Tape winder with constant tension. The tension of the tapes running off of the intervertebral discs, that is, from tape reels, uie such in large numbers in cable machines of all kinds for spinning the cables with paper, rubber and the like. And also in other machines, is done by lateral pressure. As a result of the constant changes in the diameter of the intervertebral discs, the intervertebral discs cannot be constantly tensioned. In addition, each time you change the intervertebral disc, you have to adjust the tension according to your senses.
In order to achieve a constant tension, the bands have already been guided over tensioning levers arranged outside the intervertebral disc, which in turn influenced the braking of the reel spools. These facilities required a greater overall height, ie more space, and caused a reduction in the work speed BEZW due to the weight of this facility and its greater distance from the axis of rotation. Cable core.
The purpose of the present invention is to enable the intervertebral disc to be braked as a function of a certain braking tension, which acts equally from beginning to end regardless of the diameter of the intervertebral disk, and is completely independent of the skill and feeling of operation, and also after a disc change always remains pale strong.
The solution to this problem is based on the fact that the running tape is guided over a brake lever for braking the entire reel, that is to say the tape reel carrier with the intervertebral disc, and over a tensioning lever.
The brake lever and the clamping lever are mounted within the envelope surface of the brakable coil carrier disc and immediately next to the same on a support piece. The levers swing with the guide rollers attached at their ends to close to the circumference of the brake disc of the tape reel carrier. Expediently, only the tape guide rollers protrude beyond the circumference of the spool carrier so that entire tape winders can be brought right up to the winding point.
Any adjustability of the tape winder for right or left windings can be made possible by symmetrical arrangement of the individual parts and the setting of the tensioning effect by an adjustable, replaceable tension spring.
The object of the invention means a significant improvement in the braking device of the intervertebral discs in cable machines and all expiring discs that BEZW a braking. Tension of the unwinding belt requires, for example, rubber band disks in longitudinal covering machines. The belt tension always remains the same, regardless of the feeling of the operator. It does not require readjustment after changing the intervertebral discs. The intervertebral discs can be changed very quickly, as the aggravating diversions of the ligament via a number of pins can be omitted.
With a suitable embodiment, the thread tensioning device can also simultaneously serve as a monitor when the tape is unwound. If necessary, it can also cause the machine to be disengaged. The fastening of the intervertebral discs on the coil carrier can be reliable and simple. As a result of the tight mounting of the braking device at the winding point, the speed of the machines can be increased.
The performance of the machines equipped with the new tape winder is also greater in an expedient embodiment as a result of the faster intervertebral disc change and the elimination of any emotional re-examination of the tape tension.
In the drawing, the new tape winder is shown in one embodiment as a case of game. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the tape winder with the rollers in the rest position, FIG. 2 shows a section along AA of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a partial view with the rollers in the working position, FIG. 4 shows a side view of FIG 3, 5 show a partial view corresponding to FIG. 3 with the tape withdrawal reversed.
A reel carrier provided with a hub 3 and disk 4 is rotatably mounted on an axle 2 mounted in a conventional manner in a carrier 1. On its circumference, the disc 4 is provided with a braking surface 5. The outer end of the hub 3 is provided with a thread 6 so that a sleeve 7 can be screwed on. The tape reel 8 sits on a core 9, consisting of a wooden or metal ring, or just on a short cardboard tube. A rubber sleeve 10, which is slightly longer than the core 9, is pushed onto the hub 3 for the centric alignment and for the fastening of the core 9 on the hub 3 of the tape bobbin.
The rubber sleeve 10 fits easily into the core 9. After the tape reel 8 provided with the core 9 has been pushed onto the rubber sleeve 10, the sleeve 7 is screwed onto the hub 3 to such an extent that the rubber sleeve 10 is compressed by the sleeve until it becomes sufficiently tighter Seat of the core 9 with the tape reel 8 on the hub 3 of the tape reel carrier is reached. A loose disk 11 is then pushed over the sleeve 7 and attached to it. A special core 9 in the tape reel can be dispensed with in that the rubber sleeve 10 is given such a large diameter that it can clamp the tape reel 8 directly.
