Throwing in at self-sellers for coins of different values. The self-seller, which forms the subject of the main patent, for the use of coins of different values has a slide in a transparent coin drum, which is pushed back by the introduction of a coin, and switching elements controlled by this slide, the slide depending on the coin diameter Adjusts switching elements so that switching elements adjust the default shaft of the self-seller according to the value of the coin when the coin is passed through.
For structural reasons, these self-sellers cannot be created for any number of coin denominations, and you normally did not go beyond three values. Lately throws have now been proposed for self-sellers, in which more than three types of coin, preferably five, can be used. These arrangements are based on intercalation device of a translation between the slide moved by the coin and a second, respectively, the slide bearing the switching elements. on the application of at least two instincts that are inevitably connected with the default wave of the self-seller.
These arrangements require, except for the doubled arrangement of the drive of the default shaft, gear to achieve the translation BEZW. for the connection of these two drives with each other.
The present invention aims to be able to use a larger number of coin values in a self-seller while maintaining the advantage of being able to avoid two drives for the default shaft, as well as avoiding special gears.
According to the invention, when thrown in at self-sellers for coins of different values, with switching elements, which act temporarily on a drive of the self-sellers' input shaft by pushing a coin back in a rotating coin drum, depending on the size of the coin A disc connected to the slide and provided with recesses on axially displaceable tooth segments representing the switching elements, such as
that the recess corresponding to the inserted coin with respect to \ v. Recesses of the disc BEZW the corresponding tooth segment. allow the tooth segments a shift that its respectively. their engagement in the drive of the default shaft when rotating the coin drum results.
The drawing shows an embodiment example of the invention, with the self-seller only the apparent end to understand the inven tion is shown.
Fig. 1 illustrates a cross section, and Fig. 2 is a view from the left of Fig. 1 with parts in section; 3 and 4 show details in a perspective view.
In the housing 19, a coin drum 18 is mounted, which is connected via an angular gear 17, 5 with the axis 2 of a manual means for actuating the insert, which is not shown in the drawing. In the coin drum 18, a slide 20 is net angeord in a coin chamber, which is in the rest position under the influence of a spring, not shown, with its end wall in the outer surface of the coin drum and closes the coin slot 21.
On the slide 20, a bolt 86 is arranged against which the radially extending gante 87 of the section of a loosely rotatable bar on the coin drum shaft seated disc 88 rests under the influence of a spring 89. The disc 88 has two holes 90, 91 and recesses 92, 93, 94, 95, 96 and 97 on its edge; in a recess of the coin drum 18 and is covered by a disc 98 fixed on the coin drum.
A cup-shaped connecting piece 99, which carries a disk 100, is attached to the disk 98. Rods 1 01, 102, 103 and 104 are displaceably mounted in holes in disks 98, 100. The movement paths of the rods 101, 103 and 104 intersect with the movement paths of the recesses 92 to 97 and the movement path of the rod 102 intersects with the movement paths of the holes 90, 91.
Hubs 105, each of which has a toothed segment 106, 107, 108 or 109 and one stop each 110, 111, 112 or. 113 have. The toothed segments 106, 107, 108 and 1.09 are secured against twisting by resting against the cylindrical surface of the connecting piece 99 and are toothed at their outer limit, the segment 106 having one tooth, the one 1.07 six teeth and those 108 and 109 each have twelve teeth.
Springs 114 seek to move the rods 101 to 104 in the direction towards the disk 88, but what they are prevented in the rest position of the throw-in, as described below ben. In this situation be the toothed segments 106, 107, 108 and 109 are outside the sphere of influence on eire drive 36 of the not shown before the self-seller's shaft.
The housing 19 is closed by a cover 115 to which a segment 116 with an angular cross section is connected. The leg 116a of this segment serves as a support for the stops 11.0, 1'11, 112 and 113 and thereby holds the rods 101 to 104 outside the area of the disk 88.
The limb 116a is shaped into a run-up track at 116e and made narrower at Ilse by a step and the stops 110 to 113 are so long that those 110, 111 to in the zone of the narrowed continuous part of the leg 1.16a protrude. while those 112 and 113 do not extend into this zone.
