Valve arrangement with high pressure housing for air protection devices. The invention relates to a Ventilanord tion with high pressure housing for respiratory protection devices, on which a provided with a screw, for controlling an oxygen supply valve serving control lever is mounted. The set screw is used to carry the pressure of the control lever on the valve seat.
So far, it has been customary to attach a through-drilled screw over a membrane arranged in the housing, the through-hole serving as a guide for a pin acted upon by the adjusting screw. With this device there is a risk that dirt or corrosion products of the material will settle between the guide hole and the pin, so that the latter is hindered or completely inhibited in its free mobility.
According to the invention, this disadvantage is remedied in that a pressure body connected to the membrane and guided in a screw ring serving to fasten the membrane is arranged in the housing underneath the adjusting screw, which by means of a pin penetrating the membrane on the to lift the closure piece from Seat of the oxygen supply valve serving the square pin presses.
The pressure body is preferably given a shape that gradually widens towards the bottom. It is then advantageously supported with the broad side on the membrane, while the upper narrow side advantageously serves as a pressure surface for the adjusting screw running in a spherical cap.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely Fig. 1 shows a vertical section, and Fig. 2 is a view from the side thereof.
The oxygen passes through the pipe socket a and the bore b in the central bore c of the housing. At the ends of the water hole, the push button valve d and the pressure reducing valve e are arranged, whose with lateral play in the hole c guided closure plugs c, and c., Are under the pressure of a common spring f. The pressure gauge, not shown, is connected to the connector g.
The control lever 1i to be connected to the breathing bag of a breathing apparatus, not shown, rests rotatably in the bearing;, k and is provided with the adjusting screw L. When the breathing bag collapses, this lugs the ball-shaped end onto the pressure body, which is connected to the membrane and receives a pin o penetrating this membrane,
which in turn presses on the square pin p serving to lift the closure piece cl from the valve seat r '. The oxygen flows from the bore c through the.
Bore of the valve seat r 'along the pin p into the chamber zc, closed off at the top by the 1 (enibran i ?, next to this through the dotted line in Fig. X into the zii in connection with the valve box of the protective device setting pipe socket J. The pressure hull ni is loose in the screw ring i used to fasten the membrane ir
guided. so that it cannot get stuck even if dirt particles penetrate. The control lever h is. as from Fig.? can be seen about its pivot point i. extended downwards at an angle so that it can be pressed by hand onto the pressure body ? yes by means of the pressure bolt f under the pressure of the spring s. So it can also act as a push-button valve for manual operation.
