Thermal power plant. The invention relates to a thermal power plant in which the useful work is done by at least one gas turbine and at least one auxiliary machine supplied by a separate energy source is provided for rapid adaptation to increases in the load and consists in that the auxiliary machine with which the useful work power gas turbine is coupled.
The auxiliary machine can be designed as a steam turbine. In addition, the propellant gases can bezw. the combustion air compressing compressor, which is driven for example by a turbine, BEZW to accelerate its speed. be coupled to an auxiliary machine designed as a turbine to increase its delivery rate.
The exhaust steam of the auxiliary turbine is expediently fed into a capacitor Kon. This creates the possibility of being able to run its rotor in the vacuum of the condenser when the auxiliary turbine is not acted upon, when sealing steam is supplied to the stuffing boxes of the auxiliary turbine. The auxiliary turbine is expediently regulated according to the difference between the setpoint value and the value actually supplied for the amount of fuel intended for the gas heater of the system. The auxiliary turbine is expediently supplied with steam from a steam generator of the thermal power plant.
The steam generator can be formed by a memory that is connected to a heating body of the thermal power plant, for. B. one in the combustion chamber of the gas heater to orderly radiator, is in the circuit.
Two examples of the subject matter of the invention are shown in simplified form on the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a thermal power plant according to the invention, in which the propellant gases flow through the plant once; Fig. 2 shows another example in which part of the propellant gases circulates under positive pressure; FIG. 3 illustrates a memory such as can be used in the systems according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
The centrifugal compressor 1 (Fig. 1) sucks in air through the line 2, compresses it and conveys it through the line 3 into the combustion chamber 4 of a gas heater. Some of the propellant gases produced during the combustion flow through a line 5 into the gas turbine 6, which drives the power generator 7 and thus. Useful work. The exhaust gases from this turbine pass through line 8 to the outside. Another part of the propellant gases flows through the line 9 from the combustion chamber 4 into the turbine 10 and, after work, passes through the line 11 into the open. The turbine 1.0 drives the compressor 1.
The gas turbine 6 performing the useful work is coupled to an auxiliary machine 12 that is ausgebil Deten as a steam turbine. Next is also the compressor 1 for the combustion air with an auxiliary machine designed as a turbine. 13 coupled.
A steam accumulator 14 supplies the auxiliary turbines 12 and 13 via line 15 with steam when the load increases rapidly. The exhaust steam from the two machines passes through line 16 into the condenser 17. A pump 18 conveys the condensate back into the steam accumulator 14.
The memory 14 is arranged in the United combustion chamber 4 radiator 19 via the lines 20 and 21 in the circuit. A pump 22 takes water from the memory and conveys it to the heated radiator 19 from the propellant gas of the combustion chamber 4, from which it is returned to the memory 14 in the heated system and possibly partially evaporated state.
The shaft of the machine unit 6, 7, 1.2 drives a speed controller 23, that of the machine unit 1, 10, 13 a speed controller 24. The speed controller 23 influences the control element 25 in the steam line 15, so that when the speed falls BEZW. the through-flow section is enlarged with the falling sleeve. and with increasing speed respectively. increasing sleeve the cross-section is reduced.
Furthermore, the control slide 29 of the servo motor 30 is influenced by the speed controller 23 by means of transmission through the linkage 26, 27 and 28. The piston 31 is raised when the speed increases and is pressed down when the speed decreases. The speed controller 24 influences the control slider 33 of the servo motor 34 via the linkage 32. The piston 35 is pushed down when the speed increases and is raised when the speed decreases.
A cam disk 36 is connected to the piston 31 of the servo motor 30 via a lever 37. With the lever 37 is in turn via the linkage 38, the rule organ 39 of the fuel line 40 in Ver connection. Your burner 41 of the combustion chamber 4 is supplied with more fuel when the load increases, but less fuel when the load decreases. The Kol ben 35 is venscheibe 43 connected via the lever 42 with a cure. On the two cams 36 and 43, the two ends of the lever 44 roll, which is connected via a lever 4: 5 and a linkage 46 with the control slide 47 of the servo motor 48.
The piston 49 of the servomotor 48 influences the control element 50 in the steam line 15 in such a way that the auxiliary turbines 12 and 13 are supplied with steam when the setpoint of the fuel quantity required for the combustion chamber 4 of the gas heater is greater than the amount of fuel currently fed to the combustion chamber . Too large rule deflections are avoided by the stops 98 and 99.