According to the exemplary embodiment shown, a pin 13 under the action of a spring 12 sits in the hub of the tape reel carrier. Holes 14 are provided in the sleeve 7 at short intervals in a helical line, into which the pin 13 can snap. Depending on the width of the tape reel 8, the hole 14 is selected for the fastening of the disc 11, which brings the disc 11 as close as possible to the tape reel 8 without exerting a lateral pressure on this. A support piece 15 is attached to the axis 2.
The support piece carries at its free end within the circumferential surface of the disk 4 and immediately next to it an axis 16 and also a projection 17 with a through hole 18 at both ends. A clamping lever is rotatably pushed onto the axis 16, which apart from one Leg 19 also has two legs 20, 21 lying symmetrically to one another. On the downward central leg 19 sits laterally a bolt 22 on which a guide roller 23 is rotatably superimposed GE, which lies in the plane of the tape reel 8. The other two legs 20, 21 are inclined upward and have holes serving as bearings.
On the side of the leg 20 sits a part 24 which carries a projection 25 which is parallel to the leg 20 and is pierced like this. In the same way, the leg 21 has a through hole serving as a bearing. On the side of the leg 21 is a part 26 which carries a projection 27 which is parallel to the leg 21 and is pierced like this. In the bores of the leg 20 and the extension 25, a pierced bolt 28 is rotatably mounted, in the same way in the bore of the leg 21 and the set 27, a pierced bolt 29. In the bore of the bolt 28, a pin 30 is used below the upper end 31 carries a collar 32.
On a threaded part, a nut 33 and Ge counter nut 34 is screwed against which a pushed onto the pin 30 pressure spring 35 lays, which on the other hand abuts against a loose washer 36 which, when the pin 30 in the bore of the bolt 28 is used, rests on this. The upper end 31 of the bolt is pushed into the through hole 18 of the projection 17. By pressing the spring 35, the tensioning lever 19, 20, 21 is pivoted so that the leg 19 supporting the guide roller 23 assumes the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2.
If the hinge disc is used in such a way that the deduction takes place in the opposite direction, the pin 30 is implemented in the manner described in the through hole of the bolt 29, where the leg 19 carrying the guide roller 23 due to the symmetrical arrangement of the two Legs 20, 21 deflects in the opposite direction (Fig. 5). By adjusting the nuts 33, 34, the tension of the spring 35 can be regulated.
In addition to the clamping lever 19, 20, 21, a brake lever 37 is pushed onto the axis 16 ben on which. a brake pad 38 is seated, which lies in the area of the braking surface 5 of the disc 4. On the brake lever 37 sits a bolt 39 on which a guide roller 40 is rotatably superimposed, which, like the guide roller 23, lies in the plane of the intervertebral disc 8. The He belarm 37 is provided over its pivot point upwards with a bent at an angle Ver extension 41 (Fig. 1), against which the legs 20, 21 can put.
In the bolts 28 respectively. 29 of the respective free leg 20 respectively. 21 of the tensioning lever, a disengagement intermediate member 42 can be inserted (Fig. 3), through which the shutdown of the machine is caused when the tape runs out or breaks. The way in which this release device works depends on the particular construction of the machine.
It therefore acts through the movement of the leg 20 respectively. 21 the intermediate member 42 inserted into this on a release device. 43 is the cable to be wrapped with tape or the like.
The running from the tape reel 8 tape is first to the guide roller 40 ge leads. If the tape is pulled off via the guide roller 40, it first pushes the lever 37 in the direction of the arrow u (FIG. 2) and presses the brake pad 38 against the braking surface 5, so that the free run of the tape from the tape reel is inhibited.
