construction element provided with recesses. The arrangement of recesses, boreholes and the like, which is often necessary for machines and components of all kinds, has a disadvantageous effect when the components are stressed by external forces not only through the resulting reduction in cross-section, but also especially because the recess caused by the recesses is not normal The flow of force deflected over the course of the course is not evenly distributed over the remaining cross-section, but causes increased stress on the material in the immediate vicinity of the recesses.
It was found that recesses with an elongated (elliptical, oval) cross-section, the cross-sectional longitudinal axis of which runs in the direction of the force flow, result in less irregularities in the stress distribution, such as recesses with a circular cross-section or a cross-section extending transversely to the direction of the force line. Now, however, the circular shape of the recesses is particularly preferred, or not at all, to be avoided, partly for reasons of manufacturing technology, partly because of a possibly required articulated mobility of the further components fastened in the recesses.
The purpose of the invention is now, with construction elements of all kinds, by appropriate design of the wall parts in the vicinity of recesses, a similarly favorable deflection of the force flow and distribution of the stresses in the cross-sections weakened by the recesses, as they are arranged in the direction of the force line Long holes occurs. The invention essentially consists in
that the walls of the construction element stressed by tensile or compressive forces have interruptions in the direction of the force flow, which, due to their shape, are suitable to gradually divert the force flow from the area of the recess and thus through an accumulation of the lines of force in the immediate vicinity the excavation and to prevent excessive material stress at this point.
Structural parts with several recesses lying one behind the other in the direction of the force flow are already known, but in the known structural parts the mutual assignment and shape of the recesses is not suitable for achieving the effect according to the invention.
In the drawing, the object of the invention is shown in exemplary execution forms. 1, 2 and 3 show rod-shaped, perforated construction elements with material interruptions arranged according to the invention in .der the area of the recesses together with the 'lines of force within the rod under tensile stress in the longitudinal direction. For comparison, Fig. 4 shows the course of the force lines in a rod that is equally stressed and only provided with a round hole.
5 and 6 show the eye-shaped widened end of a rod subjected to tensile stress, with and without the inventive design for the gradual deflection: the flow of force. In .Stab 1 (Fig. 1) a circular recess 2 is drilled, which example, can be used to attach any other structural element, without that the fastening bolts mean more forces are transmitted. In the longitudinal direction of the .Stabes each .ein slot 3 is cut into the rod on both sides of the bore 2.
The slots run according to a semi-oval that is open towards the circular bore and gradually tapering towards the opposite side. The most pulpy point of the half-oval formed by a slot .3 is measured in the direction normal to the rod axis smaller or maximum equal to the diameter of the hole 2. The production: the slots 3 can be before geous from small holes 4 at the end of the slots be done by cutting with a saw or a cutting torch. Instead of the oval slots, further smaller recesses can also be arranged on both sides of the recess 2 (FIG. 2).
These are most simply formed by circular boreholes 5, but can also have an oval or semi-oval shape that more closely matches the desired force line requirement, which is particularly recommended for the holes 6 furthest from the recess 2. The width of the recesses 5, 6 decreases with increasing distance from the main recess 2 to be protected. The simplest solution from the manufacturing technology point of view arises when in front of and behind the recess 2 only one circular borehole 7 of a smaller diameter is arranged (FIG. 3).
The drill holes in front of and behind the recess 2 can be connected to one another and to the main recess 2 by a longitudinal slot. Also a longitudinal slot alone before respectively. behind the recess 2 is arranged, requires an increase in the stress ability in the sense of the inven tion.
If the bars shown are subjected to tensile stress, then the drawn force flow patterns result, which can be taken from that the lines of force through .die slots resp. the holes 5, 6, 7 are very gradually deflected so that they are fairly evenly distributed in the endangered cross section next to the main recess 2. In Fig. 4, for comparison, the course of the lines of force in a perforated rod is shown, which does not show the inventive design for protecting the endangered cross-section.
Here the lines of force are only deflected directly at the recess 2 and are therefore much closer to one another in the vicinity of the recess than in the rest of the rod. The rod is therefore at the Stel len 8: the hole wall have increased stress. The rods designed according to the invention, which show a uniform stress on the endangered cross-section at the recesses, are therefore more resistant and have a higher tensile strength. The same picture of increased resistance naturally also emerges when the bars are subjected to pressure.
Even with direct transmission of the rod forces to a bolt mounted in the recess 2, the new design of the rod in the vicinity of the recess can be used to advantage, particularly with tensile forces. Thus, FIG. 5 shows an eye rod mounted on the bolt 9 and subjected to tensile stress, which has an elongated, semi-oval slot 10 in front of the bearing recess. The image of the force line distribution shows the advantageous effect of the measure according to the invention in comparison to the force flow curve shown in FIG. 6 in a conventional eye rod.
In order to avoid that the boundary surfaces of the slots and auxiliary bores are exposed to the attack of rust, it is recommended that slots or. Fill the holes with putty, solder or similar fillers. If a material is used as a filler for the auxiliary slots and bores, which is suitable for transmitting compressive forces, but which does not adhere firmly to the bar walls, so that no tensile stress can run over the filled bores, then these are suitable he inventively designed components also for alternating tension and pressure transmission to the bolt mounted in the recess 2, as z.
B. occurs on the bearing heads of push rods. Under certain circumstances, it may also be advantageous to remove the rod material between the slots 3, 10 and the main recess 2 and replace it with pressed-in inserts made of a different material. In pursuance of this construction principle, it is also possible to press an oval insert into the rod and only drill the recess 2 into this.
