Waage.
EMI0004.0006
Das <SEP> Gewicht <SEP> der <SEP> Ware <SEP> 0,758 <SEP> kg
<tb> Preis <SEP> pro <SEP> kg <SEP> Fr. <SEP> 1. <SEP> 20
<tb> Zu <SEP> bezahlende <SEP> Summe <SEP> " <SEP> 0.
Libra. There are automatic or semi-automatic scales known in which the weight of a product is indicated by the fact that a pointer is relative to a fixed scale that can form a full circle or parts of a circle, or a circular .Skala see relative to a fixed Pointer moves.
These scales, which are currently used most for store use, are extremely practical when it comes to reading the weight of a product.
In recent years, however, there has been an increasing demand that scales should issue a control slip on which the weight of the goods is printed, and in contrast to sliding weight scales, where such a slip is easily available Up to now, with automatic and semi-automatic scales, it has not been possible to issue such control slips with the accuracy required by the various adjustment authorities.
As will be explained in more detail below, the invention provides the possibility of remedying this.
Furthermore, scales are known, in wel chen a corresponding to the deflection of the scales moving organ with buttons together menacts that determine the setting of Zah len organs such. B. type wheels, and by means of which the indication of the weight of a commodity on the scale in separate settings of "ones", "tens", "hundreds" etc. are converted into the number indicating the weight of the goods on the organs determining the numbers is so: that the same can for example be printed on a ticket.
The present invention relates to a special construction of such scales and is characterized in that the organ moved accordingly to the deflection has holes which are divided into main groups according to "ones", "tens", "hundreds" etc. of the number expressing the weight of the goods are divided, each group is divided into subgroups, each of which corresponds to a "ones", "tens", "hundreds" etc.
have the number of holes corresponding to the number mentioned, and that the buttons, which each consist of a set of mutually firmly connected needles, are placed in such a way compared to a main group of holes that they are each passed through the hole when they are guided against the perforated organ Number of holes of the hole subgroup just coming into effect certain smaller or larger movement that is transmitted to the number-determining organs.
The element pointing to the groups of holes can be set up for movement by means of hand, a motor or some other auxiliary force, a pointer or the like moved by the scales being able to serve as a stop for the movement after a suitable stop.
The element having the groups of holes can also be set up for movement by the scale itself and is then permanently connected to one of the moving parts of the scale.
The drawing relates to an embodiment of the subject of the invention designed in this latter type.
Fig. 1 shows schematically the balance with the hole element; Fig. 2 shows a section of the last rem on a larger scale, and Fig. 3 is a cross section through the Lochlement and the combing group of combs with it.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes a fixed point around which a lever 2, influenced in point 5 by the load 3 on the weighing pan 4, can be rotated, the parallel guidance of the weighing pan 4 being circumscribed by points 1, 5, 6, 7 nen parallelogram is guaranteed.
A toothed rack 8 is articulated to the outer part of the lever 2 and, by means of a toothed wheel 9, rotates a disk 10 on which a scale 11 is printed. 12 is a fixed pointer, 1-3 one on the lever? angrei fende oil or air brake, which should bring the disc 10 to rest quickly, and. 14 a pendulum that swings under the influence of a flexible band 15 connected to the lever 2 until equilibrium is reached.
In the embodiment shown, a circular ring 1.6 is provided on the disk 10 as an element which, by means of groups of holes made in it, transforms the result visible on the disk for setting "ones", "tens "etc. allows. For the sake of simplicity, the arrangement is only shown for "ones", "tens" and "hundreds". 2 shows part of the disk 10 on a larger scale.
The scale 11 of the disk 10 is graduated from 0 to 1,000 grams, and the fragment of the same shown on the drawing extends from 550 grams to 615 grams.
The circular ring 16 is divided into three ring fields with regard to the groups of holes, of which the inner one contains the group of holes for the "hundreds", the middle the group of holes for the "tens" and the outer the group of holes for the "ones".
In the position shown in Fig. 2, the fixed pointer 12 indicates that the weight of the load is 578 grams, and if you follow the corresponding radius of the circular ring outwards, you can see that there were five holes on this radius in the inner group of holes ben corresponding to the "hundreds", in the middle group of holes seven holes corresponding to the "tens" and in the outer group of holes eight holes corresponding to the "ones".
