  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Harnstoffderivates.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Harn  stoffderivates der Formel

    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man     4-Amino-          2,4'-        dichlor-    5'-     methyl        -1,1'-diphenyläther-        2'-          sulfonsäure    mit     Phosgen    umsetzt. Das neue       Harnstoffderivat    bildet als     Natriumsalz    ein  weisses, gut wasserlösliches Pulver, das sich  zur Verwendung als Mottenschutzmittel eignet.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>  20 Teile     4-Amino-2,4'-dichlor-5'-methyl-          1,1'-diphenyläther-2'-sulfonsäure    werden in  200 Teilen Wasser mit der nötigen Menge  10     o/oiger        Sodalösung    in Lösung gebracht. Zu  dieser Lösung gibt man 30 Teile kristalli  siertes     Natriumacetat    hinzu .und leitet bei  40-50o C     Phosgen    ein, bis eine Probe kein  freies Amin mehr anzeigt. Das abgeschiedene  Produkt wird mit Soda genau neutralisiert  und das     Natriumsalz    des neuen Harnstoff  derivates durch Zusatz von gesättigter Koch  salzlösung abgeschieden.

   Es wird nach dem  Abtrennen, Trocknen und Mahlen als weisses,  schön kristallines, gut wasserlösliches Pulver  erhalten. Die Ausbeute ist quantitativ.

Das neue Harnatoffderivat bildet als Natriumsalz ein weisses, gut wasserlösliches Pulver, das sich zur Verwendung als Mottenschutzmittel eignet.
