Verkehrsmarkleruugseinrichtung.

Traffic marking facility. The subject of the present invention is a traffic marking device with a marker strip consisting of concrete formo pieces, which replace the improvisations practiced at the moment of applying paint to the street covering or the metal buttons that protrude at intervals over the street covering by a one-time expenditure without additional maintenance costs can.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject of the invention are shown in longitudinal section in FIG. 1, in plan view in FIG. 2 and in cross section in FIGS. 3 and 4.
The marking strip according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is formed by molded concrete pieces 1 which are embedded in the road and which are connected to one another.
These shaped pieces 1 are expediently produced in series from white cement with a hard rock material of light color as a filler. For reasons of economy, however, it is advantageous to use a layer of this composition only for the upper part 2 of the molded pieces (see FIG. 3), while the lower part 3 consists of usual gray concrete. In many cases, the marking strips are not completely white, but rather in a different light color. The Swiss official regulations, for example, require the marking strips intended for pedestrians to be colored yellow.
This is achieved by adding the well-known cement colors to the white cement.
The laying of the pieces of foam; is advantageously done in a similar way as dm laying floor slabs.
When building a road with asphalt, tar or other bituminous pavement, according to Fig. 3, , for example, the marking strips are first laid on the concrete baseQ or Roliplanie in such a way that the fittings are on a layer of cement mortar 4 (possibly on top of a; layer of bituminous binder). The covering is then applied next to the shaped pieces, with the visible surface of the marching strips being protected from damage and fouling by suitable covering t3 n .
The covering should also prevent the mortar layer from setting too quickly due to moisture retention. When building concrete roads, for example, by inserting wooden shaped bar pieces, recess grooves according to FIG. 4 are formed to accommodate the marking strips. The shaped concrete pieces are then laid as described before the concrete binds and the joints between the road and the marking strips are filled with asphalt 5, for example.
C Instead of laying fittings in the recess grooves, there is an alternative option of stamping the light-colored concrete mass into the recess strips on site for each fitting.
To lay the marking strips in an existing road with tar, asphalt or other bituminous pavement, it is advisable to break out a furrow down to the concrete or roliplane, whereupon the molded marble pieces are laid in an oleielifi manner, as already described. The game between pieces of Förnis and road surface is in turn filled with asphalt, for example.
