the one and This prevents the nozzle from clogging.
The piston b is generally used to fill the device by suction. Even if the piston b may serve to dispense liquid, the dispensing of liquid is more likely to be accomplished by repeatedly pressing the plunger pushbutton e, in that the glue dispensing can be sensitively regulated. Only in cases where a moderate release of liquid is to take place, the Kol ben b can be pressed down directly as a whole.
Even if the device described is primarily intended to dispense glue, it cannot be ruled out that it can also be used for other liquids.