If the load on the power generator 7 increases slowly, more fuel is gradually fed to the burner 41 by the controller 23 by slowly influencing the element 39 in the fuel line 40, so that the speed of the Maschi nenaggregates 6, 7, 12 due to the increased propellant gas generation within of the permissible degree of irregularity is maintained. Corresponding to the increased propellant gas generation, the speed of the machine unit 1, 10, 13 increases, whereby a decrease in the servomotor piston 35 is initiated.
During this control process, both the cam 36 and the cam 43 sink approximately simultaneously downwards, so that there is no significant shift at the hinge point between the levers 44 and 45 and therefore the control organ 50 in the steam line 15 remains closed as before . The auxiliary turbines 12 and 13 are therefore not supplied with any steam when the load increases slowly.
If the load on the power generator increases rapidly, the rotational speed drops more sharply, so that the control element 25 in the steam line 15 is initially opened. At the same time, the piston 31 of the servo motor 30 is also quickly pressed down. However, stops 98 and 99 prevent excessive deflection. The burner 41 is then fed an increased amount of fuel to the permissible extent. With the help of the cam 36, the control slide 47 is raised via the levers 44 and 45 and the linkage 46, so that the control slide 49 is pressed down and thus the organ 50 opens in the steam line. As a result, both the auxiliary turbine 12 and the auxiliary turbine 13 are supplied with steam.
The auxiliary turbine 12 supports the gas turbine 6, so that the rapidly increased load on the power generator can be absorbed without an unacceptable drop in speed. The compressor 1 is simultaneously accelerated by the auxiliary turbine 13, so that an increased amount of air is available for burning the increased amount of fuel.
The increase in the speed of the machine unit 1, 10, 13 causes the piston 35 to sink, so that the levers 44 and 45 and the linkage 46 via the cam 43, depending on the new, now established equilibrium, the steam supply to the auxiliary turbines 12 and 13 is reduced again by throttling the control element 50. When the new state of equilibrium is reached, the organ 50 is completely closed.
In the thermal power plant according to FIG. 2, the compressor 1 is fed through the lines 51 and 52 air, which passes through the line 53, the recuperator 54 and the line 55 in a first heater 56 in the compressed state. In order to be able to perform the compaction of the air with good efficiency, an intermediate cooler 57 is connected to the compressor 1.
In the heater 56, the air is split into two parts. A first part serves as combustion air for the burner 58, a second part enters the jacket 59. The combustion gases produced in the combustion chamber 60 are in heat exchange with the air fed into the jacket 59 in the heater tubes 61. The combustion gases pass through line 62 into a gas turbine 63, while the heated air is used to drive the gas turbine 10.
The exhaust air from the gas turbine 10 flows through the line 64 into a second heater 65. At the same time, a subset of the gases still containing a substantial proportion of oxygen is removed from the gas turbine 63 through the line 66 and also passed into the heater 65. The oxygen in the gases is used in the combustion chamber 67 to burn the fuel supplied to the burner 68. The resulting combustion gases flow into the heating tubes 69 and thereby heat the exhaust air from the gas turbine 10 that is guided into the jacket 70.
The re-heated air reaches the gas turbine 6 performing the useful work, while the combustion gases return through the line 71 to the gas turbine 63. The exhaust air from the turbine 6 flows through the line 72 into the recuperator 73 and from here through the line 74 via the cooler 75 back into the compressor 1. The exhaust gases from the gas turbine 63 are passed through the line 76 into the recuperator 54 and then flow through line 77 into gas turbine 78, from which they escape through line 79 into the open.
The hot air arriving through the line 72 and the hot combustion gases fed through the line 77 are used in the recuperators 54 and 73 to preheat the air fed from the compressor 1 to the heater 56. The gas turbine 6 performs useful work. Driving the power generator 7, on whose common shaft an auxiliary steam turbine 12 sits. The gas turbine 63 is kup pelt with the help of the transmission 811 with the gas turbine 10, -elche the compressor 1 drives.
The gas turbine 78 drives a pre-evaporator 81 which draws in air through the line 82. and this in a compressed state and cooled by the intercooler 83 and the end cooler 84 is supplied to the main compressor 1 via the line 52. With the common wave of the gas turbine 78 and the United poet 81 is an auxiliary turbine. 13 coupled. Another auxiliary motor 85 can be used to start up the system.
The two auxiliary steam turbines 12 and 13, which are connected one behind the other in the steam flow, are supplied with steam from the store 14 via the lines 15 and 86, which after work passes through the line 16 into the capacitor 17. The condensate is - removed from the condenser by the pump 18 and returned to the memory 1.4. For ventilation or Evacuation, a jet pump 87 is provided, which by means of the cooling water introduced under pressure, the air accumulating in the condenser 17 sucks.
