Protective device for oil-filled electrical apparatus that responds to oil flow. The invention relates to a protective device for oil-filled electrical apparatus, e.g. B. for transformers, capacitors Kon, switches and cable systems. It has control organs, e.g. B. floats or baffle arrangements that actuate the electrical cal control circuits when operating faults occur. These mostly result from short circuits or flashovers, which result in strong gas development in the apparatus oil or leaks from the boiler, which cause oil loss.
Depending on the cause of the fault and depending on the location of the fault, the flow direction changes in different parts of the oil filling respectively. in cooling or expansion devices connected to the apparatus. If, for example, an oil expansion vessel is connected to the apparatus boiler, in the connection line of which the named control elements are installed, this connection line is in. In the event of a boiler leak, the oil should flow from the expansion vessel to the boiler.
In the event of short circuits and the resulting gas development, however, the oil is pressed into the expansion vessel in the opposite direction.
The invention takes advantage of this phenomenon. According to the invention, the protective device is designed to respond in both directions of oil flow. The response limit of the control elements is advantageously set so that it does not respond to the low flow velocities resulting from the thermal expansion of the oil during normal operation.
If, on the other hand, the flow velocity exceeds the response limit of the control elements, an instantaneous response is expedient, and since this usually involves severe short circuits or flashovers or large oil losses, the defective electrical apparatus is advantageously damaged by the control element disconnected from the grid.
There can be one or more control organs; which respond to oil flow, provided to protect the electrical equipment who the. If there is only one controller, it is advisable to use a float that responds to oil flow in both directions. The float can, for example, lie directly in one oil flow direction, while the opposite oil flow hits a baffle firmly connected to the float.
Besides this embodiment, the arrangement of several separately arranged BEZW is of course also. interconnected control organs conceivable. A specific oil flow direction is then assigned to each control element.
On the drawing several Ausfüh approximately examples of the subject invention are shown.
1 shows an embodiment of the protective device according to the invention; in which the housing 2 containing the float 1 is inserted in the connecting line between the electrical apparatus boiler and an oil expansion vessel. The pipeline 3 leads to the boiler, while the pipeline 4 is connected to the oil conservator. The Mün training points of the pipes 3 and 4 are in the walls of the housing 2 gegeneinan the offset BEZW. have different heights against each other.
The float 1, which can optionally be provided with a baffle plate or screen 5 to increase the effect, is arranged in the oil flow entering the vessel 2 from the pipe 3. Before the mouth of the pipeline 4, a baffle 6 attached to the float is seen before.
The baffle 6 and float can be firmly connected to their axis of rotation 7, for example. The rest position of the swimmer is given by stop 9. Since the swimmer 1 is only released by the currents caused by heavy damage, it is advantageous to leave it

<tb> lets <SEP> that <SEP> the <SEP> from <SEP> every <SEP> pipe <SEP> in <SEP> the <SEP> vessel only hits the float directly opposite the mouth, however on second swimmers not assigned to this direction of flow are passed over. This goal can be achieved, for example, by different angular positions of the pipe mouths against each other.
In FIG. 4, the pipelines are offset from one another by <B> 90 '</B>, for example. 18 and 19 are the axes of the floats shown in the top view.
Fig. 5 shows the arrangement of two storage flaps 20 and 21 with two separate axes of rotation. The storage flaps can also be seen ver with a common axis of rotation. Each of the two baffle flaps is only actuated in one direction by the oil flow.
In order to make the cause of the malfunction recognizable even in the case of minor damage, i.e. to train the protective device for separate responses to low gas development and low oil loss, it is advisable to divide the upper part of the housing 2 by a partition 30 into two chambers and in each Chamber to arrange a special float with separate control or signal circuits. The chambers must be completely filled with oil so that no air cushions are trapped.
This is achieved by vent cocks attached to the housing cover of the protective device and open during the filling process, which may only be closed when the chambers are completely filled with oil. Since such vent cocks are known, they were not shown in the drawing.
If in operation with slow oil loss after emptying the expansion vessel connected to the pipeline 4, the oil level in the lines outside the protective device has dropped to the level of the pipeline 4, then air bubbles 33 enter the chamber of the float 32 and bring it by lowering the oil level after some time to respond. If gases arise in the electrical apparatus boiler, they flow through the pipe line 3 first into the chamber of the float 31 and bring this float to trigger.
If the gas development is associated with a strong oil flow, the flap 20 responds, and if the oil loss is so great that a significant flow occurs in the opposite direction, the flap 21 responds. With this device, all causes of faults can be displayed separately.
The protective device can respond as follows: Slow gas development - gas accumulation in the relay - warning, slower oil loss - air accumulation in the relay -. Warning, rapid gas development - 'oil flow - from transformer to expansion vessel - tripping, rapid oil loss - oil flow from expansion vessel to transformer tripping.
