Description
Fig. l. eine bereits bekannte Konstruk- tion eines Fahrgestelles mit zwischen den Sehwingarmen nur je einer Schraubenfeder ;
Chassis, especially for railroad and road motor vehicles, in which the
Wheel axles of at least approximately parallel, spring-loaded
Swing arms are guided.
The invention relates to a chassis, in particular one for railroad and road motor vehicles, in which the wheel shafts are guided by at least approximately d parallel, spring-loaded swing arms. It is known that the wing arms can be cushioned against one another by a single helical spring, but which spring has often proven to be inadequate.
The invention consists in that transverse parts are provided on the swing arms for receiving more than one spring, which are arranged on both sides of the swing arms.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing. namely shows:
Fig. L. an already known construction of a chassis with only one helical spring between the viewing arms;
FIG. 2 shows a side view, partly in section, of a chassis with two coil springs each and: FIG. 31 is a front view of the chassis according to FIG. 2.
1 means a tubular box surrounding the axle 2 of a driven or non-driven pair of wheels, which is provided at both ends with plates 3 for the braking devices. On these plates 3 swingable arms 4 and 5 are articulated. The swing arm 4 is mounted on a pin 6 arranged on the chassis support and is provided with an extension 7 which is designed with a sleeve.
The swing arm 5 is also mounted on a pin 9 attached to the chassis support and has a sleeve 10 in front of this pin. The sleeves 8 and 10 encompass pins 11 and 12, which are mounted in holders 13 and 14 of fork-shaped design. Cross parts 15 and 16 are fastened to the holders 13 and 14, the cross part 15 being adjustable with respect to the holder 13 by the screw nut 19. 20 and 211 are telescopically interlocking, to both. Cylindrical housings for the helical springs 17 and 18, which are arranged on the transverse parts 15 and 16 on the sides of the Sohwingajme.
In the case of a wider configuration of the transverse parts 15 and 16, four springs can naturally also be provided instead of two springs. By adjusting the nut 19, the distance between the cross members 15 and 16 and thus the tension of the springs can be changed. The springs can also be used without the housing. Inside or outside the housing, damping devices can still be connected to the springs. The chassis described can be used for railroad vehicles as well as for heavy street motor vehicles in which the simple springs in the arrangement g according to FIG. 1 would not suffice.
