Description

  

  Reiniger für den äussern Ohrkanal.    Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Rei  niger für den äussern Ohrkanal und ist ge  kennzeichnet durch einen an seinem Vorder  teil mit einem Gummiüberzug versehenen  Stift, der in eine Hülse eingesteckt ist und mit  Watte umwickelt zu werden bestimmt ist.  Um den Gummiüberzug bei Nichtgebrauch  des Reinigers vor     Beschädigungen    und     Un-          reinigkeiten    schützen zu können, wird der       Reinigerstift    zweckmässig so ausgebildet, dass  er aus der Hülse     herausgezogen    und umge  kehrt wieder in dieselbe eingesteckt werden  kann, damit der Gummiüberzug in das Innere  der Hülse selbst zu liegen kommt.  



  Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungs  beispiel des     Erfindungsgegenstandes    darge  stellt, und zwar in       Fig.    1 im Längsschnitt und in       Fig.    2 in Ansicht.  



  Der Hülsendeckel 1 ist an seiner Innen  wand schwach konisch gehalten, so     dass:    er  fest auf die Hülse 2     aufgestülpt    werden  kann. Der Innenraum der Hülse 2 ist als       Wattereservoir    bestimmt. In die Öffnung des    konisch auslaufenden Vorderendes der Hülse  2 ist ein     Reinigerstift    3     eingesteckt,    welcher  an dem herausragenden Ende mit einem  Gummiüberzug 4 versehen ist. Der Überzug  4 ist vorne geschlossen und aus weichem,       elastischem        Gummi    hergestellt.     Reinigerstift          und    Gummiüberzug können ein einziges  Stück aus ein und demselben Material bilden.  



  Zum Gebrauch des dargestellten Rei  nigers wird zuerst der vorne in die     Hülse    ein  gesteckte Stift herausgezogen. Hierauf aus  dem     hintern    Ende der Hülse ein     streifenför-          miges    Stück Watte     entnommen    und dieses  auf den Gummiüberzug des Stiftes aufge  wickelt, worauf die     Reinigung    des Ohrkanals  beginnen kann. Bei richtigem Drehen des       Reinigerstiftes    im Ohrkanal wird infolge der  grossen     Reibung    der Gummioberfläche der       Wattestreifen    sich     mitdrehen.

A cleaning stick 3 is inserted into the opening of the conically tapering front end of the sleeve 2 and is provided with a rubber coating 4 at the protruding end. The cover 4 is closed at the front and made of soft, elastic rubber. The cleaning stick and rubber cover can form a single piece of the same material.



  To use the Rei nigers shown, the pin inserted into the front of the sleeve is first pulled out. A strip-shaped piece of cotton wool is then taken from the rear end of the sleeve and this is wound onto the rubber coating of the pen, whereupon cleaning of the ear canal can begin. If the cleaning pen is turned correctly in the ear canal, the cotton swab will also turn due to the high friction of the rubber surface.
