Trockenrasierapparat.
Dry shaver. The dry shaving apparatus known up to now work on the principle of ordinary hair clippers, in which two cutting combs are moved back and forth against each other.
With such Appara th, however, it is not possible to remove the beard hair flush with the skin surface, as this is only achieved today by shaving with a single blade, since the cutting plane of the apparatus is not up to due to the vein material thickness of the cutting comb lying against the skin can be brought to the skin surface; a hairline of around% o mm and more therefore always remains.
The present invention now relates to a dry shaving apparatus which can be designed in such a way that the whiskers are removed when the apparatus is used in a cut surface that corresponds to the skin surface.
The dry shaving apparatus according to the invention has for this purpose a knife roller with helically extending cutting edges on its cylindrical surface and a knife which rests with its cutting edge on the cutting edge of the knife roller and which includes an acute angle with its cutting edge with the latter.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the dry shaving apparatus according to the invention is shown together with a variant.
They show: FIG. 1 a view of the apparatus with a longitudinal section through the housing head, FIG. 2 a view with a cross section through the housing head and FIG. 3 a view of a variant with a longitudinal section through the housing head.
The dry shaving apparatus according to FIGS. 1 and 2 has a knife roller 1, which is designed like a milling drum in which cutters 2 are formed by helical millings. The axis 3 of the knife roller 1 is mounted in ball bearings 4 in a housing head 5.
To enable the knife roller 1 to be removed from the housing head 5, a side part 6 carrying a ball bearing 4 is detachably attached to the housing head 5 by means of screws not provided. The front of the Ge housing head 5 is open and is covered to one half by a knife 7, wel Ches connects to a longitudinal edge of the housing head, is supported by an axis 8 swingable on the side parts of the housing head and is so under the influence of a spring 9 that its cutting edge is pressed against the cutting edge 2 of the knife roller 1.
The edge of the knife ver runs to the cutting edge 2 at an acute angle. On the opposite longitudinal edge of the Crehäusekopfes a protective plate 11 is mounted on the side parts of the housing head 5 so that it can swing by means of an axle 10 and, in the same way as the knife 7, is under the influence of a spring 12, by which the free longitudinal edge of the protective plate 11 is pressed against the knife roller 1 becomes. Between the free longitudinal edge of the protective plate 11 and the cutting edge of the knife 7, only a narrow gap is open as the working area of the knife roller 1. The knife roller 1 is driven in such a way that the cutting edges 2 move in the gap against the cutting edge of the knife 7.
By cutting 2 of the knife roller, the whiskers should be set up and sheared off at the cutting edge of the knife 7 resting on the skin surface.
At the rear of the housing head 5 is a serving as a handle housing 13, in which an electric motor is installed, is closed. At the rear end of the housing 13, the power supply cable 14 for the electric motor is inserted. The stub shaft of the electric motor protrudes into a gear space of the housing head, which is separated from the storage space of the knife roller by a trough-shaped floor 15 and carries a worm 16 which engages in a worm wheel 17 which is mounted on a shaft 18 mounted in the gear space of the housing head sits.
A gear 19, which engages with an intermediate gear 20, is seated on one end face of the knife roller 1. The intermediate gear 20 is driven during operation by a gear 21 sitting on the worm gear shaft 18, instead of gears and worm drive, a flexible shaft can also be used as a means of transferring movement from the electric motor to the knife roller, in which case the motor itself with the necessary means for reduction the number of revolutions is provided. As FIG. 3 shows, the electric motor can also be accommodated in the handle in this case.
The formation of the Ge häusekopfes 5 'is here due to' elimination of the gears and the worm drive a more specialized. The housing head 5 'forms a trough 15' for receiving the knife roller 1 '. In the side parts of the housing head 5 '. from which one, 6 ', can be removed, the ball bearings 4' are installed, in which the axle 3 'of the knife roller 1' is mounted. A connection sleeve 24 and the end of the axis 3 'of the knife roller 1' protruding through this from the housing head are for the connection of the flexible) ÄTelle ?? formed, which, if the electric motor is installed in the handle 13 'of the apparatus, is inserted through the rear end of this handle 1.3'.
In this case, the power supply cable 14 'would be introduced at 23.
