EMI0002.0015
4-60 <SEP> g <SEP> Collodiumwolle, <SEP> mittelviskos, <SEP> mit
<tb> ,3i5;% <SEP> Butanol <SEP> angefeuchtet
<tb> 100 <SEP> " <SEP> hoohsiedende <SEP> Lösungsmittel
<tb> 100 <SEP> " <SEP> tiefsiedende <SEP> Lösungsmittel
<tb> 260 <SEP> " <SEP> Versehnittmittel
<tb> 90 <SEP> " <SEP> Weichmacher
EMI0002.0050
300 <SEP> g <SEP> Collodiumwolle, <SEP> niedrigviskos, <SEP> mit
<tb> 315 <SEP> % <SEP> Butanol <SEP> angefeuchtet
<tb> 1315 <SEP> " <SEP> hochsiedende <SEP> Lösungsmittel
<tb> 170 <SEP> " <SEP> tiefsiedende <SEP> Lösungsmittel
<tb> 120 <SEP> " <SEP> Weichmacher
<tb> 217<U>5 <SEP> "</U> <SEP> Pigmentfarbstoff
EMI0002.0079
<B>225</B> <SEP> g <SEP> Collodiumwolle, <SEP> niedrigviskos., <SEP> mit
<tb> 3,5 <SEP> % <SEP> Butanol <SEP> angefeuchtet
<tb> 600 <SEP> " <SEP> hochsiedende <SEP> Lösungsmittel
<tb> 1'3i0 <SEP> " <SEP> mittelsiedende <SEP> Verschnittmittel
<tb> <U>45 <SEP> "</U> <SEP> Weichmacher
EMI0003.0001
beispielsweise <SEP> wie <SEP> folgt <SEP> zusammengesetzt
<tb> sein:
<tb> 100 <SEP> g <SEP> Collodiumwolle, <SEP> niedrigviskos, <SEP> mit
<tb> <B>3,5%</B> <SEP> Butanol <SEP> angefeuchtet
<tb> 200 <SEP> " <SEP> hochsiedende <SEP> Lösungsmittel
<tb> 2110 <SEP> " <SEP> tiefsiedende <SEP> Lösungsmittel
<tb> 480 <SEP> " <SEP> mittel- <SEP> und <SEP> tiefsiedende <SEP> Verschnitt mittel
<tb> <U>2</U>!0 <SEP> " <SEP> Weichmacher
Flexible, transparent, colored patterned flat structure made of cellulose derivative and process for its production. The present invention relates to a flexible, transparent, i. H. Transparent or translucent, colored, mother-of-pearl fabric made of cellulose derivative, which can be used primarily for advertising signs, window frames, imitation of glass painting, etc.
The well-known banners for advertising signs, window pictures, etc. are either painted on glass or there are .sind these colored be painted foils, which are so thin that they iiieh1; can be hung, but must be pulled onto glass etc. In addition, they make a flat impression that bears no resemblance to stained glass.
The sheet-like structure according to the present invention is characterized in that it consists of a carrier layer made of cellulose derivative material, with which raised borders made of high-bodied, plastic cellulose derivative and transparent, colored cellulose derivative layers located between the borders are inextricably linked , in such a way that the whole is a single-layer structure.
A planar structure according to the present invention now has various advantages over the known transparencies. For the colored areas, transparent respectively. Translucent color solutions are used, so that these surfaces are either clear, colored glass or, if pigments are added to the color solutions,
act like frosted glass. These flat structures are also flexible and weatherproof, so they can be rolled for transport and can also be used as neon signs outdoors.
They can be created with any stability, so that they can be hung on the window when they are opened. The raised borders of the colored areas give these flat structures a three-dimensional impression, as is the case with the glass paintings through the lead frames, and they also act as a stiffener.
When creating this sheet-like structure, for example, the following procedure is used: A cellulose derivative solution, which can be colorlessly clear, for example, is placed on a rigid, flat base in any thickness as a carrier, such as B. glass, etc. applied.
This cellulose derivative solution advantageously only contains so many high-boiling solvents that the carrier layer produced therefrom BEZW during drying. Evaporate the solvent does not turn white.
