Fig. 2 ist eine Draufsicht auf Fig. 1.
Facility on brushes to sweep out corners. The present invention relates to a device on brushes that makes it possible to sweep the corners trainees with ease in a room or on stairs or the like, which is achieved by a smaller auxiliary brush that is verbun with the brush.
The problem is well known, which consists in the fact that the sweeping out of corners is made difficult or impossible by the fact that, due to the shape of the brush body, the brush cannot get into the outermost corner, which leads to great regret the housewife collects dirt in the corners and is difficult to remove from there.
This inconvenience is avoided according to the invention in that a smaller auxiliary brush is attached to the brush, which, if necessary, can be brought into a position such that it allows the corners to be swept out. In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject of the invention, attached to a hand brush, is shown.
Fig. 1 is a view of the hand brush with the corner wiper.
FIG. 2 is a top view of FIG. 1. The brush consists of the brush body 1, the handle 2 and the bristles 3 in a known manner.
According to the embodiment shown, an auxiliary brush with handle 4 and bristles 5 is provided on the brush body 1, namely the handle 4 is guided by a plate 6 which is attached to the brush body 1 in any suitable manner. A slot 7 is provided in this plate. On the handle 4 a threaded bolt 8 is fastened be on which a nut 9 is screwed. By tightening this nut, the auxiliary brush is secured in its position.
As far as the design of the auxiliary brush itself is concerned, it can be designed like a bottle cleaning brush known per se, that is, like the known steel brushes, namely the front part of the brush is expediently conical, but the angle opening au the tip of the cone is advantageously less than 90, so that the auxiliary brush can also reach the furthest corner.
Other embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are also possible without thereby exceeding the scope of the invention.
Instead of as drawn and described, z. B. the handle 4 of the auxiliary brush be bent wink lig so that the auxiliary brush in the position of use - comes to stand high enough above the brush.
The auxiliary brush can also be arranged pivotably on the brush body, the pivot point being at a suitable point on the brush body and suitable means being provided to secure the auxiliary brush in one position or the other.
Instead of leading the handle of the auxiliary brush through a plate, a guide slot in the brush body 1 can also be provided.
The device can also be provided for brushes with a long handle, in which case the auxiliary brush is arranged in a suitable manner on the handle of the brush.
A knife-like approach can also be provided on the auxiliary brush in order to dig out any dirt that may be fixed in the corners.
