Die Pumpe P besitzt also kein Ventil.
Device on rail vehicles for supplying and applying lubricants in order to reduce the friction between wheel flanges and rail heads. The invention is a device on rail vehicles to lead and apply lubricants to reduce the friction between wheel flanges and rail heads, with a lubricant pump and several Vorrich lines for applying the lubricant to a surface to be lubricated.
There are devices known for this purpose in which the lubricant pump is actuated by its drive member continuously running while driving via a clutch that can be engaged by means of compressed air. The engagement and disengagement of this coupling is caused by the movements of a bogie of the vehicle in relation to its car body, so that the pump only runs in the curves.
Since the engagement of the clutch, the suction of the lubricant into the pump and the excretion of any air penetrated into the pump, albeit a short time, the supply of lubricant to the points to lubricate only begins with these facilities when the bogie has covered a certain distance in the curve.
According to the invention, the lubricant pump is constantly driven when driving the vehicle, and there is a connection between the lubricant pump and the devices for applying the lubricant by means of a dominant control element, which is adjusted by a part of the vehicle that is related positions on the vehicle body in curves other than on straight tracks, and which connects the lubricant pump with at least one of the devices for applying the lubricant only in the curves.
In addition to simplifying the device, this means that the supply of the lubricant starts almost immediately after entering the curve. This is important because the friction between the wheel flange and the rail head is at its worst at the beginning of the curve.
The control element can conveniently connect the pressure line and the suction line to one another on a straight track. For the economical use of the lubricant, it is advantageous if only the surfaces of the head of the rail outside the curve and the flanges of wheels running on this rail are lubricated. Since there is only a low pressure and little friction between the rail inside the curve and the wheel flanges running on it, it is not necessary to apply lubricant there.
Where the application of the lubricant to a surface to be lubricated takes place by means of compressed air, a second control element can be connected to the connections of the lubricant pump with the devices for applying the lubricant by means of the dominant control element, which controls a compressed air line to the above-mentioned devices in such a way that that the compressed air line in the curves is connected to the devices charged with the lubricant and blocked on a straight track. In the drawings, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown.
Fig. 1 shows a vertical section through the lubricant pump of a first implementation form along the line I-I of FIG. 2; Fig. 2 is a horizontal section through the pump along the line II-II of Fig. 1; Fig. 3 shows a section along the line III-III of Fig. 2; Figures 4 and 5 show details of the lubricant pump; 6, 7 and 8 show a control valve for the supply of oil and compressed air to the lubrication points, FIG. 6 being a section along the line VI-VI of FIG. 7; Fig. 7 shows the control valve in a view from above, while Fig. 8 shows a side view of the valve; 9 shows the spray device for applying the lubricant in section; Fig. 10 shows schematically the arrangement of the individual parts and illustrates the operation of the first device;
FIG. 11 shows the piston of the control valve according to FIGS. 6 to 8, FIG. 12 shows a variant of the spray device according to FIG. 9. FIGS. 13 to 1.9 show the individual parts of a second embodiment, specifically FIG schematic arrangement of valve and spray devices; 14 shows a section through the pump and the control valve; 15 to 1.7 show different positions of the valve; 18 shows the section through a variant of the pump; 19 shows the section through a spray device.
The device according to FIGS. 1 to 11 has a pump P (FIG. 10), by means of which 01 is pressed through the pressure line 1. after a shut-off valve T '. This is closed with a line 3 to a control valve 8 , from which oil lines 4, 5 lead to the spray devices 0 at the track wreaths K of the rail vehicle. Another 011line 6 leads from the control valve S back to the suction side of the pump P.
A line 2 of a compressed air tank D leads to the shut-off valve t '; From this, another compressed air line 7 goes after the control valve 8, to which air lines 8, 9 are connected, which lead to the spray devices 0 in the vicinity of the wheel flanges K.
The control valve 8 is connected by means of a lever linkage G to the bogie of the vehicle or a sliding axle, such that the control valve S 'is adjusted when the vehicle is cornering, and when it returns to the starting position the vehicle leaves the curve.
The pump has a reservoir 10 for the 'lubricating oil. A plate 11 is attached to the reservoir 10. A shaft 13 is rotatably mounted on the latter. The drive can take place directly or by means of a gear wheel, chain wheel, etc., which can be attached to one or the other earth of the shaft 13; The drive is preferably carried out by the vehicle's speedometer drive.
