Device for clamping and cutting the weft thread in looms with automatic bobbin change. The present invention relates to a device for clamping and from cutting the weft thread in looms with automatic bobbin change.
In the device according to the invention, the shear and clamping elements are arranged on a lever, the shaft of which is connected to the shooter guard lever via an arm arranged on the latter and a rod engaging it, whereby the clamping and shear elements are opened a stationary stop and a finger controlled by the reel changing hammer is provided for closing the same, the whole thing in such a way
that when the shooter guard lever is working, the shear and clamping elements are opened and moved against the weft thread running along the front wall of the shooter and the clamping and shearing elements are closed when the bobbin changing hammer is used,
whereupon, when the parts return to their starting position, the clamping and shear organs return closed and move the cut weft thread out of the path of the shooter.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of the device according to the present invention is Darge, namely shows: FIG. 1 is a side view of the clamping and cutting device with its actuating members and other parts of the loom, FIGS Parts of Fig. 1 in different working positions,
5 and 6 show details of the loom in cross section along lines I-I and II-II in FIG. 7 on a larger scale, FIG. 7 a side view of the shuttle, FIG. 8 a top view of the shuttle with the shuttle box front wall,
the clamping and shearing members and part of the actuating members thereof, and finally Fig. 9 is a front view of the shooter box front wall.
The sensor lever 1, which works together with the weft sensor, sits on the weft sensor shaft 2, which carries a lever 3 for actuating the gunner guard lever 4 via a compression spring 5. On the gunner guard lever 4 is a pull rod 6, one end of which is in a slot 7 of the guard lever is guided, a lever 9 is articulated via a compression spring 8. The lever 9 sits on a shaft 10.
Outside of the one side bearing plate of the loom, on the side on which the bobbin changing device with the drum 12 carrying the full weft bobbins 11 is arranged, the shaft 10 carries a lever arm 13. At the free end of the lever arm 13 is a Carrier 14 brought to the four scissors-like cooperating parts 16, 17, 18 and 19 on a pin 15 carries. These organs 14-19, known per se, form the clamping and retracting organs and work together in a manner known per se.
A finger 24 (FIGS. 2 to 4 and 8) is rotatably arranged on a shaft 22 which is parallel to the shaft 20 of the reel-changing hammer 21 and which is fastened to a downwardly extended arm 23 of the hammer, which under the influence of a spring? stands and with a pin 26, which is in the movable parts 17 and 18 of the thread clamp and thread scissors, cooperates. A carrier 26a, which is not rotatably attached to the end of the hammer shaft 20, carries a pivotable, stationary pawl 7, which also works together with the pin 26 and rests against a pin 29, which pivots the latch that serves as a stop,
clockwise prevented.
The sley 30 carries a specially designed shuttle box front wall 31 (Fig. 5, 6, 8 and 9) with a recess 32 opposite the thread clamp BEZW. Thread scissors. From this recess 32, the upper edge of the wall 31 extends to its full height. The weft thread can therefore easily slide forward and upward over these tapering, rounded and curved upper edges.
The '\ V'ehsehiitzerl: 33 (Fig. 7 and 8) has a lateral cutout 34 open to the front and at the top, in which the weft thread F coming from the shot carrier and running to the Vare is exposed, while the same between the shooting box wall 37 1111d shooters 33 lies in a longitudinal groove 35.
In a departure from the usual designs, the longitudinal groove 35 is arranged near the top of the visor 33. The cutout 34 in the shooter's front wall is up to the open top and front with. Wall. gene, which have approximately the same thickness as the longitudinal walls of the shooter.
In this way it is achieved that no weakening of the protection occurs through the cutout, so that the braking of the contactor in the contactor box can take place without a premature breakage of the contactor. At the level of the groove 35 in the front wall of the contactor box there is an upwardly recessed recess 35a.
The weft thread F can therefore be freely pulled upwards out of the groove 33 in that the front wall of the shooter box no longer rests against the front wall of the shooter away from the groove 35.
The operation of the device is as follows: When the coil is almost out of date, the shot sensor of the cattle chair initiates the coil change in a known manner. the sensor carriage moves in the direction of the arrow P (Fig. 1), the sensor lever 1 and there with the shaft 2 are pivoted.
During this movement, the lever 3 is also rotated and, in a known manner, actuates the guard lever 4 via the pressure compensation spring 5, which lies in the path of the Sehütz 33 and prevents the automatic exchange of the bobbin if the shooter is not completely in the slack is located. When the guard lever 4 is pivoted, it takes the lever 9 with it via the pull rod 6 and the compression spring 8 and rotates the shaft 10.
As a result of the rotation of the shaft 10 during the pivoting of the lever 9, the scissor carrier lever 13 moves with its upper end towards the sley 30. The pin 26 pushes against the pawl 27 which, as a result of the pin 29, cannot pivot in this direction. The pawl 27 therefore opens the movable parts 17 and 18 of the clamp and scissors, so that the clamp and scissors are in the open position. When the lever 13 is moved from the starting position according to FIG. 2 into the ready position according to FIG. 3, the scissors and at the same time the clamp have opened.
To limit the path of the lever 13, a pin 37 is provided which runs in a slot 36 of the lever 13. The pin 37 itself is fastened to an arm 38 BE which is adjustable on the carrier 26a. Simultaneously with the movements described enclosed, the adjuster 28 (Fig. 3), which is rotatably ge superimposed on a pin of the bobbin changing hammer 21, pivoted upward and brought into working position Ar.
When the drawer 30 moves forward, the weft thread F occurs between the opened legs of the clamping respectively. Shear organs, in that their ends have entered the cutout 34 of the shooter through the recess 32 of the front wall 31 of the gun box.
In order to prevent the shearing and clamping organs from hitting the shooter and thus injury to these parts, the stop screw 39 attached to the drawer 30 pushes against the carrier 14 and brings this and the seer and clamping organs forward in the direction of oscillation of the drawer . With the store movement and to follow the same, the pivoting of the hammer 21 and the bobbin change in the shooter is effected in a known manner.
Since the shaft 22 moves along with the arm 23 when the hammer 21 is pivoted (FIG. 4), the front end of the finger 24 is moved downwards and comes to rest on the pin 26 so that the clamp and scissors are closed . The clamping he follows in the usual way a little earlier than the shearing. When the bobbin has been changed, the eye thread F has also been cut in two.
If the feeler lever then goes back to its starting position, then all other levers also move back to their rest position (Fig. 2). When the pin 26 goes past the pawl 27 during this return movement of the parts, the latter can pivot out, since the pin 29 allows pivoting in this direction.
The thread therefore remains clamped in the clamping device which remains closed. The thread does not fall out of the clamp until the next bobbin change, when the parts move into the ready position according to FIG. 3.
So that the end of the cut weft thread is not carried back into the fabric and causes errors there, care must be taken that the weft thread is not caught between the front wall of the shooter box and the shooter, and that the latter may take it with it, and that furthermore, the thread end is completely removed from the area of protection. The formation of the upper edge of the contactor box front wall, the recess 35a on the same and the arrangement of the groove serve this purpose.
35 at the top of the shooter. In fact, as already mentioned, in the described training of these parts of the weft thread F is always free and can easily be pulled by the receding shear and clamping elements over the tapering, rounded and curved upper edge of the front wall of the gun box without the thread clamped between the front wall of the contactor box and the contactors. Also, in the form described, the @ Schützen front wall is not excessively weakened at any point.
