Fr eikolben-Druckgaserzeuger.
Free piston compressed gas generator. The invention relates to a free piston compressed gas generator with a Umschaltein direction between the compressed gas generator and the point of use, in particular for starting the compressed gas generator.
It is known, in free piston compressed gas generator systems, in which several free piston compressed gas generators BEZW on a common pressure line. are connected to a common C gas turbine, for power control individual compressed gas generators off or. to switch on. Since the pressurized gas generator is switched on at full counterpressure, the pressurized gas generator is already heavily loaded with the first strokes.
This not only makes it more difficult to start up, but it also creates difficulties with regard to the thermal and mechanical stress on the compressed gas generator, as well as with regard to operational monitoring.
In compressed air power plants, it is already known to install a 1J switching valve in the compressed air line, by means of which the compressed air machine is connected to the atmosphere when the power machine driving the compressed air generator is started. The compressed air generator then works without counterpressure and its drive machine, for example an internal combustion engine, can easily be started.
The invention makes it possible to avoid those disadvantages and consists in the fact that the switching device built into the path of the compressed gas is designed as a space that can be shut off on the one hand with the consumption point on the other hand with a line in which the pressure is less than behind the shut-off device between the compressed gas generator and the point of consumption.
Advantageously, the shut-off device between the compressed gas generator and the point of consumption is actuated automatically in depen dence on a difference in pressure at the compressed gas outlet of the compressed gas generator and behind the shut-off device between the compressed gas generator and the point of consumption. The two shut-off elements of the switching device can also have a common drive.
In the drawing, two Ausfüh approximately examples of the invention are shown schematically.
1 shows a compressed gas generator with its connection to a pressure line and an exhaust line; Fig. 2 shows a switching device.
The free piston compressed gas generator 1 ge according to FIG. 1 has two compressor cylinders 2 and an internal combustion cylinder 3 in between, in which the free piston 4 work. The compressor cylinders 2 suck in the atmospheric air through the intake ports 5 and convey the compressed air into the collecting line 7, which leads to the inlet slots 8 of the internal combustion cylinder 3.
The fuel is fed to the fuel cylinder 3 through the nozzle 9. The pressurized gases escape through the outlet slots 10 and the line 11 into the pressurized gas tank 121. The pressurized gas tank 12 can be connected via the shut-off device 13 to the pressure line 14 leading to the consumption point (not shown) and via the shut-off device 15 to the exhaust line 16) which empties into the atmosphere at 17.
When the pressure line 14 is under full pressure and the compressed gas generator 1 is to be left on, the shut-off organ 1'3, unless it has already been closed when the compressed gas generator 1 is shut down, is closed and the shut-off element 15 to the exhaust pipe 16 is opened .
After the free pistons 4 of the compressed gas generator 1 have been set in motion, the compressed gas generator 1 is initially operated in idle mode, with the compressed gases exiting through the outlet slots 10 escaping into the open via the exhaust line 16.
Subsequently, by slowly closing the shut-off element 15, the counterpressure of the compressed gas generator 1, that is to say the pressure in the compressed gas container 12, is gradually increased until it has risen to the pressure prevailing in the pressure line 14. The shut-off element 13 is now opened and the shut-off element 15 is completely closed, so that the compressed gas generator 1 now works under full pressure.
In FIG. 2, the outlet slots 10 of the internal combustion cylinder of the pressure gas generator are connected to the pressure line 14 via the space 12 by means of the shut-off valve 19 and to the exhaust line 16 by means of the shut-off valve 20. The shut-off valve 19 is actuated by the piston 21 of the servo motor 22 by being pressed onto the piston 21 against the spring 31 on its seat when it closes by the pressure of the pressure fluid, for example pressure oil.
The inflow line 24 and the outflow line 2, 5 for the pressure fluid of the servomotor 22 are controlled by the piston valve via 26. The pressure medium passes through the line 24 into the space 27 and from there through the bore 29 under the piston 21. The space above the piston 21 is verbun through the opening 30 with the atmosphere. The piston slide 2ss is provided with a piston 32 under the pressure of a spring 36 in the cylinder 33, which with means of the pipes 34 and 35 with the space 12 respectively. with the line 14 is in connection.
When the pressure line 14 is under pressure and the space 12 is relieved, the piston 32 is pressed upwards against the action of the spring 36 and the piston slide 2'6 is held in the position shown. When the valve 20 closes slowly, the pressure in the space 12 rises. The piston 32 is also loaded on the upper side.
As soon as the pressure in the space 12 is as high, for example, as in the line 14, the pressure on the upper surface of the piston 32: together with the pressure of the spring 36, the pressure on the lower. Side of the piston 32 overcome.
The piston 32 then moves downwards with the piston slide 26, so that the pressure medium supply line 24 is closed and the discharge line 25 is connected to the space 27. As a result, the pressure medium emerges from the lower space of the servo motor 22 and the piston 21 is pressed down by the spring 31 and opens the valve 19. Then the valve 20 is completely closed. When switching off the compressed gas generator 1, the valve 20 is opened.
The pressure in the space 12 drops, so that the piston 32, which is less loaded on the upper side than on the lower side, is driven upwards with the piston slide 26. After the line 2.1 has been opened and the pressure medium outlet 25 has been closed, pressure medium passes under the piston 21; this consequently closes valve 19.
If several free-piston compressed gas generators are connected to a common pressure line, respectively. are connected together to a gas turbine, the invention enables the start-up and connection, as well as the shutdown and shutdown of individual compressed gas generators without disturbances or interruptions in the compressed gas delivery of the other compressed gas generators, respectively. of gas turbine operation.
Another advantage is that the idling of the individual compressed gas generators is facilitated by reducing the idling work as a result of the smaller back pressure.
The interposition of a pressurized gas container between the pressurized gas generator and closing organs to the pressure and to the exhaust line has the advantage that the pressure increases, respectively. Pressure surges when compressed gas emerges from the idling compressed gas generator due to the volume of the pressure gas tank so that the operation of the idling compressed gas generator is not impaired when the counter pressure is increased to switch to the pressure line.
The valve 20 could be controlled as a function of an operating variable of the free piston compressed gas generator, for example from the Eapansionshubendlage or the fuel supply so that it is opened when idling and closed when loaded. Remote control can be provided for valves 19 and 20; they can be operated jointly, for example by the same shaft or the same motor. The valves 19 and 20 can also be combined to form a single switchover element which connects the compressed gas generator either to the exhaust gas line 16 or to the pressure line 14.
In the pressure line 14, a check valve can be built in, which prevents the escape of compressed gas from the pressure line 14 into the compressed gas generator when the valve 19 is open and the back pressure is low at the compressed gas outlet of the compressed gas generator.
The compressed air of the Luftkompres sensors can instead of being completely fed to the inlet slots 8, in part, bypassing the internal combustion cylinder 3, can be mixed with the exhaust gases. A piston engine can also be seen instead of a gas turbine. The compressed gases can also be used in an industrial heating network. Furthermore, the free-piston compressed gas generator can output part of its power, for example electrically, by means of a generator, for example with an armature moved in a straight line.
Instead of switching the compressed gas generator 1 from the pressure line to the exhaust line, respectively. an immediate exhaust gas outlet into the open, the compressed gas generator 1 can be switched to a container or a line with lower pressure than in the line 14 who the.
In systems with several compressed gas generators in idle mode, only part of the compressed air can be fed to the inlet slots and on the other hand as scavenging air for other idle free-piston compressed gas generators where no air is compressed in idle mode and the recirculation energy for the Free piston is generated, for example, by air cushions.