A wide toothed wheel 14 is seated on the shaft 13. A toothed wheel 15 meshes with the latter. This sits loosely on a shaft 16, which is rotatable and axially displaceable in cylinder sleeves 17, 18, which are inserted into bores 20 of plate 11.
In the illustrated embodiment, one end 2.8 serves to guide the shaft 1i6, while the other end 29 works as a piston. For axial adjustment of the shaft 16, a self-contained control groove 21 running at an angle to the shaft 16 is provided in the hub 221 of the wheel 15.
In: the control groove 21 protrudes a lockable pin 25 of rectangular cross-section. The latter can be set using a scale 26 in the wall of the pump housing.
The shaft 16 winds due to the inclined groove 21 when turning to the right and left between an extreme left and an extreme right position. Depending on the position of the pin 25, these positions change. If, for example, in FIG. 2 the pin 25 is rotated so far that its diagonal is parallel to the axis of the shaft 116, while in FIG. 91 it is under a.
At an angle to the axis of the shaft 16, the hub 22 is displaced to the right during this rotation of the pin 25, since it comes to pierce over a corner. In this operation we think of ourselves as not rotating shaft 1i6.
Let's move. Now the hub 212 - in this position to the right until the left grooves wall against the corner! of the pin 25 abuts, the displacement of the hub 22 is smaller than when. the pin 25 assumes the position according to FIG.
This change in the displacement of the hub 212 by the differently adjusted journal 25 also changes the delivery conditions of the pump with the stroke of the piston formed by the Odem shaft end 29.
The piston '29 has a recess 310 (FIG. 4) on part of its jacket, from which a bore 23 leads to the front end of the piston. When the piston 29 is rotated, the recess 30 is set one after the other via the suction opening 31 and via the discharge opening 32 . The pump P therefore has no valve.
During the rotation and the simultaneous axial displacement of the shaft 1,6: the recess 310 is connected to the suction opening 311 when the shaft 1,6 moves to the right, the piston 20 moves outwards, and with the discharge opening 8-2, if the shaft 1i6 looks to the left,
the piston 29 moves inward. As a result, during the outward movement of the piston 20 01 is primed out of the container 10 and during the inward movement .through the line 1 to the valve V pressed. So that this interaction of rotational and axial movement occurs for each direction of rotation of the shaft 13, a claw coupling 3: 3 (FIG. 5) is installed between the cam body 22 and the shaft 16.
This enables the wheel 1.5 to be rotated on the shaft 16 when the direction of rotation of the shaft 13 is changed by approx. 1.80 '. If the pump is only to work with one direction of rotation of the shaft 13, so the wheel 15 is firmly connected by means of adjusting screw 24 in the corresponding position with the shaft 1.6.
The control valve V has a housing 40 which, by means of a flange, is attached to a fitting:
Part of the chassis is attached. On the housing 40, the compressed air line 2 is connected to a connector 43, which is connected to the container D and allows air to pass into the line 44.
A shut-off valve under the action of a spring is built into the compressed air line 44. The valve body 45 carries a piston 46 which is ground in the line 44 to fit well. The piston 46 ends above: the inlet channel 47 of the oil supply line 1. If the pump P is working, then 01 is conveyed under the piston 46 under pressure.
This will raise the valve 45 against the action of the spring 49. It can now bezw air from the channel 44. flow from the container D through the channel 50 (FIGS. 7 and 8) into a line 51.
The supply of air and oil to one or the other of the two Spritzvorrich lines O (Fig. 9) - is made possible by the rotation of the control member formed as a plug 41. This has a pin 42, on which the linkage G engages .. The chick has a groove for the passage of air and for the passage of 01 each. These grooves connect in the curves depending on the Position of the plug 41 dominated by the bogie of the car via the lever G, the air duct 51 with the duct 52 or the duct 53 and the oil line 3 formed as a duct in the housing 40 with the duct 55 or the duct 56.
In the straight line, the oil line 4 7 is connected through a bore 58 to the channel 5 7, while the air channels 51, 52, 53 are blocked from each other. The channel 5 7, like the reservoir 10, is connected via the line 6 to the suction side of the pump.