It is composed, for example, as follows-
EMI0002.0015
4-60 <SEP> g <SEP> collodion wool, <SEP> medium viscosity, <SEP> with
<tb>, 3i5;% <SEP> butanol <SEP> moistened
<tb> 100 <SEP> "<SEP> high-boiling <SEP> solvents
<tb> 100 <SEP> "<SEP> low-boiling <SEP> solvents
<tb> 260 <SEP> "<SEP> blending agent
<tb> 90 <SEP> "<SEP> plasticizer
<tb> 10.00 <SEP> g After the necessary evaporation of the solvents of the carrier layer, the base with the carrier adhering to it is advantageously placed on the sample template. With a plasticized,
Cellulose derivative paste containing a lot of body, which is mixed with pigment, for example, is now applied to the carrier in accordance with the template with a brush, cone or a suitable device, wherever two differently colored surfaces are to meet.
The cellulose derivative paste for these borders is adjusted in such a way that it slightly loosens the carrier and, after hardening, forms raised and flexible strips which are closely connected to the carrier due to the slight dissolution of the same.
This paste is composed, for example, as follows:
EMI0002.0050
300 <SEP> g <SEP> collodion wool, <SEP> low viscosity, <SEP> with
<tb> 315 <SEP>% <SEP> butanol <SEP> moistened
<tb> 1315 <SEP> "<SEP> high-boiling <SEP> solvents
<tb> 170 <SEP> "<SEP> low-boiling <SEP> solvents
<tb> 120 <SEP> "<SEP> plasticizer
<tb> 217 <U> 5 <SEP> "</U> <SEP> pigment
<tb> 1000 <SEP> g After hardening of the raised:
Around borders, which can also be applied to both sides of the carrier layer, the surfaces in between can be removed using a brush, bag or spray gun, etc., depending on the thickness of the desired application.
filled with transparent, colored cellulose derivative solutions, which advantageously contain a large proportion of high-boiling solvents in order to enable the solutions to run evenly and to achieve a slight dissolution of the carrier and the raised borders.
These colored cellulose derivative solutions can be composed, for example, as follows:
EMI0002.0079
<B> 225 </B> <SEP> g <SEP> collodion wool, <SEP> low viscosity., <SEP> with
<tb> 3.5 <SEP>% <SEP> butanol <SEP> moistened
<tb> 600 <SEP> "<SEP> high-boiling <SEP> solvents
<tb> 1'3i0 <SEP> "<SEP> medium-boiling <SEP> by-products
<tb> <U> 45 <SEP> "</U> <SEP> plasticizers
<tb> 1000 <SEP> g, <SEP> colored <SEP> with <SEP> 2 <SEP> to <SEP> 4 <SEP> g <SEP> Zapo-fast color.
Instead of collo- dium wool solutions, cellulose derivative solutions can also be used for supports, borders and colored areas, such as: B. Solutions based on Acetylzellulos @ e etc.
After the residual evaporation of the solvent (possibly with the aid of a drying cabinet), the surface structure, which is now a firmly bonded, uniform and stable film due to the mutual loosening of the three cellulose solutions used, can be removed from the base. using a water bath if necessary.
Before or after applying the raised borders and filling in the fields in between, the wearer can be provided with one or more colors by means of a brush, spray gun, etc. with detailed drawings, such as shading, etc., whereby the pictorial we effect of the fabric can be increased, such as the z. B. is the case with glass paintings.
This decoration color can
EMI0003.0001
for example <SEP> composed like <SEP> follows <SEP>
<tb> be:
<tb> 100 <SEP> g <SEP> collodion wool, <SEP> low viscosity, <SEP> with
<tb> <B> 3.5% </B> <SEP> butanol <SEP> moistened
<tb> 200 <SEP> "<SEP> high-boiling <SEP> solvents
<tb> 2110 <SEP> "<SEP> low-boiling <SEP> solvents
<tb> 480 <SEP> "<SEP> medium- <SEP> and <SEP> low-boiling <SEP> waste medium
<tb> <U> 2 </U>! 0 <SEP> "<SEP> plasticizer
<tb> <B> 1000 </B> <SEP> g, <SEP> colored <SEP> with <SEP> 10.0 <SEP> g <SEP> pigment dye.
Likewise, it is of course also possible to apply these shades to the front or back of the finished Ge image. In addition, the effect of the surface structure can be increased if the same is still with a .der known shrinkage after completion or rice varnish is coated.
Of course, it is also possible, by using sufficient quantities of plasticizers in the production of the carrier. g layer, the borders and the colored surfaces to obtain a flat structure of such great suppleness that it sticks firmly when pressed against smooth surfaces.
It has already been proposed to make imitations of lead frames by means of strips of lead-like colored material. Quite apart from that. that at the time of the granting of the patent in question cellulose derivative films were not yet known, the composition described there would be absolutely unsuitable for the present purpose, as it leads to brittle borders. which can never adhere to the base as firmly as the present, because they do not bond to the base, but only stick to it.
