Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     wasseranlöslichen        Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man wertvolle,  insbesondere zum Färben von     Celluloseestern     und     -äthern    geeignete     Azofarbstoffe    erhält,  wenn man     Diazoverbindungen    von     4-Nitro-          1-aminobenzol    und seinen     Halogensubstitu-          tionsprodukten    mit     1-(N-Oxäthyl-methylami-          no)-3-methylbenzol    vereinigt.  



  Die neuen Farbstoffe zeichnen sich durch  ihre gute Ergiebigkeit aus und besitzen sehr  gute Echtheitseigenschaften. Sie übertreffen  die bekannten Farbstoffe ähnlicher Konsti  tution teils durch bessere Lichtechtheit, teils  durch grössere Ergiebigkeit und besseres Zieh  vermögen.    Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich nun auf  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasser  unlöslichen     Azofarbstoffes,    dadurch gekenn  zeichnet, dass man dianotiertes     2-Chlor-4-nitro-          1-amino-benzol    mit     1-(N-Oxäthyl-methylami-          no)-3-methylbenzol    vereinigt.

      Der so erhaltene Farbstoff gibt nach dem  Vermischen mit einem geeigneten     Dispergier-          mittel    auf     Acetatseide    lebhafte rubinrote  Färbungen, die sich durch sehr gute     Licht-          und        Nassechtheiten    auszeichnen.         Beispiel:       175 Teile     2-Chlor-4-nitro-l-aminobenzol     werden in der üblichen Weise dianotiert, und  die erhaltene     Diazolösung    wird unter Küh  lung mit einer salzsauren Lösung von 175  Teilen     1-(N-Oxäthyl-methylamino)-3-methyl-          benzol    vereinigt.

   Durch Zugabe von Natrium  acetat wird die freie Mineralsäure abgestumpft  und der gebildete     Farbstoff    hierauf abgesaugt,  gewaschen und getrocknet.

It has been found that valuable azo dyes, particularly suitable for dyeing cellulose esters and ethers, are obtained if diazo compounds of 4-nitro-1-aminobenzene and its halogen substitution products with 1- (N-oxethyl-methylamino) -3 are used -methylbenzene combined.



  The new dyes are characterized by their good yield and have very good fastness properties. They surpass the known dyes of a similar constitution partly through better lightfastness, partly through greater yield and better drawing power. The present patent now relates to a process for the preparation of a water-insoluble azo dye, characterized in that dianotated 2-chloro-4-nitro-1-amino-benzene with 1- (N-oxethyl-methylamino) -3- methylbenzene combined.

      The dye obtained in this way, after mixing with a suitable dispersant, gives acetate silk vivid ruby-red colorations which are distinguished by very good light and wet fastness properties. Example: 175 parts of 2-chloro-4-nitro-l-aminobenzene are dianotized in the usual manner, and the diazo solution obtained is treated with a hydrochloric acid solution of 175 parts of 1- (N-oxethyl-methylamino) -3-methyl while cooling - benzene combined.

   The free mineral acid is blunted by adding sodium acetate and the dye formed is then filtered off with suction, washed and dried.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasser unlöslichen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man dianotiertes 2-Chlor-4-nitro- 1-aminobenzol mit 1-(N-Ogäthyl-methylamino) 3-methylbenzol vereinigt. Der so erhaltene Farbstoff gibt nach dem Vermischen mit einem Dispergiermittel auf Acetatseide lebhafte rubinrote Färbungen, die sich durch sehr gute Licht- und Nassecht- heiten auszeichnen. Claim: Process for the production of a water-insoluble azo dye, characterized in that dianotated 2-chloro-4-nitro-1-aminobenzene is combined with 1- (N-Ogäthyl-methylamino) 3-methylbenzene. The dye obtained in this way, after mixing with a dispersing agent, gives lively ruby-red colorations on acetate silk, which are distinguished by very good light and wet fastness properties.
