Scattering device for sand and the like. For scattering sand and the like. On paths ete. That are not accessible by car, flat, the grit absorbing Köibe are often used, but only have a limited capacity and therefore have to be refilled more often. These baskets, which have to be held in front of the body for work and supported on this because of the weight, have the further disadvantage that they obstruct the view of the person operating the device on the floor, which is especially true when walking on stairs and steep paths is extremely uncomfortable and hinders work.
The object of the invention now forms a spreader for sand and the like. Which, is characterized by a container provided with a shoulder strap for receiving the grit and by a container connected to the loading, movable on all sides and one-handedly operable distribution pipe with a distribution member. Furthermore, means are provided for attaching the distribution pipe to a strap, the whole being designed in such a way that,
if the distribution pipe is attached to the shoulder strap, the outflow of grit from the distribution pipe is interrupted.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically, namely: Fig. 1 is a side view of the Streuvor direction, partially in section, Fig. 2 is a view from the back ge, Fig. 3 see a part of the distribution pipe with the Distribution member on a larger scale and FIG. 4 shows a side view of FIG. 3.
1 with the container for receiving the grit, such as sand, fine-grained gravel and the like. Designates, the bottom of which is designed conically so that the deepest point is in the vicinity of one narrow side of the container 1. At the lowest point of the.
A curved connection pipe 2 is connected at the bottom, the free end of which is connected to a distributor pipe 4 by means of a hose section 3. At the end of the distribution pipe 4, a fan-shaped distribution member 5 is attached, which is equipped at one end with a pipe section 6 for sliding onto the V distribution pipe 4 and is slightly bent up at the other end. On the underside it has a reinforcement 5a.
In addition, two side walls 8 which run out towards the free end of the distribution member provided with passage slots 7 are provided, which prevent the litter emerging from the distribution pipe 4 from sliding off to the side. Instead of being flat, the distribution member can also be designed in the shape of a channel. his or some other suitable shape be seated, the side walls can also be omitted. It can also be seen before another attachment on the manifold.
Two carrying straps 9 are fastened to the container 1, one of which is equipped with a loop 10 or the like, into which a hook 11 arranged on the distribution pipe 4 can be suspended. If the hook 11 is hooked into the loop 10, the distributor tube assumes the position shown in dashed lines in FIG. 1, in which an outflow of the grit is excluded.
To use the spreader, after the container has been completely or only partially filled with grit as required, the spreader tube 4 is taken down from its rest position and held in an inclined position towards the end, so that .das grit according to its own weight can emerge from the tube 4. By connecting the distribution pipe 4 by means of a piece of hose 3 to the connection pipe of the container, the former is movable on all sides:
made and the person carrying the device before is able to distribute the grit in any width on the ground to be sprinkled by lateral pivoting movements. The amount of spreading material is regulated in a simple manner simply by selecting the inclination of the distribution pipe. Since the connecting pipe 2 itself is arranged on the side of the container 1, it is possible to arrange the distribution pipe on the side of the body without the use of arcs with additional resistances, which enables convenient operation.
When going up stairs etc. permitted: the Vorrich device, which only requires one-handed opera tion, the use of stairs or other support means, so that the person using this device is exposed to significantly less danger than both known, both hands be demanding common means is the case.
To place the spreader on the ground, the container is equipped with two U-shaped supports 12: which at the same time increase the stability of the B. container @,
as well as to protect @d! es Ansohluss @rohres 2 serve. These supports. are also arranged in such a way that they: do not hinder the mobility of the person carrying the direction.
In the illustrated embodiment, a cross section of rectangular container is provided. However, this container can also have any other cross-section, the only essential thing here is that the connection pipe is arranged laterally.
Both wood and. Me tall also get to use while the connecting tube 3 is made of rubber, leather or your other flexible material. can stand.
The container can furthermore also be equipped with a cover (not shown in the drawing) which prevents moisture etc. from penetrating into the container. This is particularly important
if the filled container is set up in the open air and the drifting poison is to be protected from the ingress of moisture because of the negative consequences (freezing, etc.) associated with it.
It has furthermore proven to be expedient to arrange a sieve 13 in the container, which is attached to a bar frame or the like. is fixed, which has means to hang it on the upper edge of the container:
to be able to. The arrangement of a sieve prevents larger stones, frozen lumps of sand, etc. from getting into the lower part of the holder,
where they would hinder the passage of the spreading material through the connection pipe. This sieve can be left in the container during use of the Verrich device and in this case also serves to loosen up the grit slipping downwards.