The oil channel 55 and the air channel 5? are on the lines 4 respectively. 8 with the one, the oil channel 56 and the air channel 53 via the lines 5 respectively. 9 connected to the spray device O opposite. When driving through a curve so the lubricant is always fed to only one spray device, namely one that injects the lubricant tel on the flange of a wheel running on the curve outer rail; The lubricant then also reaches the flank to be lubricated from this flange: the head of this rail.
When driving in a straight line, the 01 conveyed by the piston 29 into the pressure line 1 returns via the lines 3 and 6 to the suction side of the pump. Since the pump always works when the car is moving, it only requires the adjustment of the plug 41 through the rotating frame in order to immediately produce the air and oil supply to the spray devices. The purpose of the valve 45 is to prevent air from escaping via the open control valve through the connections 52, 53 when the vehicle is at a standstill in the curve. For this purpose, the piston 46 has FIG.
11) an annular groove 71, within which a piston diametrically durchset Zende bore 7 2 is provided. A screw 73 is screwed into the piston in the axial direction from below, which screw extends into the bore 72 and has a groove which increases in depth inwardly; 7-1 . The passage of air in this case is prevented by the fact that the oil can still slowly escape from the channel 47 through the groove 74, bore 72, ring groove 71 into the bore 55, 5, 6 (one - - There is no further oil supply due to the standstill of the pump P), whereby the piston 46 with the valve 45 lowers and blocks the passage of air from line 2, 44 into the channel 50.
According to the viscosity of the oil, the inlet cross section in the groove 74 can be enlarged or reduced in size by adjusting the vision hood 7 3.
In the spray device (Fig. 9) ends, the oil supply line 4 respectively. 5 in a channel 60 which opens into a channel 61 to which the nozzle 62 connects. In the nozzle bore is a needle 63 which is provided on a piston rod 64 provided with a closing element 68. The latter is displaceable in the channel 61 and carries at the other end a piston 6i5, which is arranged displaceably in a cylinder 6ss. A spring 67 acts on the piston 65.
This endeavors to keep the piston 65 and thus also the nozzle closure member 68 in the closed position. In front of the piston 65, the air line 8 or 9 off.
If compressed air reaches the piston 65 from the control valve S through the line 69, it is pressed to the right (FIG. 9) against the action of the spring b7. As a result, the nozzle needle is withdrawn and the nozzle-.opened; In addition, the piston 64 releases the rear opening of the channel 61 after the air line 69.
Oil can escape from the] channel ss0 and air .from the] channel 61 through the nozzle 62. When the nozzle needle 63 is actuated by the compressed air, which pushes the needle 68 back and forth with the aid of the spring 67 for the purpose of opening and closing, the nozzle opening is continuously cleaned.
To guide the compressed air, the Kol ben 64 is provided with grooves 70. The oil is sprayed by the compressed air in a fine jet onto the rubbing parts of the wheel flanges and these apply it to the flanks of the rail heads, where they are used, and which are guided.
Because of the high pressures between the wheel flange and the rail head, it is desirable to use thick oil. At temperatures below zero degrees, the latter is only insufficiently atomized by the outflowing air and gets onto the wheel in lumps that are thrown off at greater speed. It has therefore proven to be advantageous to make the oil thin just before the nozzle so that it can be atomized by the air as a mist onto the wheel flange.
This purpose is served by a preferably electrical heating device 80 placed around the oil supply 60 (FIG. 12).
The spray devices 0 could also be arranged so that they heads the rails instead of the flanges with oil.
In vehicles without compressed air equipment, the oil can be brought up by a resiliently grazing pin on the wheel flange, to which it is fed .in the same way as in the first embodiment. An embodiment of the device which is intended in particular for vehicles equipped with vacuum brakes are shown in FIGS. 13 to 19.
In the case of the railways mentioned, compressed air is not readily available on the traction vehicles, so that the arrangement shown schematically in FIG. 10 cannot be used. The pump P (Fig. 14) has a housing 84 in which a piston rod 85 is mounted rotatably and vertically displaceably. A cam disk 86 and a ball bearing 87 are seated on the latter.
The piston rod is pressed downwards by a compression spring 8 9 resting on the housing cover 88, so that the cam always rests on the roller 90. The ball bearing 87 has a hub 91 on which a screw raid 92 is arranged, the benrad meshes with a second screw 93., The latter sits on a shaft 94, which is set by some drive organ in rotation.