For any given weight you will find a row of holes next to this information on the same radius as the pointer, divided into groups corresponding to the individual digits of this weight information.
3 shows the disk 10 in a section through the radius, which corresponds to a weight specification of <B> 5 </B> 7 grams. In front of the groups of "hundreds", "tens" and "ones" there are comb-like Button 17 each with nine needle-shaped teeth of gradually decreasing length, which are perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to the surface of the disk 10, wherein they are in or approximately in a plane extending through the axis of rotation of the disk. These buttons can be in the longitudinal direction of their teeth be displaced by rods 1.8 angular in cross section.
The pushbuttons can be moved: by any means. In the embodiment shown, each of the buttons 17 is subjected to a spring pressure against the disk 10 (in the direction of the arrow), but is actuated by a common stopper 19. -the against the pin. 20: the rods 18 rests, normally prevented from moving.
One piece: the square bars. 1.8 is designed as a rack and engages in toothed wheels 21, on which discs 2.2 be fastened: are, -whose scope carries the digits 0 to 9, which take the form of printing types, z. B. like the types of a typewriter.
Fig. 3 shows this device in the normal paint rest position of the parts.
The. A load is now weighed in the following way: The load 3 is placed on the weighing pan 4. This sets the pendulum 14 and the disc 10 in motion, and the disc 10 stops at the moment when the weight indication corresponding to the load (in the appendix 57.8 grams) appears under the pointer, with the oscillating and gene are dampened by the brake 13.
When the disk 10 has come to rest completely, the stopper 19 is removed and the buttons 17 will then move against the disk 10 under the influence of the spring pressure on them.
There are now five holes in front of button 17 (, n0, which means that it can move until needle no.6 hits disk 10 from the left (using the needles 1-2-3-4- 5-6-7-8-9 thinks> and then stops further movement of the button. In the same way, button 17 (, o) will move until needle no. 8 against: disk 1, 0 and .the button 17 (,) - until the needle no. 9 hits the disc 10.
Through the racks 18 and the gear wheels 21: The type wheels 2.2 are rotated so that: the number 5 for the "hundreds", the number 7 for the "tens" and the number 8 for the "ones "Stand in front of a reading or pressure opening, and you are now set to read or print the number 578. Printing can be done in any way, e.g.
B. with ribbon or the same (the printing mechanism is shown in the drawing).
The button 17 (,) is provided with an auxiliary needle 2i3 which, by penetrating into one of a series of conical holes 24: the disc 10, prevents the latter from assuming a wrong position in which the needles cannot move.
The holes corresponding to the various weights could also be placed along a cylindrical or conical surface instead of along radii in a disk.
Finally, the arrangement of the holes does not need to be attached to the scale itself, but can be on any suitable movable part of the balance.
The scales described can also be combined with a calculating machine, because the organs for setting digits 18 are in direct connection with the setting mechanism of one factor in a multiplication machine. The setting that:
these organs give is exactly the same as it is required to adjust one factor in a multiplication carried out by a calculating machine.
So if you yourself the unit price of the concerned by pressing keys or the like. Sets the goods as the other factor in the result, the balance can, for example, issue a control slip of the following form:
EMI0004.0006
The <SEP> weight <SEP> of the <SEP> goods <SEP> 0.758 <SEP> kg
<tb> Price <SEP> per <SEP> kg <SEP> Fr. <SEP> 1st <SEP> 20
<tb> <SEP> sum to be paid to <SEP> <SEP> "<SEP> 0. <SEP> 69, which makes the control complete.
It is well known that the capacity of the scales can be increased with the semi-automatic scales without reducing their accuracy by putting on one or more counterweights or by moving a counterweight designed as a sliding weight.
The present arrangement can be used in scales where the handle or the mechanism by means of which the counterweights necessary to increase the capacity are placed or shifted, in conjunction with one or more additional extra type wheels or digit setting members for "rope - sender "etc. stands in such a way,
that the setting of the latter is automatically controlled by the mechanism mentioned as a function of the weighing range of the balance determined by the counterweights.
