Dispositif pour le calfeutrage de joints de baies. La présente invention concerne le calfeu trage des joints de baies. Le dispositif qui en fait l'objet est plus efficace que les bour relets ordinairement utilisés dans le même but, et peut être réalisé plus simplement.
Ce dispositif est constitué par une bande de matière souple, pliée suivant sa longueur et disposée dans le joint à calfeutrer, le dos du pli vers l'intérieur du local, une aile fixée à la partie fixe<B>du</B> joint, tandis que l'autre, laissée libre, vient s'appuyer contre la partie mobile du joint.
S'il s'agit d'une porte ou d'une fenêtre, la bande de calfeutrage est disposée dans la feuilleure du chambranle ou du cadre, une aile fixée au chambranle ou au cadre, l'autre s'appuyant contre le bord correspondant de la porte ou du battant de la fenêtre. Le dis positif suivant l'invention peut être utilisé dans tous les cas plus ou moins analogues, no tamment pour clore les joints des boîtes où sont logés les rideaux en bois et en métal pla cés devant les fenêtres ou les devantures de magasins. Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution du disposi tif suivant l'invention, appliqué à une porte.
La fig. 1 est une vue en perspective; La fig. 2 est une coupe suivant II-II de la précédente, le battant étant supposé fermé.
Tel que représenté, le dispositif est cons titué par une bande de papier, pliée, suivant sa longueur, en 1. L'une des ailes 2 du pli a été gommée au préalable. Elle est collée sur le fond de la feuillure du chambranle A, de manière à ce que le dos du pli se trouve vers l'intérieur du local. L'autre aile 3 du pli reste libre. Elle vient s'appliquer contre le bord correspondant B du vantail. Elle joue le rôle d'un clapet de retenue, s'appliquant d'autant plus fortement sur son siège que la poussée de l'air est plus forte.
Bien entendu, l'invention n'est pas limi tée à ce qui est décrit et représenté, mais neut donner lieu à des variantes. C'est ainsi qu'on pourrait utiliser toute autre matière appropriée pour constituer l'obturateur, et fixer une de ses ailes par tout autre moyen approprié.
