Description

Falzdachziegel.

Interlocking roof tiles. The invention relates to a rebate roof tile, which is provided on both long sides with a rebate, which sits a swallow-tailed incision, whereby the outer and inner side surfaces of the rebates are inclined and parallel to each other to secure.

On the drawing is an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention in, its application in the production of a roof covering is illustrated, namely represents:

1 shows the folded roof tiles in the arrangement of two roof tile layers lying one above the other in the diagram, FIG. 2 shows a cross section through a roof tile layer.

The roof tile a shown is provided on one long side with an upper fold b and on the other long side with a lower fold c. Both folds are seen with a sohwalvetail-shaped incision d ver.

The outer surfaces 1 and the inner surfaces 2 of the folds b and c provided with dovetail-shaped incisions d are here inclined and parallel to one another.

Such a design enables roof tiles of this type to be assembled in the manner shown in FIG. 2 so that the fold of one tile engages in the fold of the adjacent tile so that .die inclined fold surfaces of one roof tile on the inclined fold surfaces of the neighboring If the wind pressure exerted on the roof tiles from below, the roof tiles experience a support that prevents the roof tiles from lifting off.