In order to heat the contents of the storage tank, steam is fed to the heating element 19 by means of the pump 22 via the line 20 and, in an overheated state, is reintroduced into the water content of the storage tank 14 via the line 21. Sealing steam is fed to the stuffing boxes 89 of the auxiliary steam turbines 1.22 and 13 through a line 88, so that no air can penetrate through the stuffing boxes into the housings of the turbines 1.2 and 13.
It is thus possible to be able to run the rotors of the turbines 12 and 13 under negative pressure even when the turbines are not subjected to steam.
To regulate the operation of the system, a centrifugal regulator 23 and a pressure regulator 90 are provided. The two regulators influence the control element 39 in the fuel line 40 in such a way that the amount of fuel increases when the speed or pressure increases and, conversely, the amount of fuel is reduced when the speed or pressure increases. The regulator 23 influences the crest rod 92 and the lever 93 via the lever 91 and also the regulating element 50 in the steam line 15 via the rod 94, 95 and 96.
If the load on the Stromerzeu gers increases, the speed of the 3laschinenaggregates 6, 7, 12 first decreases, whereby the sleeve of the controller 23 is moved in the direction of the arrow; as a result, the rule organ 50 is moved in the direction of the + arrow. The turbines 13 and 12 are supplied with steam from the accumulator 14, so that not only the shaft of the gas turbine 78 and the compressor 81 are accelerated, but also the initially still existing difference between the load on the power generator 7 and the output of the gas turbine 6 is at least partially compensated for by the turbine 12.
The acceleration of the speed of the compressor 81 causes an increase in the pressure of the pre-compression. As a result, the pressure level is increased in the circuit leading from the compressor 1 via the heater 56, the gas turbine 10, the heater 65, the gas turbine 6 and the recuperator 73. By increasing the pressure level in the air circuit, an increased amount of fuel for the burners 58 and 68 is set by means of the pulse generator 90 and the control organ 39. As a result of this increase in the amount of fuel, both the performance of the gas turbine 6 giving off the useful work and the performance of the gas turbine 10 are increased.
At the same time, by increasing the amount of fuel via the lever 93, the initially initiated control is reversed again in that the steam supply to the turbines 13 and 12 is again reduced or completely shut off via the linkage 94, 95 and 96.
The memory 14 (FIGS. 1 and 2) can, as shown in FIG. 3, have a container 100 in which a vessel 101 is installed. Part of the water content is located in the container 101, another part is taken up directly by the container shell 100, so that two independent water levels 102 and 103 are created. Through the line 104, water is taken from the memory by means of the pump 105 and fed to a radiator of the thermal power plant. The heated water ge reached through line 106 back into the memory.
The pump 105 is driven by a motor 107 to which the elec trical energy is fed through a line 108. A control element 109, which is influenced by the pulse generator 110, controls the speed of the motor 107 respectively. the delivery rate of the pump 105 according to the measurement of the pressure in the memory. When the pressure rises, the circulation of the water is reduced, while when the pressure falls, the circulation is increased.
Another pump 111 ensures a constant circulation of the water in the storage tank. It sucks in the water at the bottom of the reservoir through the line 104 and presses it through the line 112 into the vessel 101. The water overflowing the vessel 101 then flows through the pipes 113 again in the lower part of the water content. This ensures an even temperature for both parts of the water content.
In the case of intermittent steam extraction from the reservoir, both the water on the surface 102 and on the surface 103 can evaporate. The baffle plate 14 prevents the water from being carried away by the steam. Any water residues that may be carried away can largely fall out of the steam in the recess of the baffle plate. The water that collects in the trough can then get back into the water content of the storage tank through the check valve 115.
The feed water is immediately fed through line 116 into line 104, so that it is first heated in the heating element (not shown) and only then combined with the rest of the circulating water, which is also heated, through line 106 > enters the memory.
The gas turbines, in particular the gas turbine which emits the useful work to the outside, can, as can be seen, be acted upon by hot air or by other hot gases. For example, especially when using gas heaters, in which the gases are heated in heat exchange, inert gases can be applied to them. As a gas heater or Propellant gas generators could, for example, also piston engines, aviation piston engines, etc.
be used. The propellant gases in the system can also be heated by exchanging heat from special heating gases. These heating gases can then also be used to heat the Ileizkörpe-rs 19 connected to the memory 14.
