Zantfernspr echeinrichtnng.
Fig. 6 zeigt die elektrische Schaltung des Gerätes.
An die Leitun gen 4 ist die Sekundärwicklung eines Trans formators 11 angeschaltet, der dem sogenann ten Anpassungstransformator von Telephonie- anlagen entspricht und mit dem Ausgang eines einstufigen Verstärkers 12 verbunden ist, der die im Mikrophon 15 des Lautfern sprechers erzeugten Sprechströme verstärkt und in die Sprechleitung der Station 1 über trägt;

10 be festigt.
falls der Schalter 17 vor dem Auflegen. -des Handappaxates auf die Gabel bereits von Hand durch Niederdrücken der Taste-.88 eingeschaltet war;
Telephony facility. Loudspeaker devices or loudspeakers are devices that enable a loudspeaker and a loudspeaker to be placed freely in the room, i.e. at a considerable distance from the person speaking, instead of the usual telephone handset (microtelephone or any other combination of handset and microphone) To use the person's microphone.
The invention relates to that be special type of loudspeaker, in which the microphone and loudspeaker are switched via an amplifier at the same time to one and the same voice line of a telephone station in operation. These loudspeakers have so far not entered the practice because of the unpleasant appearance of the electroacoustic feedback, which is noticeable in the loudspeaker by howling or whistling.
The electroacoustic feedback is known to arise from the reaction of the sound waves coming from the loudspeaker on the microphone and through the electrical coupling between the microphone and loudspeaker circuits. The risk of interference from the electroacoustic feedback increases with increasing amplification of the outgoing speech streams. There is therefore the difficult problem of eliminating the electroacoustic feedback without significantly reducing the gain of the speech currents.
The invention makes it possible to solve this problem by the following measures: 1. The circuits of the handset are also switched to the speech line in loudspeaker operation in order to form a feedback-damping shunt to the .Stromkreisen of the device; For example, the handset is lifted. 2.
There is a voltage-increasing transformer (step-up transformer) by way of the outgoing speech streams after the microphone amplifier and preferably before the step-down transformer provided.
The effectiveness of this measure is significantly increased if there is a capacitor in parallel with the secondary winding of the aforementioned step-up transformer, the capacity of which is expediently chosen so that, when the electroacoustic feedback is suppressed, the greatest possible strength of the outgoing speech flows results.
The secondary terminals of the step-up transformer are preferably connected to the primary terminals of the matching transformer in such a way that the interconnection of the step-up transformer means that the microphone currents do not change direction; based on the microphone currents in the handset, in the speech line.
In addition to the two measures mentioned, other additional measures to suppress the electroacoustic feedback in the electrical part of the device can advantageously be provided by arranging capacitive means (capacitors) for the outgoing and preferably also for the incoming speech streams, which are switched and measured in such a way that they reduce the electroacoustic feedback.
In the previously known or proposed loudspeakers of the type mentioned at the outset, it has been seen necessary to take measures that the acoustic BEZW. affect the electroacoustic sensitivity or effectiveness of the furnishings, in particular measures that change the acoustic properties of the microphone and receiver of the handset.
if this is lifted from the usual union telephone station and placed in the position intended for loudspeaker operation. For this purpose, it has been proposed, for example, to lock the receiver acoustically from the outside and to insert the handset microphone into a housing which is either soundproof or has a special speakerphone.
The surprising finding has now been made that the inventive arrangement of a step-up transformer, in particular that with a capacitor connected in parallel, increases the quality of the call transmission and the feedback security so significantly that the aforementioned measures influencing the acoustic conditions of the handset are superfluous.
This finding leads to the new proposal to build the loudspeaker device so that the acoustic sensitivity. or the effectiveness of the microphone of the handset that is lifted off and preferably also of its handset in loudspeaker operation is the same as in normal telephone operation. As a result, the device can be made simpler and more space-saving and its operation can be made more convenient.
The arrangement of the step-up transformer also means that special precautions that weaken the feedback in the acoustic part of the electroacoustic feedback circuit can be dispensed with.
As a result, you can use simple and proven microphone types as loudspeaker microphones, for example those funnel-free types that are nowadays used in broadcasting technology, and you can arrange the microphone directly next to the loudspeaker housing and be satisfied with the adjustability of its height.
Since, therefore, no acoustically effective changes need to be made on the microphone and receiver of the handset that is lifted for the loudspeaker operation, the handset can be located at any desired place during a loud long-distance call and it is also readily permissible to hold it in hand. held by the ear so that it can be discussed as if on a normal telephone conversation.
If the handset is placed somewhere, it is only necessary to ensure that the electrical resistance of its microphone does not experience an impermissible increase, that is, that the microphone assumes the so-called active, that is, a vertical or approximately vertical position. In this case, his or her opening for an appeal is expediently turned towards the speaker.
Although the invention for loudspeaker operation allows the handset to be placed anywhere, it is still advisable to use a special device (fork, hook or the like.) That is used to hang up or hang up the handset lifted from the telephone station.
This device can, because it is no longer important due to the favorable effect of the step-up transformer on a certain, mutual position of the two microphones, form a structurally separated part of the loudspeaker from the loudspeaker microphone and, for example, on the loudspeaker housing, for example on its ceiling or on its side, be arranged. This device can be designed fer ner so that the microphone of the respectively placed. suspended handset can take the above-mentioned active position or, what is even more advantageous, must take it when properly supported.
It is also advisable to set up the switch that is used to switch the loudspeaker system on and off for manual operation, so that when the handset is lifted from the normal telephone station, you can do this at any time with a simple movement of the hand (e.g. pressing a button) the operating mode can change.
In this way, it is particularly possible to BEZW with the handset in hand. to make a long-distance call on the ear and, by appropriate manual actuation of the switch, to allow people who are in the same room to participate in the conversation as desired. excluded from this participation.
The hands-free use of the loudspeaker will predominate in most applications, however, and it is therefore advisable to design the loudspeaker in such a way that the aforementioned switch is also operated by the device used to hang up or hang up the handset that is picked up; can, in such a way that the switch is closed, so the speakerphone is in operation when the handset rests on the device or Vorrich. is hung.
It is advantageous to set up the mechanism so that the switch automatically returns to its off position as soon as the handset is removed from the support.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the loudspeaker according to the invention is shown. Fig. 1 shows an outline and Fig. 2 shows the associated floor plan of the device. 3 to 5 show on a larger scale than that of FIGS. 1 and 2, partially in section, in an elevation, side elevation and plan, the device for actuating the switch 17 of the device.
Fig. 6 shows the electrical circuit of the device.
First, the scarf device will be discussed with reference to FIG. 1 is an ordinary telephone station with a handset to which the speakerphone is to be connected.
This is done with the help of a plug contact 2, which switches the lines 3 and 4 to the voice line of the telephone station by connecting line 3 to the telephone terminals 5 and line 4 to the microphone terminals 6 of station 1. To the lines 3, the primary winding of the input transformer 7 of a two-stage amplifier 8 is connected, to the output transformer 9 of which a loudspeaker 10 is connected.
On the lines 4, the secondary winding of a transformer 11 is connected, which corresponds to the so-called matching transformer of telephony systems and is connected to the output of a single-stage amplifier 12, which amplifies the speech currents generated in the microphone 15 of the loudspeaker and into the speech line the station 1 carries over;
The microphone 15 is in the primary circuit 14 of the input transformer 13 of the amplifier 12 and is fed with direct current from the direct current source 16 (for example a mains connection device), which also supplies the heating current for the tubes of the amplifiers 8 and 12.
Through the switch 17, the heating of the tubes and the Mi krophone feed is turned on and thereby the speaker connected to the telephone station 1 is put into effect. With a voltage source 18 is referred to, which supplies the grid and anode voltages required to operate the amplifier.
Furthermore, polarity reversals 19 and 20 are provided in lines 3 and 4, which are set from the outset when the system is installed so that
that the best possible reception or Broadcast strength he is aiming for. The capacitors 21 provided in the secondary circuit of the transformer 11 of the microphone amplifier 12 serve a similar purpose,
which prevent a significant reduction in the current strength (caused by the winding of the transformer 11) and an earthing of the amplifier. The capacitance of each of these capacitors can be, for example, 2yuF.
According to the invention, when the loudspeaker device is switched on (switch 17 closed)
the handset of the ordinary telephone station 1 is lifted. As a result, the circuits of the handset (the known course of which is not shown in Fig. 6) are switched to the voice line and form a
the electroacoustic feedback damping shunt to the circuits of the loudspeaker shown in FIG. 6. This effect is further increased by
that capacitive means for reducing the electroacoustic feedback are provided in the loudspeaker for both outgoing and incoming speech currents, namely a capacitor 22,
that in the input circuit of the microphone amplifier 12 parallel to the secondary winding of the transformer 13.
and a capacitor 23, which bridges the first stage of the loudspeaker amplifier 8 (and possibly also its second stage),
by the grid circle of the first respectively. the second tube with the anode circle of the narrow respectively. the second tube of the amplifier couples.
The size of the capacitors 2 and 23 is to be selected in such a way that the smallest electro-acoustic feedback results in the greatest volume in both directions. Ales first reference point can be the
As a rule, the capacitor 23 usually has a much larger capacitance (e.g. 10 0 (10 to 20,000 cm). All of the capacitor 22 (e.g.
100 to 1000 cm). Even if the size of the capacitors has a considerable influence on the degree of suppression of the electro-acoustic feedback,
so the cheapest capacitance values are not very critical.
Furthermore, a step-up transformer 71 is provided in the output circuit of the microphone amplifier 12, and a capacitor 72 is connected in parallel to its secondary winding.
The primary winding of the transformer 71 is located in the anode core of the amplifier tube,
while its secondary winding is in series with the primary direction of the matching transformer 11 . The terminals are