If the belt is now passed further over the guide roller 23 and withdrawn in the direction v, the increased tension causes the leg 19 carrying the guide roller 23 to be pivoted against the action of the spring 35 and to the work shown in FIG position. The leg 19 of the tensioning lever is due to the tension by the spring 35 to the tape withdrawal resistance, which can be regulated by appropriate choice of the quickly replaceable and adjustable spring.
The tension of the tape is achieved by appropriate braking of the tape reel carrier with the tape reel sitting on it. The strength of the tension is determined by the pressure of the leg 19 of the clamping lever against the tape. Either the tape reel carrier is always braked even when the tape is undrawn, then the tensioning lever is used to release the brake through its deflection as Bandver progresses, or the tape reel carrier is only braked when the tape is pulled from the tape reel. The latter case is shown in the exemplary embodiment.
Pressing the resilient tensioning lever against the spring pressure has the consequence that the paper tape no longer exerts the pulley-like effect on the brake lever 37 (FIG. 1) due to the lesser looping of the guide roller 40. The pressure of the brake pad 38 becomes weaker and is ultimately no longer sufficient to hold back the tape reel carrier with the tape reel B. If the tape reel would rotate about too fast and there is too much tape. the clamping lever leg 19 would be pressed back by the spring 35 accordingly. As a result, the wrapping of the belt on the guide roller 40 would be greater again, so that the lever 37 with its brake pad 38 again presses more strongly against the braking surface 5.
The tension of the tape is therefore ultimately dependent on the pressure of the tension lever leg 19 against the tape, un dependent on the size of the running tape reel.
From the guide roller 23 of the clamping lever leg 19, the tape runs directly onto the cable 43 without being passed over any pins.
Of course, band spinners with this braking can also be used as central spinners and tangential spinners.
Error-free work also means that the machine is automatically shut down as soon as a belt runs out or breaks. The tensioning lever expediently also causes the machine to stop as soon as the tape no longer offers any resistance. This shutdown can be triggered mechanically or electrically.
If the clamping lever hits unchecked, the intermediate member 42 is pushed ver. A back stop is attached to the machine in which the spinner is used, and the machine is then disengaged when it is touched. If the direction of flow of the tape is changed GE, both the pin 30 with the spring 35 and the intermediate member 42 are switched.
Where mechanical actuation of the disengagement is difficult, the arrangement can also be made so that one of the levers, e.g. B. the brake lever 37, is arranged in isolation and a current circuit is closed by deflection of the leg 19 of the clamping lever. The extension 41 of the brake lever 37 serves to limit the deflection path of the tensioning lever. By stopping the leg 20 respectively. 21 to the United extension 41, the circuit can be closed at the same time to shut down the machine in a known manner.
The screw shown in the example benverriegelung the disc 11 can also be replaced by another lock who the. Instead of the helically arranged holes, the setting of the disk 11 could also be done by turning pointed, toothed rings into the sleeve 6 and the resilient pin 12 engaging one of the rings with a tooth: Other clamping devices can also be used. The disk 11 can also be permanently connected to the sleeve 7 not only temporarily, but permanently. Operation would be simplified here through or through a quick-release fastener for certain intervertebral disc widths.
In FIG. 3, the tape winder is shown in the working position with a pin 30 with a spring 35 inserted in the leg 20. If the tape winder is rotated in the direction of the arrow w, the tape, as the drawn line shows, is wound around the cable or the like in the direction of the arrow w '. If the direction of rotation is reversed (arrow x), the belt moves, as the broken line shows, in the direction of arrow x 'around the cable.
Fig. 5 shows the reverse insertion of the pin 30 with spring 35 in the leg 21. When the tape winder is rotated in Rich device y, the tape, as the drawn line shows, in the direction of arrow y 'around the cable. If the direction of rotation is reversed (arrow z), the tape is, as the broken line shows, wrapped around the cable in the direction of arrow z '.
