Fig. 1 zeigt die Türe in geschlossener Stellung.
Lock on doors and other devices with a pivoting wing. The subject of the invention is a lock on doors and other devices provided with a pivotable leaf, which can be attached in particular to automobile doors, but then also to room or house doors, cabinet doors or other doors.
The lock according to the invention is characterized in that on the wing - except for an operating member, a pawl coupled with this and a rotatable cam bolt working together with this are angeord net, which the latter also serves to interact with a fixed stop, with the wing in the closed position the fixed stop engages in the cam lock and this engagement is secured by the pawl,
while the pawl is released from the cam lock when the control element is actuated to open the wing and the latter is released so that the latter is rotated when the wing is pivoted open due to interaction with the fixed stop and disengages from the stop, but in a predetermined position on Further turning is prevented,
while when the wing is closed, the Npckenriegel pushes against the fixed stop and is rotated back by the sem back into the engagement position secured by the pawl.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the drawing as an example, namely: Fig. 1 is a horizontal section through part of an automobile door with a set lock in the closed position, Fig. 2 is a vertical section through the lock housing with parts housed therein, and Fig. 3 shows the same section as Fig. 1,
but with the door open.
The lock shown has a lock housing 1 which is inserted into the interior of the wing of an automobile door between the two wing walls 2 and 3. In the upper and lower wall 4 and 5 of the lock housing, an axis 6 is attached, on which a cylindrical Noekenriegel 7 is rotatably mounted. This bolt has a longitudinal direction of the same extending the incision 8, which is in engagement with a stop 9, of the Türrah mens 10 when the door is closed.
The bolt 7 has two further longitudinal notches 11 and 12, one of which can come into engagement with the end 13 of a pawl lever 14 when the door is closed and the other when the door is open, which is rotatably mounted on the pin 15 fixed in the lock housing. The other end of the lever 14 has an opening 16 through which the rod 17 of the handle 18 located on the outside of the door leaf penetrates. The inner end of the rod 17 carries: a push button 19.
A spring 20 which is arranged between the lock housing 1 and the lever 14 on the rod 17 is constantly striving to put the end 1.3 of the lever 14 against the cam latch. A pin 21 prevents undesired shifting of the rod 17 inward, but the rod can be pulled outwards from the position shown in FIG. 1 by a certain amount.
Fig. 1 shows the door in the closed position. If the door is to be opened from the outside, the handle 18 is detected and a train is exerted on it. The spring 20 is compressed and the lever 14 is rotated so that the end 13 leaves the detent 11 and releases the cam lock.
In the meantime, the head 19 has come to the stop from the wall 3, and as a result of the pull exerted on the door, the stop 9 drifts against the surface 22 of the bolt that delimits the incision 8, causing the bolt to rotate in the direction of the arrow in caused so that the surface 22 slides past the outer edge of the extension 9.
After the bolt has been turned completely past the stop 9, it assumes the position shown in FIG. As soon as the door handle 18 is released, the spring 20 pushes the rod 17 inwards again and the end 18 of the lever 14 snaps into the detent 12 and holds the latch firmly in its position corresponding to the open position of the door.
If the door is to be closed, the wing is simply slammed shut or pulled from the inside by means of a handle or a pull cord, without the need to operate the handle 18. The curved surface 23 of the incision 8 on the bolt then abuts against the stop 9, which causes the bolt to rotate in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 3, while the end 13 of the locking lever 14 engages the detent 12 under compression of the spring 20 leaves and slides along the outer surface of the bolt until it is in the closed position of the door after the bolt has been turned from the stop 9 to that extent,
that the surface 22 comes to rest against the stop again, snaps into the catch 13 by the spring pressure. The door is now closed and can only be opened again by moving the handle bar 17.
To open the door from the inside, a pressure must be exerted on the button 19 of the rod 17 in order to move the rod. So that pressure is not accidentally exerted on the button 19, which could cause undesired opening of the door, it is sunk in a recess 24 of the inner door leaf wall.
It is also easily possible to sink the handle 18, since it only has to move in a straight line, into a recess 25 of the outer door leaf wall, so that the lock does not have any parts protruding over the door leaf walls, which is particularly advantageous for automobile doors. The lock mechanism described is extremely simple, and the door can be opened in a convenient manner only by exerting pressure or pulling on the rod 1.7, while the door is nevertheless reliably fixed in the closed position.
It is of course also possible to attach a locking device to be operated by a key on the lock described; For example, by means of a key to be inserted into the rod 17, a rotary bolt which can be brought into engagement with a fixed part of the door leaf wall can be actuated, which in its closed position fixes the rod against displacement.