The lower end of the piston rod carries the Kol ben 9.6, which slides in a sleeve 97 and has a groove 98. In the sleeve 97 two bores 99, 100 are provided; A line 101 is connected to the bore 100, which opens out in the control valve S, the construction of which can be seen in FIGS. 14 to 17. An axle 105 is mounted in the valve S and can be rotated by means of a lever linkage G.
The axis 105 has a central bore 1.06, an annular groove 107 and two short grooves 10, 8, 109. The valve S also has two bores 1.10, 111, of which the lines 4, 5 lead to the spray devices 0.
When it is rotated, the piston rod 85 is simultaneously pushed back and forth in the axial direction as a result of the cam disc .86 running up on the rod 90. During the upward gear, the groove 98 of the piston 96 is on the side of the bore 99, whereby oil from the housing 84 is sucked into the free space under the piston.
During the downward movement of the latter, its groove 98 lies on the side of the bore 100; the oil is pressed through the same into the line 101 and reaches the control valve S, its lever linkage G, as in the first off management example is adjusted when driving in a curve, and on the one hand, the axis 105 rotates. As a result, either the groove 108 occurs:
the bore 110 or the groove 1109 to lie in front of the bore 111, from where that 111 conveyed by the pump through line 101, annular groove 107 and bore 106 in this groove, through the lines 4 respectively. 5 is passed to one or the other spray device 0.
With a nut 11-1 seated on the piston rod 85, the piston stroke and thus the amount of oil delivered can be changed within certain limits.
Fit 'o- shows a variant of the pump. 18. According to the same, a gate 121 is guided vertically displaceably in the housing 120. It lies on the eccentric 122: the drive shaft 123 and carries on the one hand a Ge threaded bolt 12.1, on the other hand a bolt 125, at the lower end of which a Seheibe 126 is attached.
Between the latter and the housing, concentric to the bolt 12.5, there is a compression spring 127 which is compressed when the 1227 is lifted, the gate 121 is compressed when it is lifted and is relaxed when the same is lowered. The piston 129 is located coaxially under the bolt 125 and is always pressed against the bolt 125 from below by means of its spring 130 and therefore follows its movements. When the piston takes the Labe shown in Fig. 18, the piston space has filled with 01 ge, which flows from the housing 120 through the channels 13.2.
During the downward gear, the piston 129 pushes the oil through the spring-loaded valve 1.33 into a space 131, from where it flows through the line 101 into the control valve S, which can be designed as shown in FIGS. 14 to 17. The piston stroke can, in turn, be changed by adjusting the nuts 135.
In the pumps according to FIGS. 14 and .18, the downward movement of the piston 96 respectively. 129 not although running through the drive, but by the spring 89 respectively. 127 causes. The piston only moves downwards until the force exerted by the oil pressure on its end face keeps the force of this spring in balance.
Except when the spray nozzle is blocked, this oil pressure is regularly set when the car is on a straight track, so that the rotary valve 1 (l5 does not connect the line 101 to any of the bores 110, 111 and that in the line 101 cannot escape the conveyed 01. Then, when the drive shaft continues to rotate in the embodiment according to FIG. 14, the running surface of the cam 86 separates from that of the roller 90 and in the embodiment according to FIG the running surface of the eccentric 122 from that of the upper cross yoke of the link 121.
Only after further rotation of the drive shaft reach: the running surfaces of the cam 86 respectively. of the eccentric 1.22 those. the role 90 respectively. of the link yoke again, and their movement causes the upward movement of the piston 96 respectively. 129 and the compression of the spring 89 respectively. 127. This mode of operation makes it unnecessary to connect the pressure line 101 with an outlet for the oil leading to the suction side of the pump, for example, when the drill holes 110 and 111 are shut off.
A spray device 0 constructed for operation without compressed air is shown in FIG. Slides through the supply line 4 respectively. 5 supplied oil reaches a chamber 140, the outlet opening 141 of which is closed in FIG. 19 by a nozzle needle 1.42. The resulting in every operation of the pump piston. Pressure is propagated into the chamber 140 and is able to lift the needle 142 against the action of the spring 143.
A quantity 01 corresponding to the quantity 01 conveyed by the piston sprays through the opening 141 onto the flange of the vehicle wheel or onto the rail head, whereupon the needle 142 closes the opening 141 again.
The devices without compressed air work expediently with an oil pressure of at least WO At.
