Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 173751. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines transparenten, rötlich braunen Lackes. Es wurde gefunden, dass es gelingt, einen transparenten, rötlich braunen Lack mit aus gezeichneten Echtheitseigenschaften herzu stellen, indem man den Monoazofarbstoff aus diazotiertem 5-Nitro-3-amino-4-oxy-1- methylbenzol und Acetessigester, eine Ver, bindung des 6wertigen Chroms und einen Lack zusammenbringt und durch gelindes Erwärmen des Gemisches das rötlich braun ,
gefärbte Chromkomplexsalz des Farbstoffes sich bilden lässt. Man erhält je nach der Farbstoffkonzentration einen heller oder dunkler rötlich braun gefärbten, transparen ten Lack von sehr grosser Reinheit des Farb tones, der gut lichtechte Anstriche ergibt. Seine Verwendung liegt auf allen Gebieten der Anstrichtechnih, wo grosse Ansprüche an die Lichtechtheit gestellt werden.
Als Ausgangslacke kommen die meisten Lacke und Firnisse der Technik in Frage, die Acetylzellulose- und Nitrozelluloselacke, Lacke aus Kunstharzen, wie Glyzerin-Phthal- säureanhydrid-Kondensationsprodukte, Chlor- kautschuklacke, Gelatinelösungen, Sprit lacke, Leinöl und Lithographenfirnisse.
Beispiel: 0,4 g des Monoazofarbstoffes aus diazo- tiertem 5-Nitro-3-amino-4-oxy-l-methylben- zol und Acetessigester werden in 100g Nitro- zelluloselack gelöst, mit 0,2 g Natrium- bichromat versetzt und -durch gelindes Er wärmen in den gut lichtechten rötlich brau nen Lack übergeführt.
Der Nitrolack kann zum Beispiel wie folgt zusammengesetzt sein: 155 Teile Kollodiumwolle butanolfeucht 400 Teile Butylacetat 20 Teile Dibutylphthalat 25 Teile Trikresylphosphat 400 Teile Athylalkohol 9,6 %.

Most technical lacquers and varnishes can be used as starting lacquers, acetyl cellulose and nitrocellulose lacquers, lacquers made from synthetic resins such as glycerol-phthalic anhydride condensation products, chlorinated rubber lacquers, gelatin solutions, fuel lacquers, linseed oil and lithographic varnishes.
Example: 0.4 g of the monoazo dye from diazotized 5-nitro-3-amino-4-oxy-l-methylbenzene and acetoacetic ester are dissolved in 100 g of nitrocellulose varnish, 0.2 g of sodium bichromate is added and - transferred to the lightfast, reddish-brown varnish by gentle heating.
The nitro lacquer can be composed, for example, as follows: 155 parts of collodion wool, moist butanol, 400 parts of butyl acetate, 20 parts of dibutyl phthalate, 25 parts of tricresyl phosphate, 400 parts of ethyl alcohol 9.6%.
