Auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung sind sechs Ausführungsbeispiele des Erfindungs- gegenstandes dargestellt, wobei Fig. 1 und 2 im Aufriss bezw. Grundriss das erste Beispiel zeigen: Fig. 3 zeigt im Aufriss, mit Teilen im Schnitt gezeichnet, das zweite Beispiel;
Ski binding with heel link. Safety devices on ski bindings which release the shoe when the heel tension member is subjected to a certain tensile force are known.
The subject matter of the present invention is a further ski binding with heel tension members: d and a safety device, the actuation of which relieves the heel tension member in such a way that: the boot is at least partially free.
According to the invention, at least one of the binding jaws is pivotable and gela. stands with a locking member of the safety device in an effective connection, such that one caused by verse, pivoting of the foot, respectively on the cheek. Pivoting movement exerted by the jaws: the safety device actuated.
The safety device can have a lever on which the heel tension member engages in the sense of opening, as well as a latch. which holds the lever locked until the safety device is to be effective. The design can now be
that the pivoting of the binding jaw caused by pivoting the foot or Cheeks and a certain train in the heel link operate independently of each other parts of the safety device.
The pivoting movement of the jaw can BEZW. The jaws act on the latch and the train in the heel tension member opens the unlocked lever, or both the pivoting movement of the jaws or Jaws and the specific pull in the heel link can unlock the lever.
In the accompanying drawing, six exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, with FIGS. 1 and 2 respectively in elevation. Floor plan show the first example: FIG. 3 shows the second example in elevation, with parts drawn in section;
Fig. 4 shows essential parts of the third example in plan; Fig. 5 and 6 show respectively in perspective views. Cross-section the fourth example; FIGS. 7 and 8 show respectively in elevation. Floor plan the fifth example and FIG. 9 the sixth example in a perspective view.
In the first Ausfühitingsbeispiel according to FIGS. 1 and 2, 1 of the lever (safety lever) of the safety device is characterized by one on the ski \? fixed pivot point 3 is rotatable. The heel tension member 4 engages at 5 on the lever 1 and the train of the heel tension member causes the unlocked lever 1 to open. The latter is locked in its closed position by a bolt 6 that engages over a bent extension 7 on the lever 1.
The bolt 6 can be pivoted horizontally about a pivot point 8. Interconnected rigidly connected, pivotable about an axis 9 Bin binding jaws 10 act on a rear 'extension 11 of the bolt by means of two tabs 12 of the jaw connector. Two springs 13 act from opposite sides on the raised edges 14 of the tabs 12 and hold the jaws resiliently in their normal position.
Excessive pivoting of the foot causes pivoting of the jaws and thereby pivoting of the bolt 6 into the position shown in phantom in FIG. The lever 1 is thereby unlocked and, under the pull of the heel tension member, is pivoted into the position shown in phantom in FIG. 1, whereby the heel tension member is relieved in such a way that it releases the shoe.
The safety lever 1 can also be the tension lever for the heel tension member.
The embodiment according to FIG. 3 differs from the previously described in that the safety lever 1 can be unlocked not only by the pivoting movement of the jaws 10 but also by a certain pull of the heel link due to the same functional connection as in the first embodiment.
For this purpose, the lever 1 can be longitudinally displaced backwards against a spring 15, and if there is an internal pull in the heel tension member 4, the extension 7 of the lever 1 emerges from the area of the bolt 6.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, between the bolt 6 of the safety device and the jaws 111, the same functional connection is present as in the examples mentioned above. The horizontal pivoting of the bolt 6 can, however, only take place when a controlled pull in the heel tension member 4 releases the bolt itself.
By lugs 16 on the bolt 6, which intervene between the projections 17 of a cross piece 18, the bolt 6 is locked against horizontal pivoting until the cross piece 18 is withdrawn against the action of a spring 19 in the position shown in dash-dotted lines under the Ziig of the heel tension member becomes; only then is it possible to pivot the bolt 6 as a result of the pivoting movement of the jaws. The safety lever is omitted in FIG.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 5 and 6, the unlocking of the safety lever 1 takes place, as in the examples described above, by horizontal pivoting of the bolt 6 as a result of a pivoting movement of the jaws 10.
Instead of the springs 13, which oppose this pivoting movement with a resistance in order to avoid unwanted pivoting, the pivoting is opposed by a friction resistance. This is generated in that a cross piece 20 is pressed from below against the bolt 6 by springs 21.
Front extensions 22 of levers 23 rotatably mounted on the side of the ski, which at the rear end have a support point 24 for the heel tension member, press on the cross stick 20, so that if there is excessive tension in the heel tension member, the row on the bolt 6 is reduced. and its pivoting through the versehwenkliev,
the jaws are eased. In the embodiment of FIGS. 7 and 8, the safety lever 1 'has an extension 25 which protrudes upwards, on which the heel pulling member 4 presses, and a bend 26 is provided on the bolt 6, against which the lever 1' rests.
The latch 6 is in turn pivoted horizontally by the pivoting movement of the jaws 10 and releases the lever 1 'from which the heel tension member can slide off for the purpose of relaxation.
In the last exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 9, levers 23 mounted laterally on the ski are provided as safety levers, which levers support a support point 24 for the heel pull.
These levers 28 are locked in the tensioned position by rods 27 which are movable along the ski and in which a diagonal pull is produced. It is unlocked by. the Yerschwenkbewegung the jaws 10, which causes the horizontal Versehwenken a member 28, whereby a United displacement of a cross piece 29 takes place.
which latter acts on lugs 30 of the bolt 27 and brings about their displacement. The levers 23 can rotate upwards into the dash-dotted position, whereby the diagonal pull is canceled and the heel tension member is relieved.
Other embodiments are also conceivable within the scope of the invention. For example, the jaws can also be individually pivoted and, under certain circumstances, only one of the two jaws can influence a safety lever.