According to the exemplary embodiment, it is assumed that the slot can be used for five coin values of the English coin system, namely for penny, sigpence, shilling, 2 shilling and 21 - \ # - shilling pieces. In the rest position of the throw-in, the stops 110 to 113 all rest on the leg 116a, so that the springs 114 are tensioned and the toothed segments 106 to 109, as mentioned, are outside the sphere of action on the drive 36 are located.
If, for example, a penny piece is now inserted into the coin slot 21, the slide 20 pushed back by it rotates the disk 88 by so much that its recess 92 comes to rest under the rod 101.
In this setting, the remaining rods 102, 103, 104 lie opposite parts of the disk 88. If the coin drum 18 is now rotated by manual means for the purpose of passing the coin through, the stop 110 at the end of the support leg 116a can fall off, as the rod 101 can pass through the recess 92 under the influence of its spring 114 and strikes against the coin drum 18. Here by the toothed segment 106 is brought into the plane of the drive 36 and rotates this in the further course of the rotation of the coin drum 18 by one tooth.
The remaining toothed segments 107, 108, 109 can not get into the plane of the drive 36 with the water rotation, since the rods 102, 103, 104, if they are given by the support leg 116a free, come to stand against the disc 88, the this means that this prevents the movement of these tooth segments in the plane mentioned. In the further course of the rotation of the coin drum 18, the stop 110 reaches the run-up track 116b and the rod 103 is raised and moved back into its rest position, i.e. the toothed segment 106 is moved out of the sphere of influence on the drive 36 and back in series with the other tooth segments 107 to 109 brought.
When the coin drum 18 has made a complete revolution, the various parts mentioned are again in the rest position and the coin has passed through. For the setting of the coin drum 18 to the rest position and the protection against fraud means are provided that are not explained in the application because they are basically known in self-sellers.
If a Sigpence piece is inserted into the coin slot 21, the slide 20 rotates the disk 88 by so much that the hole 90 comes to lie under the rod 102. In this position of the disk 88, the rods 10.1, 103, 104 are opposite parts of this disk, so that when the coin drum 18 is rotated during the pass-through movement, only the toothed segment 107 comes into the plane of the drive 36 and rotates it by six teeth.
The stop 111 of this tooth segment 107 falls, as when the penny piece is passed through, at the end of the support leg 116a and, after the drive 36 has been rotated, is raised again from the run-up track 116b.
The introduction of a shilling piece into the coin drum 18 results in an adjustment of the disk 88 with the recess 95 under the rod 104, in which position the rods 101, 102, 103 parts of the disk 88 are opposite. When the coin is sluiced through, the stop 113 falls on the offset 116c of the leg 116a, so that the toothed segment 109 engages with the drive 36 and rotates it by twelve teeth.
A two-shilling piece pushed into the coin slot 21 causes the disk 88 to rotate by so much that the recesses 93 and 96 come to lie under the bars 103, 104, the stops 112, 113 of which when they are passed through at the deposit 116e </ B> fall from leg 116a. Accordingly, the toothed segments 108, 109 come into engagement with the drive 36 and rotate this through twenty-four teeth.
The use of a 21 / shilling piece causes the hole 91 and the recesses 94 and 97 to get under the rods 102, 103 and 104, so that when this piece of money is passed through the tooth segments 107, 108 and 109 into the sphere of influence on the Drive 36 come and turn it by thirty teeth.
The arrangement of paragraph 1.16c aims to ensure that the segments 108, 109, each with twelve teeth, have sufficient free travel before the action, and with certainty and regardless of the speed at which the manual device is operated, to get these segments into the sphere of influence on the triel> 36.
For the fewer teeth pointing segments 106, 107 , a smaller free travel is sufficient, as is given by the longer part of the leg 11.62.
Through the use of interest components, which are controlled according to the respective line to be passed through, a simplification in the construction of a self-seller for a larger number of different coin values is achieved by transferring the value of the coin to the Default device of the self-seller only one drive is necessary and special gears are avoided.
