La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif pour la fixation d'un manche dans un outil, caractérisé par un manchon métal lique destiné à être introduit dans un alésage de l'outil, ce manchon présentant au moins une languette formé par découpage de la paroi du manchon et dont l'extrémité libre est recourbée latéralement vers l'extérieur pour venir en prise, lorsque le manche est introduit dans le manchon, avec la paroi de l'alésage de l'outil.
Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem ple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'in vention.

La fig. 4 est une vue en coupe suivant II-II de la fig. 1, le manche étant introduit dans le manchon. Le manchon cylindrique 1 représenté est en laiton par exemple, et présente quatre fentes longitudinales 2, s'étendant sur une partie de sa longueur à partir de l'une de ses extrémités et divisant le manchon sur cette longueur en quatre parties 3, dont les extrémités sont susceptibles d'effectuer un certain mouvement radial; chacune des parties 3 comporte une languette longitudinale 4, formée par découpage de la partie de paroi 3 et reliée, par son extrémité 5 non découpée, avec la partie 3 correspondante.
L'autre ex trémité 6 de ladite languette 4 se termine en pointe et est recourbée latéralement vers l'extérieur du manchon; dans la paroi de ce dernier est ménagé un orifice 7, destiné à étre traversé par une goupille non-représen- tée permettant de rendre le manchon solidaire d'un manche 8.
Lorsqu'il s'agit de fixer le manche 8 dans l'alésage 9, d'un outil en bois, le manchon représenté est utilisé comme suit: chacune des languettes 4 est préalablement courbée vers l'intérieur du manchon 1, de façon que son extrémité 6 ne dépasse pas la surfaeë extérieure de celui-ci, le manchon était en suite introduit dans l'alés.ige 9; puis le inaii- che 8 est forcé dans le manchon 1 de f,içon que les extrémités 6 des languettes 4 pénètrent dans la paroi en bois < le l'alésage 9;
une goupille est alors introduite dans l'orifice 7, pour solidariser le manchon avec le manche 8.

The other end 6 of said tongue 4 ends in a point and is curved laterally towards the outside of the sleeve; in the wall of the latter is formed an orifice 7, intended to be crossed by a pin, not shown, making it possible to make the sleeve integral with a handle 8.