The loudspeaker shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 has the type shown in FIG. 6 shown circuit. There are @ therefore also in the F'ig. 1 to, 5 the loudspeaker with 10, the microphone with 15 and the one for switching the,

The funnel-free loud microphone 1.5 is located at the upper end of a rod 80, which is inserted through the clamps 82 attached to a side wall of the loudspeaker housing 8.1 and at any height by means of a clamping screw 83 is fixed.
The microphone 15 is thus arranged directly next to the loudspeaker housing and can only be adjusted in its height. Tests have shown that, surprisingly, despite the proximity of the microphone to the loudspeaker, no whistling or howling caused by electro-acoustic feedback during operation,
occurs.
A fork 84 is provided as a support for the lifted handset of the (not shown) normal telephone station, which fork 84 is arranged on the ceiling of the loudspeaker housing 1.0 and so on.
is formed such that the acoustic sensitivity time or effectiveness of the microphone and receiver of the handset does not experience any change when it is on the fork 84.
So that the microphone socket assumes a vertical position during loudspeaker operation, the handset 85 is placed on the fork 84 in the position shown in dash-dotted lines in FIGS.
Horizontal side wings 86 fastened to the fork support the receiver and the microphone of the handset in the desired position, while vertical stops 8.7 force the handset to be placed correctly, that is, it is forced to hang up in the dot-dash position.
